Ela's POV,"I'M DEAD!!""What's going on Kat?", Rick came out with an alerted voice.Kylen and I chuckled while Kat was being crazy pants right now."A lot has changed overnight honey.", Kat winked at Rick.Rick was baffled for a second before his face relaxed, "Oh."She came in-between us and shoved Kylen's hands away from me."Eleanor, unlock your damn door now.", she ordered me."Besties' Emergeny talk time!""And Rick, take this humbug with you.""Did you just call me as a humbug?!", Kylen blinked.I hurriedly unlocked the door as Kat was aiming me with her hand shaped as a rifle."Kattsy, calm down.", I grinned getting inside."SHUT UP!", she locked the door."But-"Passing a glare at me, "How dare you not tell me and make me wait until now!""I-""Don't talk.", she made a puffed-up face.I kept a finger on my lips like an obedient kid.She sighed, "If you don't talk, who will spill the tea to me, dumbo!"Giving me tickles, she teased, "What magic happened after Rick and I left?! How the hell did it happen. There is a tourist spot, called as 'The Adventure of the Hills'.Sam is missing all of it as he has returned to his town to take care of office. Kylen has shared about us to him itseems but Sam is way too busy to join us.Covered in our thermal wears, we were ready for the day. "Oh lord! We are finally walking like couples, aren't we?!", Kat screamed.Kylen and I had crossed our arms walking, same were Kat and Rick."Just wait and see, another couple will be joining us soon.", Kylen smiled.Oh. Sam and his girlfriend!"Can't wait."We started with the snow war. Kat and I were a team against the boys. Smashing each other's face with snowballs was kinda therapy!We built snowman. Ofcourse it was more like a snow monster with no shape and no perfection. A passing by kid, pointed in our direction, "Look someone has made snowpoop."And all of us were offended! "That is a snowman, buddy.", Rick replied."I don't see that.", the kid laughed."Get your ass out of here!!", Kat fumed.Kylen pulled me to his side, silently. "Woa. I'm wondering how a man with zero tolerance of cold would play in snow?", I teased him."When you are beside me, I can beat the temperature too!", he said cupping my face."Aww.", I giggled, "Am I that hot?"He stared into my eyes.And a question mark appeared on my face.He tugged me by my shoulders until my back hit the bark of a tree.Leaning onto me, Kylen clasped my hands above my head, "I'm damn of a hell sure that we can melt the snow beneath us.""Right now, right here.", he pressed his lips against the side of my neck.His dominating-coarse voice sending chills down my spine.I shut my eyes, with my breath turning rapid.He released me. I opened my eyes to see a winning smirk plastered on his face.Both of us want to take it in our own phase that suits us. But if he continues this game, I'm gonna let myself in soon. I'm hoping that he doesn't read my mind.As we parted to walk, I felt a pair of eyes watching us. I looked in the direction."Eleanor?", Kylen paused."I felt I saw a familiar face.", I replied."Ah. Half of LA is here. Don't be surprised if you encounter someone you know."The next was skiing. We wore goggles with our skateboards ready!A part of the hill was dedicated for skiing.Rick had a pain in his foot, so he was the cameraman while Kat, Kylen and I were making a route for our race.We first got comfortable with balancing ourselves with boards. Kat and Kylen were getting better with each other actually. Both of them being adventurous."Kylen! Watch out! I'm gonna win!""We shall see Kat!""On 3!", Rick shouted, "One! Two! Three! Go!"Well, actually, I was the fastest one, beating both of them initially.But the curves were stoop and I lowered my speed to firm the grip and damn! These two crossed me. They were almost at the same pace."See you at the finishing line, Ela!"I didn't give up and continued to ski.To my bad luck, a hard rock hit my boards, and my direction diverted out of the race.It was getting steeper, and I was loosing my balance. I saw an end of cliff approaching me with my speed shooting up."Shit!", I feared unable to stop.It is gonna throw me off the hill!Before I knew my end, I felt a thrush from sidewise, like someone had clashed their boards with mine.The force altered my direction, taking me out of that dangerous spot.Someone saved me from falling off the cliff. A stranger being my savior!"Ahh!", I sat with a thud on the leveled surface with twisted ankles.But luckily, the ground was flat enough for me to land on my butts.A shadow hosted over me with extended hands. I grabbed the arms, looking up, "Thank you-"Oh, well? The savior turned out to be Shawn!
