Ela's POV,Shawn didn't utter a word. Helping me detach skis from my foot, he walked away. Leaving me alone with my thoughts.He must have seen me with Kylen, making him aware that I have moved on.I climbed back steadily, going back to the place."Yo! Where were you?", Kat asked."Got deviated from the track.""You know, your guy won the race! He was damn good.", Rick chuckled."Rick, are you on my side or his? A second ago you were consoling me!""Darling-"Kylen passed a concerned gaze.I smiled back assuring that I was fine. I stood beside him while Kat and Rick were fighting like Tom and Jerry."Miss Messy, do you want to share what happened or should I wait?", he threw a hand across my shoulders, "I'm okay to wait as well.""I was on verge of dieing-", I sighed, "-by almost falling off a cliff."Kat and Rick grew silent hearing it."I stumbled upon some rock and speeded towards the end."Everyone were staring at me in absolute horror."I made out alive because I was rescued by Shawn.", I slapped my thighs saying it."Holy-""He was here? He has been stalking you?""No idea.", I replied.Kylen remained mummed.Rick asked, "How did he save you?""He hit my boards from the side, appearing out of nowhere and I fell at a safer spot actually.""He must be a professional.", Kylen remarked, "He changed the direction of flow at such a risky spot."I nodded while recalling, "He was the one who taught me to ski."We all went back to home.I placed my head on Kylen's lap while he was watching the TV."Are you disturbed?""Why would I be?", he asked caressing my hair."You aren't curious about Shawn."Kylen looked at me, "It doesn't matter until you are bothered by it.""Well, he didn't say a word. He just disappeared. And I'm guessing that he has seen us together."He continued watching the TV."Kylen?""Eleanor.", his lips curved, "I'm fine. Would I answer your damn call if I was on top of her?"I widened my eyes and Kylen winked at me in response.I literally ran into kitchen, to hide my red cheeks.They were still talking when I came out with a bowl of popcorn and a plate of cupcakes."Behave like a man, Sam.", Kylen turned on camera."Hey Sam!", I waved my hand, occupying a seat beside Kylen."This must be a dream! You guys are literally together. My bestfriends are sailing in LOVE!!", Sam turned emotional.Kylen rolled his eyes."Also, I'm thinking of to surprise Grandma and dad tomorrow with a brunch.", Sam spoke."Surprise? As in?""Kylen has already bought you home but not as a couple. And I'm thinking of to bring my girl and introduce her to my family."Kylen and I exchanged glances in amusement.His girl."Hope she is serious about you, pal.", Kylen cautioned him."Oh! But Sam told us to wait for them, so that all of us can go in together.So, we were in the car itself. I was taking selfies, when another car honked.Kylen and I peeped."Is it Sam?""The Majesty arrives."Sam came out hurriedly and opened the passenger's door.Soon, a human figure appeared under the broad sunlight.No words escaped from my mouth as I blinked rapidly.Kylen snorted,"You have to be kidding me!"Seems like, life has piled up a stack of surprises, indeed.
