"Elora?" I call her name but the voice doesn't come out of my mouth. She is in my arms, still and silent. My tied hand that was around her back has been covered in red fluid and I refuse to believe that the blood belongs to her. I wait to feel some kind of pain in my hands but the only pain I'm feeling right now is in my heart and no one even shot me. "YOU SHIT!!! WHY DID YOU SHOT HER????" Mason screams at Rei whose face is now pale while the revolver he was holding slips off his grip. "Elora!!" I shake her shoulder but she won't open her eyes. Why?Why is this happening again? This wasn't in my plan. I didn't consider this. Zeco was supposed to shoot Rei from his hiding place and then my men waiting outside would burst inside, taking Mason off-guard. While I protect Elora and send her to a safe place.I miscalculated.I feel a gun pointed at the back of my head. "Move and sign that paper Rodas or you will face the same faith as your girlfriend... I know you like your life," I do not spare any attention to him and keep calling for Elora. My life is on the verge of collapsing. Of course, I love my life but if Elora isn't part of it then what's the point? Whether I would become a living dead or completely lose myself and turn into something horrendous. "Hey, Babe!!! Look at me," I whisper but her limp body stays in my arms. "Rodas!!!" Mason yells, pressing the gun harder. My jaw clenched. I slowly place Elora on the floor and turn to look at Rei."I warned you!" I say in a low voice. He hasn't moved for a long time as if he was in shock. I pull my hands and they made a cracking sound before the handcuff falls on the floor. His eyes follow it in horror. Of course, he knows. I once trained him how to get rid of the handcuffs but he never learned. "RODAS!!!!" Mason barks again. Motherfucker wouldn't dare to shoot me as long as I don't sign that paper. He loves wealth more than anything.I grab Rei's collar and sneered. "Goodbye, Rei Ricci," I whisper near his ear and look towards the window right behind him. BAM!!!Zeco's bullet pierces his throat and Blood bursts out like water does through a broken pipe. I stare at his trembling body. Looking at him in this state, I feel peace. Within seconds, chaos starts in the room. Mason's men desperately look around for the shooter. "Fuckkk!!! Why are you all still standing useless shits, get ready!" Mason's panicked voice fills the room. Then he grabs my arm, pointing the gun at my back. "Sign the paper, Rodas... I'll let you-" The sound of raining gunfire interrupts him. I smirk."Think about how to get away from me Mason," I point toward the door and his eyes widen immediately. My men have already taken control of the warehouse. Most of Mason's men are on the ground, whether they are dead or injured. Liam bursts inside in panic and runs to Elora. His glares directed at me can kill people and I dare not go near Elora in front of him. He carries her and runs out of the room. She will be fine. I tell myself. She has to be fine for me, to give me punishment for failing over and over to protect her. "You- You tricked me!!" He shouts. "Do you think only you can do that?" I smirk."What about your girl?"  She will be fine. "Worry about yourself, Mason Turner," I say advancing toward him. "S-Shit... Don't come near me! I will shoot you," he warns me with a weak voice, fingers trembling around the gun he is holding while he takes steps backwards. I laugh and grab his gun, he let it go immediately and looks around in fear and then back at me. He tries to smile but he can barely keep himself from trembling. "L-Look why don't we sit and talk nicely?" He says making me burst into laughter.  "Is there anything left to talk about Mason Turner?" I ask him and he stays silent, colour draining out of his face. "Look... I don't have time to joke around. So, be good and obediently let my people take you to the torture house ok?" He shakes his head furiously. "Rodas... I never told Rei to shoot her-"I wipe the dust off my face and clothes and the blood coming out from a cut on my cheek. Fuck. at this point, my face will be filled with scars only. "Well... Rei is dead. So, I don't know if you're saying the truth or not" I simply say and signal one of my men to take Mason. But when he is just about to touch Mason someone shoots him down. Moments later, a large group of men walks in. Mason's men.Mason's face suddenly lights up. Hope flickers in his eyes. Suddenly, the room fills with men pointing guns at each other. I look at Mason who is now smirking at me."Let's see who wins Rodas," he whispers. There is a moment of silence before the room is in chaos again. Mason makes his way towards the exit, taking advantage of the crowd. The dog is fleeing. If I follow him straight, I will lose him. So, I take the back door, loading my gun on the way. There's no way I'm letting him go today. He is nowhere to be seen outside. I look around and do not find him but then when I'm about to go to the other side of the building, my eyes catch the weirdly swaying sunflowers on a particular area. I look carefully and let out a ridiculous laugh seeing Mason Turner running through the sunflower field. I take a long stride toward the field. "I'm sorry I'm going to stain you with this coward's filthy blood," I mumble before aiming my gun at Mason's leg. Not gonna give him an easy death. I pull the trigger. Mason Turner shrieks and falls but even so he does not give up running. I shoot his other leg and that's when he falls flat. "Let me go... I'll disappear.... I'll really disappear" he cries out.I point the gun at his forehead. "Welcome to hell, Mason Turner"
