Ela's POV,I'm performing for women's wellfair event being held by my office. I have invited my parents, my friends to watch my dance. It's been years being on a stage.Yep. Finally. I saw the pole getting fixed on corner of a stage as my practice starts today.I hurriedly completed my work and got here. As it is a woman-oriented show, from tiny girls to grandmas had occupied stage for practicing.To beat this cold weather, the dance could be your best partner.I had learnt pole dance when I was a teen. This dance is all about balance and flexibility.To revise and test my hold, I started with basics.Damn. I kept slipping off the pole. Barely could keep my legs steady.So I literally had to start from beginning. I kinda let myself down. So I sat on the stairs watching others dance.A girl who seemed to be a teen held my shoulder. "These events are for you to recall and regain your strengths. Don't give up.", she smiled.I saw her limping with one of her artificial leg. She managed to dance in grace and I applauded loudly after her performance cheering her up.Everyone followed me and clapped for her. She smiled and nodded at me.I got back to my pole. I wore gloves and began to grip the pole firmly.Soon, I started to swirl around the pole with my foot still on ground.As the days passed, I learnt to steady my grip and balance my weight.There were tough moments for me. I hurted my toes, my knees cramped, my palms had turned rough.It was almost 11 at night when everyone had left. I was practicing, determined to complete the youtube tutorial I was learning from.I started playing the video and followed the choreographer's steps.Amazingly I completed it without falling down from pole, this time.I started to dance by hoping over floor like a kid. Yahoooo!"Monkey jumping is a part of your dance?"I was facing the backstage when I heard his voice echo.I turned to see him seated on a chair. He was in a casual attire and a denim jacket."Since when are you here?He came near the stage and whispered, "I don't know either."I got down from the platform."Hey. Continue.", he looked at me."My goofy dance is a sign that I'm done for the day."He chuckled."Where is Sam?"I had called Kylen and Sam to watch me practice today. Kylen held his waist, "That fool is busy in seeing someone."We got into the lift."Sam is seeing someone?!""Yeah. He says got the right girl, this time.", Kylen snorted, "But he will be here tomorrow."I saw my office floor locked."What happened?", Kylen looked at me."Um. I thought of changing my dress. Seems like I cant use the washroom as this floor is locked.""Aren't there any trial rooms in the hall?"I looked at him, "There is one old-creepy room. The only problem is the door doesn't shut. Someone has to hold it from outside.""I will.", Kylen shrugged his shoulders."Can I trust you?", I teased him.Stepping towards me, he smirked, "I'm pretty sure you know the answer better than me."I shivered at his voice resonating with his eyes observing my facial expression.He definitely loved my reactions and continued to get closer to me.I gulped down and moved quickly into that tiny dark room.Kylen grabbed the door and gripped it from outside while I smiled.I changed to my office wear quickly. A flared pants with a white frilled top and a long jacket.I used my refreshing wet wipes to clean my face. Naah, not in mood to do anything else. Leaving my wavy hair open, I was set to go back home. "I'm done!", I said pulling the knob.Kylen freed it from outside and I got out."Thanks.", I said checking if I had left anything behind.Playing with my side bangs, I turned to see Kylen's oogling at me as like he had never seen me before.And it was making me nervous and happy at the same time."All good?", I snapped my fingers, moving aside.He nodded gradually, "This is what you wear to office?""Yeah. Why?" He didn't reply and we exited the building."I'm hungry.", I pouted."What do you wanna have?", he raised a brow at me.I grinned, "There is a roll point nearby. The best rolls ever! You will love it.""No. I'm full-"Dragging him by his hand, I ordered for both of us.Kylen swiped the card."No no. I'm paying.", I took out his card.I had almost inserted my card when Kylen grabbed the swiping machine up in air.I was Jumping to catch it while he was playing with me.The owner patiently waited for our nuisance to end!I held my waist, "Fine. I'll let you pay on one condition.""I'm listening.""You have to answer to my questions honestly with no twists and tricks played.", I focused my sight on him.He looked around, taking some time."Alright. What do you want to know?"A smile lingered on my face. I'm gonna delve into Kylen Leighton's life today!
