Eleanor's POV,This couldn't be happening. It's a nightmare!It has to be..."Why did you do that? Why did you ruin my life?", I fell on my knees with tears flooding out of my eyes."Who the hell is she?", the voice echoed across the room."Isn't she your ex?", asked the guy in front of me while I breathed lowly."She's not-. She's not her.", taking alternative glances at me, they seemed to be terrified."You have kidnapped the wrong bride!"The bride...(17 hours ago)"My love...my love...my love!", my man, with a bouquet crawled into the hotel's room through the window."What are you doing here Shawn?!", I asked with my widened eyes.He threw the bouquet onto the couch beside us and walked towards me with his forest-green orbs not leaving a moment of admiring me.His hands reached the rim of my shoulder. With his hands frozen, I knew he was as nervous as I was at the moment.He stared at me with a pure gaze of love while I returned a smile. To let the moment live."Ela, sweetheart. It's time to leave!"Mom was calling me."Oops. They shouldn't see you here.", I rubbed his palm.But he remained indolent, caressing my right cheek. "Go now!", I pushed him, "We have the rest of our lives to be lost in each other."Shawn, with whom I see my future with, is going to be my life partner today. I have been in dreamy world sailing in happiness ever since I met him. His curly hair, his winks, his little gestures of mischief has dissolved me wholly in his love."It's finally happening.", he ran back to me, pecking my forehead."This is the last time I'm seeing my girlfriend.", he winked at me."Well, I will make sure, you forget her. I give you my word, you will.", I hugged him.Kissing my head again, he sprang out of the window.I sighed feeling charmed to have him in my life."Shall we go?", mum stood at the door frame.I nodded."So, he bought my princess a bouquet and a present before anyone.", dad smiled."How do you know he was here-""That guy is so madly in love with you.""We knew that it was him way before you had realized.", Mom laughed crossing her arm with mine.I looked down, quoting, "Yeah. Yeah. I'm not blushing.""Oh. Our baby is born red.", mom and dad said in chorus.After an hour, we had arrived at the destination.My makeup artist, the designer and everyone were there to get me prepped. I looked at my wedding gown that had pearls embedded with it across the neckline. It had four layers of frills interlaced.All I wanted was to be merged in pearls. So did my earrings and my head crown. Themed in pearls!When I wore it, it felt like I was floating in air. My heart kept pounding with every minute passing by. Barely smiling at my reflection as my hair was being curled.With a peach gloss stroke over my lips, I was done.I looked at my ring finger and kissed it, eager to see Shawn's reaction seeing me.I imagined him in the tuxedo that both of us had chosen together.Ofcourse, we fought a lot before picking the right one.Dad arrived in his epic wedding tuxedo looking as dashing he has always been. He wasn't emotional. Rather he was happy and excited that I had found the love of my life.My dad believed in Shawn more than I do, I guess."Oh, my lil princess.", came Shawn's dad, Mr. Gwen."Can't believe our kids are marrying, Norberg.", he added.Yes, he was more emotional than my dad today."They are gonna lead a life of their own's now.""Cut the drama, you guys. These two are going no-where.", mum said, and everyone broke into laugh.The only person missing here was Shawn's mother.I hope she makes it to the reception at least.My hands were trembling, and I don't know why a weird feeling was growing inside me.All brides feel it, Ela. A new chapter of your life.I grabbed the chair's handle to balance myself.Uncle was quick to observe it.Before he could ask, there was an announcement made.Dad crossed his arm with mine.It was the time to walk down the aisle.With my ears heating up, we made a turn to enter the hall.The sight was hazy.But when my eyes found him, everything fell into place. Nobody existed anymore, except us.His breath had ceased seeing me and his eyebrows were twitching like he had lost the control over himself.He stood there with his charming smile, awaiting me to join his hand as I paced towards the platform.Shawn forwarded a hand and that's when I realized I was already placed in front of him.Dad released me, kissing my head.I looked at my soon-to be hubby as a lone tear rolled down my cheek.'I love you.', he lip-synched.Before I could join his hand with mine, the lights went off.Everything went black. There were no traces of voice either.All I was accompanied was the gushing sound of a breeze. Were they planning for a stupid surprise? "Shawn-?"A cold voice reached out to my ears,"Shhh!"
