Rodas's POV-----------------It's my fault. I should've bolted that door before leaving. Now Elora had seen it. The disgusting little creature Mason Turner. She must have felt so scared seeing him. She must have thought about our baby. As I thought. I should've given Mason a more painful death. That wasn't enough. He still terrified my girl. But even if she is scared, I'm always there for her and she knows about it. So, I don't understand why she seemed scared of me and wanted to stay alone. I saw her in the living room this morning and I didn't interrupt her because she said she wanted to have some time alone but now it's already past 5 pm. She still hasn't set foot in the bedroom. Now it's so obvious that she is avoiding me. I walk out of my office room to look for her. She is not playing piano or studying books and she is not in our bedroom either. The nursery room is locked. I checked the kitchen and she was not there. The only place left is her bedroom but when I enter the room, it's empty. There is no sign of her coming into this room. I sigh and open the window. It's already dark outside and she left her phone in the bedroom. "Where are you, Elora?" I mumble standing at the window, thinking about the places in the mansion where she probably might go. When I just turn around to leave the room, Elora storms inside and immediately closes the door. She put her head against the door and let out a sigh of relief. And she has no idea that I'm inside.I smirk at her little smart head. So, she believes that she is hiding well from me. "Who are you hiding from Princess?" My voice takes her by surprise. Her body freezes for a moment and then slowly she turns around with wide eyes. She takes a step back and against the wooden door. She really wasn't expecting to see me here. Is she? I raise my eyebrow and walk towards her. Her beautiful face cast into fear and anxiety. Seeing her like this somehow makes me mad. "Were you hiding from me?" I ask, staring straight at her.She shakes her head and grabs the hem of her shirt with shaky fingers. Why is she behaving like this?I step closer and put my hand against the door and slowly brush aside some of the hair strands that have been hindering her eyes. Then I slowly lean forward and capture the corner of her lips before looking at her again. "Are you perhaps trying to avoid me?" She keeps her eyes down, avoiding my gaze instead of answering me.She is driving me crazy. I don't know why she is behaving like I'm going to hit her any moment. I could never do that. She is well aware of it. If something is bothering her then, I'm right here. Ready to listen and if someone is bothering her then, their faith has been decided. I'll break every bone present in their body. So, I don't know why she is scared. I wait for her to speak, but she doesn't. "Sunshine... Don't make me mad. When I talk to you, please look at me" My tone has been a bit rough. She slowly looks up and there are tears in her eyes, threatening to fall.I feel a twitch of pain in my stomach seeing her like this. "Babe," I whisper and gently pull her into my arms. She breaks down into sobs almost immediately. "Tell me... What's bothering you?" I ask. "I'll make it right," Her body shakes as she tries to stop herself from crying continuously."I-I'm scared" she cries out. I frown and hold her face while making her look at me."Of whom Sunshine?" I ask furiously. She closes her eyes and I wipe away her tears. "Elora?" I call her name. Then slowly, her fingers point at me. What's she trying to say?"What?" I whisper. She opens her eyes."I'm scared of you Rodas," she says. My hands slide away from her face to her shoulders. "What are you talking about?" What's going on in her head?"I'm scared of how far you can go, Rodas... How violent you can be.""Elora... As much as I remember, I have never been violent towards you and for the question of how far I can go. Well, for you... I don't have any boundaries... I will go as far-"She covers my mouth and shakes her head."I don't want it, Rodas... I don't want you to go so far for me. I just want to be loved and that's enough." "But I love you and if I don't do all that for you then... What does it even mean?" I'm doing it all for her. I did everything to make her happy. So, why this disappointment?"Don't kill people anymore..." She mumbles and grabs my jacket, looking at me pleadingly. "Don't fight again... That's enough. Let's live somewhere away from all this chaos"I just stare at her in silence."Rodas, I hate everything here. I hate to see you covered in blood and bruises every day. I hate the environment. Can we please leave?" "Is that what you want?" I just asked her one question. She hesitantly nods. "So are you leaving me?" Her eyes widen as she shakes her head, denying my question. "That's not what I meant -""Elora... I worked so hard for what I have today. And I did everything to give our baby justice. When everything is finally coming to its place... You're talking about leaving. What about the boys? What about their family living under my roof? Once I leave everything... They will be killed one by one in ways you can never imagine. And do you think we will be safe? The moment I decide to live a normal life would be the last day you'll see me alive" I say and let her shoulder go. "Your head must be messed up right now. Sleep for a while" I slightly push her away from the door and open it. But then she throws a dagger into my heart with her words."Then Goodbye Rodas Castillo... This is it between you and me. I'm leaving"
