Daniel pov

I am in the office with my dad, helping him do alpha work since I might be alpha soon. He decided he wanted to retire early so he had began to teach me the ropes of being an alpha and the duties that come with it. He even allowed me act as the alpha from time to time just to see if I'm a bad alpha or what needed to be improved.

Alpha! We found a rogue in our borders. My soon to be beta, Kyle mind linked me. He too was acting as beta for the day and all orders were to come to me for today anyway.

Hearing of the rogue my body went rigid and I instantly had the instict to hunt them down before any harm could come to my pack. I looked up at dad waiting for his order. He raised his eyebrow, nodding toward the door.

"Why are you watching me? I'm not the alpha right now. Get going." I shot up and ran out the office and through the pack house. The moment I was by the front door I quickly tugged my shirt off and shifted into my black wolf.

Make sure that they don't get away! I ordered all the wolves that joined Kyle to stop the rogue.

Alpha the wolf is a she wolf.

I became shocked at the news. Rogue she wolves were rare. It was mainly men that hated being the rank they are in their pack that defected for power. As I got closer to the others a scent hit me. It smelled like strawberry and chocolate mixed with what smelled like... a lilly. My wolf stirred, anticipation and excitement began to roll off him in waves.

Go! Go find mate! As soon as he practically screamed those words my heart sped up and with that my pace picked up too.

I stopped by the others and we all slowly surrounded her, but kept our distance in case she attacked. I stared at her almost getting lost in her beauty before I shook myself out of it and shifted. I tugged on a pair of pants that Kyle threw at me before I began to make my way over to her.

I frowned as she began to sway. My eyes widened as she began falling backward. Alert I ran to her using wolf speed, catching her right before she hit the ground. As soon as our skin touched sparks erupted from our mate bond

"Mate" I mumbled softly as I watched her eyes close. My own heart was beating erratically, worry for my new mate surfacing

I see no injuries, why did she pass out? That thought lingered.

Perhaps she was exhausted from running. She does look tired. My wolf suggested to ease both our worry.

I hummed, brushing some of her hair out of her face smiling at how beautiful she is.

She's not a threat. Let's head back I'll take care of her. I told the others that were still watching us. They all nodded their wolf heads and turned running back to the pack house. Swooping up my mate in my arms I made my way to the pack doctor. He'll know if anything is wrong.

The moment I arrived at the pack hospital I went to the alpha ward and they took her from me. I refused to leave her side, so I promised that I would stay out of their way. When they finished the pack nurse came over to me. She checked over the notes then nodded and smiled up at me.

"She'll be fine. She just need to rest so when she wakes up, don't over work her or cause her too much stress. It looked like she had done just that to herself before she passed out." I nodded in thanks and went into the room she was in when I was given the go ahead.

I sat myself down on the chair beside her bed where she rested peacefully with an IV in her arm to give her some fluid that she lost. I smiled then went onto mind link with dad.

Dad! I found my mate!! I all but yelled in excitement. I heard him chuckle

That's great, son! I can't wait to meet her. Just ensure you're clean when she wakes up though! Don't want her to wake up to her dirt covered mate yeah? I chuckled.

Sure thing dad. I cut the link the smile never leaving my face.

As the night got darker I decided to listen to dad and do as he told me to. I stroked her hair lovingly before I left the hospital and all but ran home to go shower and change from these clothes. I went to my personal house to take a shower instead of heading to the pack house or my parents own. After my shower I had laid on the bed to relax for a bit, instead I  ended up falling asleep.

The sound of my alarm clock blaring loudly in my right ear was what woke me up the next morning. I groaned softly before I willed myself out of bed, took a shower and slipped on some pants and a vest. Now awake I remembered I had my mate that I desperately wanted to see. I quickly shoveled my breakfast down my throat and rushed to the hospital heading straight to the room my mate was in.

Jade pov

What happened? Was the first thought to come to mind as I couldn't remember anything. And... where the hell am I?

Promptly all of yesterdays events replayed in my head giving me a slight headache and waking me up a bit more.

Oh right I got rejected by an asshole, found out I was basically a mix of supernatural beings, and found my second mate. To top it off I passed out... Fantastic.

I groaned at my thoughts. Shifting I began to open my eyes, only to be blinded by the lightblub shining directly into it. I groaned some more. Turning on my side I blink my eyes open so I wasn't looking into light then slowly sat up. I looked around the room wondering where I was until I stopped at a figure sitting by the wall chair. His light brown eyes stared at me intensely, watching my eveyone move. I blinked frowning my eyebrows at him

"What?" He didn't answer. Before anymore could be said his scent hit me. He smelled like lavender and honey. Realization dawned on me.

Oh so he's my mate. I looked away from him frowning as he walked closer to me.

"What's wrong?" He asked softly.

"You're going to reject me." Pain filled me at the mere thought. Being rejected twice by both mates. How unlucky was I...

"Why would I reject you?" He seemed shocked that I even spoke the words. But I didn't get my hopes up.

"Because I'm a freak and you won't want someone like me as your mate." I wasn't even finished when he began to shake his head.

"No, you're wrong. You're beautifully stunning and I dont know you yet but I already know everything I want and need. By the way, I love your eyes." I blushed staring in shock before smiled. A thought decided to dawn on me then making my eyes widened and causing me to gasp.

"Were you the one to shift last night?" He nodded. I gaped at him, my facing turning red

"What the fuck?! What is wrong with you?" It was his turn to be shocked and confused now

"What?"

"You were naked!" His shocked face turned into amusement as he smirked and shrugged

"You were bound to see me naked some time." I shook my head.

He's right. Multiple voices sounded.

Be quiet!

"But, but not so soon! I mean come on! Look at you!" He frowned as I gestured to his body

"What's wrong with me?"

"Nothing! That's what's wrong you're hot! You can't just stand in front of anyone like that!" I rambled only to pause as my mind finally registered what I was saying. My face that had cooled down, burned a brighter red than it had before.

"So, you think I'm hot?" He smiled. Pure joy and amusement dancing in his eyes. I bit my lip looking everywhere but him. "You know. I didn't catch your name." He leaned forward.

"Jade. My name's Jade." He smiled eyes shining more than before.

"I'm Daniel."

"What pack am I in?"

"The Red dawn pack." I nodded letting the information sink in.  "Come on my dad wants to meet you. I got some spare clothes in my house." I nodded and threw the sheet off of me.

As soon as I stood up Daniel flipped me over putting me on his back. A surprised sound left my lips.

"I could walk you know." Not that I was complaining the sparks electrocuting my skin felt nice and his scent was intoxicating.

We went to his house. It was a nice two story house with glass doors and all that other stuff. We walked up the stairs, well...he did. We entered a room that I assumed were his since his scent was all over it. He set me down and I followed him into his walk in closet.

"My mom brought clothes for my mate even though we didn't know what size you were but she refused to listen so when I got my house she brought extra clothes for this occasion." I smiled at the mention of his mom.

"I'll leave you to fix yourself up. Meet me downstairs when you're done." He whispered then kissed my ear sending shivers down my spine.

As he left I picked out some clothes hoping they'll fit. Going into his joined bathroom I found a cupboard with fluffy towels and took one before stripping out of my clothes and taking a nice hot shower. After I wrapped the fluffy towel around me and found an extra toothbrush in his cabinet. I brushed my teeth and hair then changed into the clothes I selected.

A ripped jeans with a white crop top that had the words 'Dope' in gold. I combed my fingers through my hair  making sure I had gotten all the knots out. Slipping on wedge sneakers, that was slightly bigger than my feet but still comfortable, I walked downstairs seeing Daniel patiently waiting for me.

He looked over hearing me enter the room. He looked me up and down as he met me halfway

"Ready?" I nodded and we left.

As soon as we got to the pack house all eyes turned to me and whispers began. Daniel growled at them in warning, shutting them up and making them look away. He took my hand and guided me through the house heading to the alpha floor and entering one of the rooms. A man that looked to in his mid twenties was sitting behind the desk. But his eyes told me he was much older.

He stared, judging me quietly before he leaned forward and onto his hands.

"What's your name? How old are you? What pack were you from? Why'd you leave? And why are your eyes multicolored?" He shot multiple questions at me in one breath causing Daniel to glare at him. I stared a bit shocked myself before I took a deep breath.

"My name's Jade. I'm 15,  16 next week. I was from the Moon pack and I left because I used to get beaten from my dad and pack members because of my eyes. I don't know why my eyes are multicolored but, I like them that way." He nodded satisfied with my answers.

"I am alpha Rogers. But you can call me John. Nice to meet you Jade." I smiled at him.

Can I tell them? There were whispers in the back of my mind before Diamond spoke up.

Tell them. We can trust them. With permission given  I looked at Daniel.

"There's something you should know, both of you." Father and son looked at me.  I fidgeted a bit before I just blurted it out "I'm a hybrid." Their eyes widened.

"How long have you known this? Were you going to keep this information from us? I understand we just met and all but that is crucial information that is a must know. At least to your alpha" John explained eyes still widened.

I sighed "I only found out yesterday before they found me" I said sheepishly. "And I promise I wouldn't have kept this from you for long."

"That's why you passed out?" I nodded at Danny's question.

"Yeah... and all my sides are royalty, which means I could get powers. At least that's what they told me. Nothing will happen until I'm 16 though, so none of us have to worry for a while..."  They nodded, John relaxing at my answers and Danny hugged me leaning close to my ear.

"Nothing you say will make me change my mind about you being my mate. By the way, you look hot." I blushed smiling at his words causing  Daniel to chuckleat me.

"Oh for the love of-! Get out my office and do that somewhere else!" I giggled a bit at John's 'angry' yelling. "And Jade...welcome to the pack... welcome home." John gave me a smile.

I gave a breathless laugh nodding at his words since I didn't know what to say. Thank you wasn't enough for me. Since I was in the pack now and their future luna, I felt the pack link between everyone. This pack is huge.

I wonder... what will the future will hold for me and my new pack and mate. I smiled to myself.

Whatever it is. I'll try hardest to be ready.
