Jade pov
|~Dream ~|
I stood in a meadow, it's night and the moon was shining brightly being my only source of light. Even so, everything around me seemed to glow in the moonlight shining with a silver hue under it. A figure caught my attention making me turn to see a woman walking deeper into the forest.
My instincts told me to follow after her so I did. As I got closer I began to see her more clearly. She had long brown hair. Her hair was so long it was going as far as almost touching the floor, but that was all I could see. She stopped walking in a clearing the moon shining light directly onto her. I stopped under the covers of the trees watching her closely.
"Hello Jade..." her voice rang out softly and smooth like a lullaby. It was calming.
"Who are you?" I asked stepping out to get closer to her. She turned smiling softly down at me.
"I'm the moon goddess." I stared my mouth going into an 'o'. I didn't know how to react to that. Before I could register anything she engulfed me in a hug. "Oh how I've missed you..." she held me tightly as if not wanting to let go.
Although highly confused, I hugged her back. She gave off this warmth that felt so much like a mother's own. Finally we pulled away and I stared into her eyes questions swimming in mine.
"What do you mean you've missed me?" Her eyes saddened. Her soft hands held a strand of my hair tucking a piece behind my ear.
"You don't remember but... I'm your mother..." My eyes widened and my breath left me.
"What? H, How?" She gave me a saddened smile as she placed her thumb on my forehead. In a flash of light I stood in a field of flowers a little girl in front of me.
I recognized myself immediately. I was about two, my hair reaching my ankles laid out on the grass is sat in picking flowers. A woman walked up to me and two year old me immediately turned to face her a smile lighting up my face.
"Mamma! Mamma look!" I cheered holding up a bunch of flowers to her smiling widely. Smiling she took them from me kissing my forehead.
"They're beautiful. Thank you." I beamed happily at her words. Eyes shone reflecting the sunlight that shined down on us making my multicolored eyes stand out.
Out of the shadows from the forest wolves appeared growling at us. They were rapid, eyes fully black no pupils to be seen. The scene changed and we were running. I was in mother's arms. She stopped for a moment to use a tree to hold the wolves coming after us.
"Mamma...I'm scared..." I whimpered in her shoulder as she started running again.
"Shh, it's going to be alright.." she kissed my forehead before pulling back and staring deep into my eyes "take care of her, Safire." I watched as my younger self eyes shifted to silver before going back to normal.
"Be safe, darling.." With one last kiss a silver glow surrounded us both and we disappeared. I reappeared in the Moon pack, but mom...Oscar nowhere to be seen.
Blinking I found myself back in the forest with the moon goddess, or well my mother. She gazed at me eyes glowing as she shifted left to right, searching for any recognition from mine. I held her hands.
"Mom...you have no idea how much I've missed you." Her eyes light up tears gathering in them but none fell.
"I know..." her smile fell "Listen to me Jade. The person who came after us-" She took a deep breath shaking her head slightly "- is your uncle. My brother."
"What!?"
"He was jealous! I had the powers and the title he wanted, so he used the ones he had for evil." Her eyes closed in pain she looked away from me "You've inherited my powers, so now he's after you."
"Oh you've got to be kidding me..." I sighed.
"Your powers and your true form, it'll awaken fully when you feel the most helpless. When you can't heal yourself, or a person you care about. Only then will you be able to heal both them and yourself."
"How can I see you again."
"We can't meet in person. But in your dreams, you can summon me in your dreams. I'll always be here..."Â I nodded accepting one last kiss before we pulled away.
"Bye, mom..."
|~ Dream End~|

My eyes snapped opened as I shot up from the bed. Sighing from the dream I checked the time. 4:30 am. I groaned dropping back onto the bed but knowing I won't fall asleep again. With another sigh I got up off the bed to get myself ready to train.
I'm sorry...for not telling you... Safire whimpered
It's fine. I know you were only doing as told. Protecting me. Relief washed over me but it definitely wasn't mine. I chuckled shaking my head at my girls.
Look at that! Your hair got longer! Moonlight favours you a lot! Looking in the mirror I saw my hair now reaching my lower back. It was above my waist before. Shrugging I placed my hair in a high ponytail heading downstairs. Katelyn was already there eating breakfast.
"Ready? Let's go!" Sighing she stood up and we headed outside. "Alright! Let's start shall we." I smirked.
Katelyn ran at me aiming to punch me in my face. I ducked, punching her in her ribs making her double over. As soon as she did I punched her in her face sending her to the ground.
"Up!" I growled. Growling back she stood up running to try and tackle me.
I moved out of the way causing her to skid passed me. She stood up again running and aiming a punch to my temple. I side stepped kicking her in her ribs one again, in the same spot. She rolled away from me getting up to try again.
A few more punches kicks and dodges later she landed a blow on me that sent us both falling back. I quickly stood up whipping my hair behind me fast to get it out of my line of sight.
"Good. You're getting better." We stood up "Training grounds. We're going to go through the obstacle course." We headed over.
The first thing Katelyn had to do was balance. Then she had to climb, duck, jump, crawl, and pull herself up using rope to make it to the other side. Watching her arms tremble beneath her own weight is amusing to say the least. The amount of times she fell.
"You need to strengthen those arms. Push ups and pulls ups should so it." I nodded that last part more to myself than her.
"You think you're so much better than me huh!?" She snapped "Try getting up here yourself and see!" She glared down at me. I smirked.
Challenge accepted.
I shrugged my shirt off leaving me in my sports bra and shorts as I headed to the start. I stretched a bit showing off the six pack and hourglass figure I have. I wasn't muscular like the boys but I still had my strength. Katelyn became real quiet as I began making my way across the course, easily balancing, lifting myself up, crawling dodging. All things she struggled with.
The boys paused to watch as I easily made it through a course they struggled greatly with. I easily passed Katelyn smirking.
"Well, keep up!" I laughed continuing on the course. I finished within five minutes waiting another five for Katelyn to finish hers.
"Damn you...how can you, do that so easily!?" She wheezed.
"What? You think I did nothing for two years? That I got good overnight? In my pack we got up early everyday, and everyone would train. Everyone. Whether they want to or not. Each day was something different and every month, the course changed. When you think you're getting comfortable, don't. They make it harder." Katelyn stared at me in awe.
"Now your wolf. It's time to train her. From here on out after you go through the course, we'll train your wolf.
Danny. It's time I shift. I linked to Danny waiting for him to answer.
Wait till I'm there. We're heading back now anyway. I listened, waiting for him.
"I'm here." I turned seeing Danny and a beaten Aron coming towards us.
"You smell awful." I stared at Aron scrunching up my face. I turned back to Katelyn. "Shift."
She shifted into her wolf. She's a light brown wolf and rather small too. But she can be fast. Taking a breath I started to shift as well. My body heated, cracks went through me as my bones began to shift as well. I growled at I finished my shift standing tall over Katelyn. I stretched out shaking my fur.
It's been a while... Safire purred.
"JADE'S THE SILVER WOLF!?"

Aron pov
I gaped the words out my mouth before my mind could register. The silver eyes of the wolf before me rolled as she looked away back at Katelyn's tiny brown wolf compare to hers. Hell she was bigger than mine! Human and wolf!!
Daniel growled at me glaring also. I opted to ignore him watching Jade dominate the fight between her and Kate.
"Why are they fighting?" I questioned. Daniel sighed
"Why do you think? It's part of training Katelyn to be a luna. Teaching her to fight as a wolf is essential for a luna. It comes in handy when a alpha isn't around."
I sat down watching as Jade ended the fight with barely any scratches on her at all. By this time it was sunrise and Kate looked like she couldn't get up. Jade shifted back with her clothes on she left coming back with clothes for Kate, who left to change and came back limping and very much in pain.
"You did great" Daniel stood pulling Jade to him.
"Hey uh.. how does she know about luna training?" I asked.
You're slow. Human.
"Remember when I told you I already have my mate and luna for my pack?" I nodded and he turned to bury his face in Jade's neck making me uncomfortable "You're looking at her." He smirked pride in his eyes.
Shock went through my system again. I stood watching them like a deer caught in headlight. My heart thumped loudly in my ears as the world began to spin. I was just delivered a finishing blow to my heart and left feeling hollow.
Realization dawned on me as I remembered all the times they were close to each other. They never hid it. I only wanted to hide the truth from myself, but Jade was right. Since Ron let go our bond had been shattered it was only me holding on.
I let go and I immediately felt our connection disappear completely. I turned leaving them there as I balled my fist in anger. Completely oblivious to the nearby demon feeding off of me to get itself stronger.
