Jade pov

Adrien did as he said he would. He left coming back with all the people who would fight alongside him in the war. Currently, they all stood huddled together glaring at my pack members who was barely taking them on or not even acknowledging them entirely. They've been like this for ten minutes now.

"Okay!" I spoke up seeing as no one else was going to "Since you're all obviously going to stand there whole day like statues-" they turned their glares to me "- How about we start off with a warm-up training?" I smirked. "Who thinks they can handle me?"

Adrien went to step forward when a girl blocked his path stepping up. She was tall, and her heels added to her height but she still didn't reach me. Her eyes showed how little she thought of me, of us wolves, and how confident she was in herself. To the point, she looked smug and cocky about it.

"I'll fight you. You're not worth my prince's time." She looked me up and down "It's not like you'll beat me anyway." She cockily proclaimed earning cheers and agreements on her side.

"Oh..."Adrien sighed.

I chuckled smirking at her. Nodding I shifted my scent to that of my wolf alone, testing her.

"What do you smell?" She sniffed scowling afterwards

"Tch. Mutt." I growled at her.

"How old are you?"

"Does it matter?"

"As is your pack being here. We can win on our own! With our own strength!"

"Yeah? Then come at me." I stood glaring down at her.

She clicked her tongue speeding towards me. Probably assuming I couldn't keep up or see her she went to tackle my side. Instead, she landed on the floor in front of me. I didn't give her a chance to get back to her feet before I kicked her in her stomach sending her into a tree.

She hit the tree hard leaving her winded but she got up. In turn, I sped to her, landing a solid hit to her face knocking her back onto her ass. She went to get up again so I hit her a few more times ensuring she stayed down

"You can fight on your own...?" I scoffed dragging her back to where we stood before. "What makes you think you can fight on your own!? Wolves and Vampires were created with equal strength! Yet we always won the fight!

We had to, in order to stop you. Blood is your main source of food and your strength and we understood that, but your ancestors took it too far killing for pleasure and just for the hell of it, leaving us no choice but to hunt you down.

Those that weren't stupid were speared, sent to live their lives peacefully but always under watch. Do you like that? Your every move being watched?" They looked away from me

"We haven't done that in years!" One spoke up.

"Good! Then we won't need to keep fighting against each other! Now, we can fight for one another. " They nodded.

"So, what's the plan?" Adrien asked.

"Pair up! One wolf one vampire!"  They did as told "This is a one on one. The winners will stand by Adrien and the defeated by me! Aimed to kill but don't! Ready...?" They waited seeming on edge "Fight!"

~|~|~|~

An hour passed with most of the winners being wolves of my pack and the losses of vampires. After watching how they fought and we're defeated I now know where to start with them.

"Enough!" Everyone still fighting stopped. "Gather round!"

Once everyone stood around me I looked around at them shaking my head.

"I specifically remember being told you all can handle yourselves. Obviously, that person was wrong... Out of the lot of you, three won their matches and everyone else lost. Every one of you would've died in that war. Everyone..." They flinched at my words.

"How would we all die?"

"Cause we fight together, we protect each other too. And when so many have to be protected the attacks lessen and we're defeated."

"Oh..."

"Now I'll show you how you're supposed to fight." I stepped away from them as Danny stepped forward shifting into his wolf.

I straighten up shifting to my new and improved vampire form. My old outfit was gone this time I wore leather pants with chunky ankle boots, a red fitted top with the graphics "BITE ME!" On it showing vampire's teeth and to draw more attention to it, a black leather jacket over it.

I adore this look! I can't wait to see mine!! Ruby gushed. And as much as I wanted to join other things were more important like Danny attacking me first.

He growled rearing before he pounced toward me but I ducked, swerving around him and using my speed to continue evading his onslaught of attacks.

At one point he jumped high allowing for me to catch him and throw him over my head causing him to crash into a tree branch, breaking it as he went down.

You good? I leant to the side checking if he was still conscious since I felt that hit to his head.

I'll live... He growled both internal and externally as his gain the wolf head shook, throwing the leaves and things off his fur.

He ran back to be ready to continue. In the end, we fought each other for thirty minutes more before stopping. Although injured I still stood as if nothing happened as I pet Danny's fluffy head before he shifted.

"What the hell are you..?" One of the clan members stared utter confusion on his face. I smiled at the boy

"You'll find out soon enough." He nodded still confused but now also suspicious of me.

The wind began to blow drawing a scent to me. I turned behind me in time to see Emily crash into the ground creating a small creator.

"Really Em? You've got to work on your landing." I sighed.

In turn, she shrugged before her eyes drifted to someone behind me. Emily smiled dashing past me towards Adrien. I didn't need to turn to know that's who she came for, but I did anyway.

I watched them hug each other closely before they shared a kiss. The amusing thing was watching his clan members stare wide-eyed at them. Looks like they didn't know their prince had found his princess. When they finally broke apart Adrien decided then to announce it.

"Everyone this is Emily, my mate." He smiled through the entire thing. And though he was happy, the reactions weren't a hundred percent, some did seem happy for him though.

At the sound of wings, I looked up seeing angels heading towards us but only one caught my eyes, and I caught hers. She swooped down fast not giving anyone a chance to react as she took me off the ground.

I shook my head, smiling as Jade was swept off her feet. Literally. The other angels landed but kept staring into the sky. Cullen landed beside me watching the sky as well.

"Is...Is what she doing okay? I mean, should we really leave Emma to take this packs luna into the air?" He worried. I chuckled

"She'll be fine. Don't worry just watch."  He nodded hesitantly giving get me a sceptical look.

Though Jade and Emma were high into the air with wind surround them from every angle we could still hear them clearly.

"So you can't visit a friend once, huh?" Emma yelled

"Hey! Not my fault! Luna duties called and I had to train a pack! You can't blame me!"

"Yeah right!! I was put in charge of training the angels. Come better than that!!" I heard Jade sigh alongside me.

"Oh shut up and put me down Emma!"

"...Fine." I could hear the smirk in Emma's voice before she dropped Jade.

Sighing I put my hand up for the angels not to intervene but they gave me fearful looks, some even looked at me as if I was suddenly a fallen angel instead but even Daniel wasn't looking worried.

"Hey! Isn't she your mate?! Aren't you worried about her?!" Cullen asked looked at him.

All Daniel did was smile and point up. Cullen followed his finder looking up again. Gasps went around as everyone, except those that already knew, eyes widened when they saw Jade with white and black wings.

"She, she, she's an angel?! But, but I thought she was a wolf?!" Cullen asked. Emma and Jade landed and Jade gave Emma a punch.

"Little fucker! You forgot I had wings didn't you?" Emma laughed nervously, looking away.

"No...maybe...yeah... I totally forgot you had wings and was hoping you'd scream for me to catch you." She sighed out.

Jade changed back, chuckling.

"Well, I am the next moon goddess what'd you expect?" All the vampires and angels eyes widened

"You're who?!" Adrien, Daniel and I stood next to Jade.

"Everyone meet the moon goddess's daughter Jade." Adrien and I said.

"And my mate. So you better keep your hands to yourselves if you value your life." Daniel smiled welcoming like although his tone was everything but!

Jade chuckled rolling her eyes before she paused. She looked around seeming to sense something we couldn't. Then her eyes landed on Cullen. She walked to him stopping a foot away from him. They stared at one another, saying nothing.

"What do you see..?" Jade asked confusing us all.

Cullen stared confused before he blinked and his gold eyes began to shine. Immediately the confusion left his face

"Life... I see life....all the lives that are connected and..dust..?  Gold dust?" I smiled.

Cullen blinked a couple of times snapping himself out of his own trance. When he looked to me again he bowed.

"It is an honour to be your guardian princess." I rolled my eyes

"The guardian of life huh..? You get to choose who lives or dies with a simple touch them, nice..." I patted him on his back "Now stand up. You don't need to bow to me. I'm not the princess to you. I am simply Jade. Your friend, and protector. I'll have to show you how to use your reawakened powers." He nodded standing tall again.

Another feeling washed over me and I began to search for the source of it. It came from Adrien's clan. I slowly walked through them letting instinct guide me. It leads me to a girl. Long black hair used to cover her glowing blue eyes. She tried to hide from me.

"Don't hide from me." She stopped "Come." Hesitantly she walked to me. She was small and petite but the power coming from her was strong. "Hello."

She smiled keeping her head down as she shyly waved back.

"Hi..." I smiled at her when she looked up causing her to blush which in turn made the wind pick up around us. It was warm.

"What's your name?"

"Anna..." she muttered.

"Well, Anna..." I lifted her chin up so she was looking at me "...it's lovely to meet you, guardian of the elements water and wind." She blushed harder with her eyes glowed brighter upon contact with mine.

Everyone was on a break this way they can all interact and get to know each other better. Strong bonds form stronger alliances.

"How many guardians do you need?" Emma asked.

"Well, I've got three down l, so two to go."

"How are you gonna find them?" Emily added.

"I won't. Not this time. This time... they'll find me."

"And the plans for tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow, I'm gonna go see demons and witches." Daniel came up to me.

"And I'm coming with you." I nodded.

"I knew you would. For today we'll  keep training all who got here." They all nodded.

Ten minutes later we ended the break and training resumed.

?¿?¿? pov

I watched them as they trained together, but I couldn't stop myself from staring. She...she looks just like her.

Well, they are mother and daughter...

"Jade....oh my gem... you're just as beautiful as your mother..." I sighed turning away from them, my black wings carrying me to Erik.

Since I'm under his control, it's an automatic reaction to go straight to him.

I'm sorry my gem...  you're going to have to end me...when all I wish for is a peaceful day with you... a stinging tear left my one eye.

Luckily for me, the wind dried my tears before I reached to Erik to give him a report.

"She's started gathering people." Words flew from my mouth faster than my mind could register in order to not speak.

Erik nodded, smiling to himself with an evil glint in his eyes. One I wanted more than everything to slap off his fucking face.

"You can rest now."He waved me off.

I nodded, bowed and went to my room. I lay on the bed not putting on the light so I can drown in my sorrows in darkness.

"Forgive me, Jade..." I whispered into the nothingness of my room allowing the wind to carry my resentful voice away from my ears as I fell asleep.

Unbeknownst to me, the wind did carry my voice. It blew passed Jade gently, whispering those exact words in her ear, causing her to turn around.

A voice so filled with resentful sorrow and pleading for help. A voice she had heard once before. Yet the familiarity of it confused her.

Just whose voice...did I hear?  Unknown to her she stared off in the direction she was being watched in.
