- Three weeks later -
Jade pov
I drank water, more like I was drowning bottles of water after finishing training with my guardians and Danny. When the witches joined us it turned out one of them was Jayson's mate.
She was beautiful with purple eyes and long thick black hair that brought out her eyes making the colour pop. She was also soft-spoken and very kind. They were smitten with each other not taking their off of the other. So much so they already mated and marked the other. Some thought it was too fast and they should have waited until the third month but I didn't care. My brother finally got the happiness he deserved and I could see that she would make him very happy.
When everyone gathered I showed them to Safira. They all freaked out, and when she shifted to human most fainted. It was quite the spectacle. Safira in human form had green hair and electric green eyes, which I assumed represented her scales from her dragon form. She was a little shorter than me and was skinnier as well but she could definitely out eat me.
Lately, I've been having morning sickness and eating weird things. It started last week and to be honest, it's annoying. Especially when I wake up in the middle of the night to vomit everything that I've eaten for the day, or when I can't stand the scent of some of my favorite foods. The cravings are a bit..weird. Chocolate with cheese, specifically, mozzarella sticks.
I don't mind that much as it actually tastes good but Danny stares at me weirdly when I do eat it. And I absolutely despise pickles but I'm constantly eating it now as if I can't live without it a day I drank the water too. I think I worried Danny with that one.
Currently, I'm lying down in our room, watching a horror movie. After training, I get worn out faster than I'd like so Danny sent me off to rest. I blinked and I was laying on a field of flowers staring up at the moon instead of watching the tv.
Mom appeared beside me and we relaxed for a moment before she sat up. She didn't say anything at first simply opting to stare at me before a smile formed on her face.
"I'm happy for you sweetheart." She smiled more. I was confused.
"For what?" I asked but she continued to just smile at me.
"You're glowing..." she gushed "I can already see it! You're going to be a wonderful mother." Her smile softened while I stared blankly up at her before her words registered in my mind.
Her words hit me as if someone smacked me in the back of my head with a large tree branch. My eyes widened and I shot up
"I'm pregnant?!" I laughed in disbelief but excitement and happiness coursed through me.
"Well after you and Daniel going at it like that, without protection, I would expect you to get pregnant."
"Mom!" She shrugged.
I shifted placing my hand on my stomach and closed my eyes, concentrating. It took a few silent moments before I faintly heard it. Two soft heartbeats sounded from within me going a bit faster than mine. Smiling softly I teared up, already falling in love with them.
"I'm having twins! Haha! I'm having twins!" I laughed making mom smile more chuckling at me.
"Ensure you get lots of rest." She placed her hand on my stomach "This should- oh?"
"What?" Mom chuckled placing her soft hands on my face.
"I was going to place a protection spell around your stomach, but looks like someone best me to it." She gave me a knowing smile, then she frowned.
"You must be careful. I know you feel it, that shift, they're coming. And sooner than we would like." I sighed the one downfall to getting pregnant now. The war...
"I am strong enough to protect my children. But I shall take precautions. We will make it." Mother placed her forehead onto mine.
"I am sure you will. Rest now, daughter..."Â She pulled back kissing my forehead. I closed my eyes accepting the warmth I received before falling asleep.

Daniel pov
I entered my room seeing Jade sound asleep and the tv on playing an advertisement. I smiled taking the tv off as I climbed into bed next to her. I lifted her top placing my hand on her baby bump.
She's growing fast... I noted starting to rub it.
Think she figured it out yet? Dean chuckled.
She should have noticed by now...
Well, with everything I'm not that surprised she hadn't noticed she was pregnant. Noel hummed. I agreed.
Our mate is busy. At least she's getting some rest. I thought double-checking the protection spell I placed on her. It was still there.
My mate and my pups. I am rather happy with that thought. I laid my head gently on her stomach and whispered to them.
"I can't wait to meet you... I hope you don't give mommy too much trouble, cause I sure did." I chuckled kissing her stomach.
Just as I rose up Jade bolted awake gasping for breath. I rushed back to her worrying
"Jade? Jade talk to me what is it?" She didn't answer "Baby talk to me!" She gripped onto my arm her eyes shining the brightest it has even shone.
"They're here..." She looked at me as I bristled.
Alpha! Kyle linked to me at that moment.
We know on our way. I responded looking out the window.
I looked back at Jade as she stood power flowing from us in massive waves.
"We're about to be on the front lines no matter what. You better be safe." She looked at me her eyes showing nothing but care.
Jade took my hand placing it on her stomach. I sighed feeling a short moment of peace as I heard the heartbeats of my children.
"Don't worry...we will be safe. But that goes for you too. If you die I'll bring you back myself and kill you again!" I chuckled.
"When did you know anyway?" She slowly began to change her golden locks turning silver.
"The moment your scent changed." She nodded.
I shifted also, growing in power as I felt something crack and break within me. We teleported to the field entering the middle of the chaos. Demons were being taken down by other demons, with angles helping.
Witches were being taken out by wolves and wolves were taken out by witches. I growled notifying both sides of my arrival. First I roared out green flames, taking out a few wolves and turning them to ashes. A demon hissed at me so I snarled back running towards it. We met halfway and I shifted taking its head with me
Immediately after I attacked a wolf, we fought and his assumed pack mates came to team up against my much larger wolf. They still lost. I ran further into the chaos, jumping behind Kyle to take out the wolf sneaking up on him. I dragged an injured witch behind me to get healed by an angel while I attacked anything that tried getting passed me to the injured.
Safira chose to fight this battle in human form. Which was a better idea she was an easier target to take down if she remained in dragon form. She was skilled in fighting with daggers for being alive for only a month. From the power coming off her, I could tell Jade was supplying her with it.
I looked around for my mate seeing Hm that she also held daggers in her clawed hand. I kept watching her at that moment watching her stab a wolf with one dagger m, use her claws to rip the jaw off another, take back the first dagger that was embedded in the first wolf so she can stab them both into the heart of a demon.
Its wings blocked her from my vision for a moment before I saw it get thrown into three other wolves who got cremated by Safira. Jayson and Anna jumped in front of Jade where they used tree roots as Spears to clear a path in front of her.
I shifted to my vampire form speeding through a line of warlocks thinking they could sneak passed me.
"Defend the houses! Witches and warlocks cast your spells! Angels and wolves defend them and demons you are too sure they won't fall! Healer retreat to the closest protected houses and begin to heal! Do not! Let them get their hands on the children or take us down! We will and we shall win!" I roared out in a new more powerful alpha tone.
It worked though as the ground rumbled with cheers on our side and everyone shifted to my orders to prevent as many casualties on my side.
"Safira!!" I called out causing her to turn and almost burn me.
"Sorry!"
"The roof!" She titled her head "Get into the roof! More grounds to fire and protect us at!" She nodded running off and using the enemies' heads as stepping tools to get there, break their necks in the process.
I turned only for a blast to sound behind me propelling me forward. I hit my head on the rock causing my head to spin for a moment. A buzz like feeling went through me making me shot up. I felt it, the protection I placed on Jade had cracked.
I searched the field for her. Everyone on both sides was on the floor but the fight started back in no time. I pushed and stabbed things out of my way as I headed for the last place Jade was. Instead in her place were scorched marks and no sign of her stepping anyway else.
"Jade!!" I spun heart racing as I looked for my mate. "JADDE!!"
Jade pov
-Moments earlier-
"Keep them from coming to me," I told Anna Nanda Jayson when I caught sight of Erik.
"Be careful!" Jayson warned right before u took off.
Right before I reached Erik a man appeared before me throwing me back. I skidded on the floor Colin coming behind me to stop me.
"Thanks."
"Always." He flapped his wings sending wolves flying back from us, then he went after a demon.
I stood up seeing the man from before blocking me from getting to Erik. I clicked my tongue annoyed as I stalked closer to him. However, the closer I got the more I could see the horror and despair on his face. When I was a few steps from him he Bagan to sob.
"Please..."His voice cracked "...kill me." I blinked rapidly a few times confused.
"What?"
He's asking for death? Diamond was more confused than I was.
"I cannot bare to hurt you anymore... so please, I beg of you, end me!"
Still confused I could only stare at the winged man before me. He looked familiar though but from where..? A broken feeling passed through me but it wasn't any of mine or Danny's.
Drakon. I gasped hearing moms broken tone
"Drakon!?" Realization dawned on me "Dad!?" Hearing me say that seemed to break him more as he full-on cried.
"I can't stop my actions, Jade." He began as his claws grew and he lunged at me "Quickly!!" He aimed for my throat, I jumped back kneeling so I can kick his foot out from under him. "Kill me!"
He jumped up staying on all fours to stalk me for a few moments before he pounced. I stepped to the side kicking him in his ribs as I sent him into a tree. I stared at him wondering what to do when I saw it and knew what had to be done.
I know what to do, how long?
A minute tops. Diamond replied.
"Do you love my mother?"
"Always..." a faint smile appeared disappeared instantly after as he picked up a wolf and threw it at me.
I caught her placing her behind me letting her under off. I looked up only to be punched in my face. We exchanged blows with me headbutting him then kicking him back leaving him stunned for a moment.
"Do you love me?"
"There is no doubt." He spat black blood from his mouth. Erik faced us staring.
"Those questions were pointless. Him telling of his love will not stop his actions." He gave me a mocking smile. I returned it.
"Obviously." He glared.
"How much do you love us?"
"With my life. And if I could right now, I'd give it again." Drakon stood up standing in place.
Now!
Before he could move, I was in front of him. I thrust my hand forward hitting him where his heart was. A blade made of light pierced through him creaking cracks growing from where it stabbed him.
"What...?"
"What can darkness never stand?" I asked.
"Light..." more cracks with light seeping through it appeared on Drakon's face he sighed blood going from black to its normal colour. He smiled accepting his death.
"At least I know what you look like.."
"Yes, and you. Definitely got your mother's beauty..." he gently stroked my face.
"Noo!!" Erik started towards us drawing a dark blade from his palms.
"I love you.." I told him. Drakon beamed
"And I love you, much more..." His eyes closed and he began to shine at that moment where everything seemed to be going in slow motion I broke Erik's dark dagger and grabbed onto him teleport ingredients us elsewhere as the mini-explosion happened back at my pack grounds.

That was three hours ago. I lay behind a tree panting in exhaustion. If it wasn't for the fact that I was being bathed in the moonlight I'd have fallen by now.
"How long do you plan to keep me trapped here?" Erik yelled through the trees, again.
"Until reason punches you in your fucking face!" I answered then moved from my hiding spot instantly.
A moment later Erik cut the tree I was hiding behind. Seeing me not there he screamed into the sky filled with rage.
"Accept your death already!!" He spun in a circle throwing a blast here and there "Why can't I smell you..?" He growled.
The reason was that I surrounded the place in mist. I killed a few plants with strong scents to mask our scents. The mist is what let me know where Erik stood or when he moved closer to where I was.
"Would you accept death with open arms?"
"Of course not!"
"Then why would I dumbass!?" In anger, he threw a blast in my general direction. I silently shifted away from being hit jumping and quickly scaling the tree.
"Show yourself!!"
"If I do can we talk?"
"No!" When his back was to me I jumped off the branch landing on his knee first so it'd dog into him when I crushed him to the floor.
He chocked.
"Why do you hate me so much? No not me...us, why do you hate us?" With a growl, he struggled to his feet throwing me off.
He placed his foot on my chest and tree roots with sharpened edges were in my eyesight.
"Because you took what was rightfully mine." He glared moving his foot to cut my oxygen. "I was supposed to be the first moon god, but she took it!" He moved to attack.
I hit the ground sending earth flying into the air and his eyes. As soon as he looked away I teleported out of his hold, not fast enough though since he managed to make a hole in my shoulder, at least it wasn't too deep. I burnt it shut.
"Where did you run off to!?" Erik yelled. I looked back at him seeing him constantly rubbing at his eyes. I looked back in front of me placing a hand on my stomach. I placed my hand under my top feeling the warmth.
Bare with mommy a little long babies, we'll be finished soon. I sighed my body relaxing for a moment before I remembered where I was.
"What do you mean we took what was rightfully yours?" He stopped moving.
"I am a year older than your mother. I had more power, more strength, was great in everything I did! Yet...she was the favored one... she got the praise, she got the attention, she got everything!" He blasted the plant beside me covering me in the dirt.
"Everything?"
"EVERYTHING!!! Even the title of the moon goddess." I don't know how but he found me and he held me up by my neck.
"Wouldn't...wouldn't there be a reason for that..?" I choked out bending his hand off my neck.
We were both exhausted from fighting our power was waning we needed rest but neither of us stopped. Panting Erik tripped over a tree root, struggling to get back to his feet. I took slid back down the tree hands over my stomach as I subtly repaired Danny's protection spell.
"You've never thought of the reasons for your title being taken have you?" I asked softly earning a dark glare.
"What reason could there possibly be!? That I wasn't ready? That I didn't deserve it? That I wasn't nearly as fucking perfect as my dear little sister!"
"That you were a guardian," I added on making him freeze.
"Impossible. She had her guardians!" He made it to his feet but I blasted him right back off of it. "Fuck!" And over the root, he went again. I snorted.
So not the time for that!
"Even with so many guardians you said you were the older one, did it ever occur to you that she saw you as just that her guardian? Which meant with a title already given to you..." I trailed off hoping he'd see where I was coming from.
"The title I inherited would have to be passed on..." Erik gasped out dropping himself onto his ass cause he had stood when realization dawned on him.
"Maybe you secretly hated mom for all the attention, but you had loved her so much back then that you subconsciously used all your powers to protect her from harm. So much so, you became her guardian and the first one too." Erik looked shell shocked.
His soul was probably escaping from his gaping mouth.
"She's not lying..." Mom appeared a little before me snapping Erik from his trance.
"You..." he sent a blast her way but it went through her hitting me.
"Ah!" I hunched over withering from the pain as the protection around me shattered. I immediately checked to make sure my pups were safe they were.
"Brother, please! I am not here! You cannot hurt me, and don't hurt her either." Mom pleaded but Erik's eyes stayed on me.
I panted sitting back up.
"You're pregnant..." he noted. I gave him a look of disbelief.
"How the fuck are you now noticing?" I breathed out shifting into a more comfortable position where I'd still be ready if he blasted shit at me again.
"You hid it well." What kind of answer...?
"No...I protect well..." he raised an eyebrow at me nodding slowly
"I suppose...but you definitely don't fight like you're pregnant and already showing no less." He scoffed.
"There's a way to fight when pregnant?" My eyebrows shot up but then I shook my head "It doesn't matter, if I hadn't fought you'd have killed everyone to get to me anyway and as I said, I protect."
"Tch." He looked back at mom scowling.
"Have you come here to mock me?"
"No, to clarify. And apologize."
"It's don't want you fucking pity!!"
"There is none, only sorrow." Mom swallowed taking a shaky breath "The first time I remember claiming you as my guardian I was four. I wholeheartedly believed you were one and you never told me I was wrong nor did your actions say otherwise."
"Because of this mother and father had no choice but to give me the moon title. I knew you were looking forward to being the first-ever moon god, and I was too. But when I was called instead of you, I didn't know what to do. And you left so quickly you didn't let me explain." Mom was crying now.
"I searched for you myself for years neglecting my title. The last thing I found of you made me believe you dead. In sorrow, I accepted the title hoping to do you proud. When you appeared all those years ago I was so happy, then so terrified as you tried to kill me. With no reasons and no answers as to why."
"You held such anger towards everyone that you took it without any form of the truth Erik." I sighed "You're wrong for that." I pointed at him.
"I'm so sorry..." Mom dropped to her knees before her brother her silver tears actually staining the grass "I've caused you so much pain. I didn't mean to hurt you brother I swear!" She cried.
Erik reached forward once more this time he was able to touch mom. He gave a sad smile
"I am...I am sorry too..." I could see it again, a light faintly beginning to glow around him instead of dark mist. He then looked to me.
"I guess I have been an asshole and plotting all this for nothing."
"You guess?" I sarcastically answered earning a chuckle.
"Forgive me, Jade... Everything will be called off once I'm dead. Everyone on my side is dead already from the moment they pleaded to me, killing me shall stop them." He struggled to his feet barely standing still.
I followed with a bit more strength.
"I don't need to kill you. You're already dead." Erik gave me a lost puppy face. Snorting I walked up to him then through him and mom.
"The moment you were able to touch mom you died, returning to where you should have been so long ago." He was astonished. "That doesn't mean you're free yet, your in for some serious punishment for throwing a century-year-old fucking tantrum." I rolled my eyes.
"I deserve that."
"Yes, you do...." I waved both uncle and mother goodbye as with the last of my gathered energy not going to the twins, I teleported home.

I appeared a bit away from where I disappeared seeing the war over and everyone cleaning up. The moment I took a step in fell. Luckily I didn't hit the ground I was caught.
"Danny..."
"Baby! Thank God! Are you okay? You're bleeding! The pups! Are they okay? Are you all safe?! My protection broke! Tell me there's nothing wrong!" He whimpered holding me tight.
"I would, but you're not giving me a moment to answer."
"I'm sorry... I thought- I thought I lost you..." he choked up crying. I leaned into Daniel.
"I'm sorry, but I've only been gone for three hours." Danny pulled back looking at me like I wasn't his mate anymore.
"You've been gone for three days Jade..."
"WHAT?" I stared back at him now "It was only three hours when I teleported where the fuck did I go!?"
"You're supposed to be telling me that! You left me!" He pulled me back to him. "You're not doing that shit again!"
"I won't...it's too tiring...but your protection worked. Got a little bruised and drained but we were safe." Danny sighed resting his hand on my stomach.
"I'm thankful for that..." he kissed my head "Rest, you all need it."
"But I'm hungry..." he stood lifting me in his arms.
"I'll clean you up and you have to rest first then I'll feed you anything you want."
"But I.. want...food..." I trailed off falling asleep.

Yay Jade's having twins! And I completely fixed the war.
Now it has more details instead of being a five minute war.
Also where'd Jade go that three hours by her was three days!? Jeez girl! Pregnant women ain't supposed to be traveling!!
Ay least it's over. Thank god!
