Ela's POV,The days are being the best now.As Kylen has the key now, he keeps surprising me. Sometimes he arrives at twilight and joins me on the bed or sometimes both of us arrive together from office coincidently.Yesternight, he had prepared the dinner by the time I came home. A night doesn't go by without hugging him. I have been officially addicted to Netflix, credits to him! But these days, I'm unable to catch up with Kat much. She probably wants me to spend time with Kylen or she is busy with her work. We just chat or meet at gym in mornings.Sam too. I haven't got any freaking chance to meet him. He either is not in the city or if he is, then he is with his girlfriend.Life can never be same and that's the rule. I sighed walking out of the elevator."Morning Ela.""Morning.", I smiled to my colleagues, going inside my cabin.Oh god. Today I have to edit and make a video out of pre-wedding photoshoot of a couple. I scrolled to the photos and clips shared by the cameraman. It was almost lunch time, and I was thinking of which mashup song to be used for background music, when my door was knocked."Sam."The last time he was here, I didn't let him talk to me. I still feel bad."Hola!""Hey.""I bought you these cheese wraps and muffins!", he said placing it on my desk."Oh? Want to have lunch with me?", I asked with a serious grin.He rubbed the back of his head, "I'm sorry! I know that you know how my life is currently. And I couldn't talk to you the other day as well when I brought Jenny home.""Relax people! It is fine by me. I'm happy that you are here today.", I smiled turning my chair, "Give me two minutes I'll wrap up this thing and have wraps with you."He chuckled, "I'll be waiting for you at the cafeteria."Sam and I always have been foodies.We talked casually, but he was bit hesitant to talk about Jenny."One thing, no one can come between us. Jenny knows how I value relationships, so she will stay from it.""Yeah, I did talk to her about you being my best friend.", Sam said having a bite, "She said it is all good."I looked down, I wish I could mend my relationship with her. "So, how is Mr. Boyfriend with you?""Could never ask for more.", I replied happily, and Sam nodded."I see Kylen changing a lot.", Sam remarked, "He's not just happy, I feel his thinking ability, the angle of seeing the world has also changed.""Hmm. When you are with the right person, you grow personally, Sam.""Ela, I hope I can help Jenny in seeing how good you're as a human."After having lunch, we started for a stroll."Also, it is Jenny's mother's birthday this Thursday. She has invited me to come to Boston to celebrate it."I paused as memories rushed in. Shawn kinda hates his mom for ditching his dad. But never fails to celebrate her birthday as a family only for the sake of his dad's wish.I have been celebrating Tia Aunt's birthday for past couple of years.I need not even be invited; it was known of my mandatory presence in planning and executing it. She used to be so cheerful seeing me with Shawn. She never forgot to get me gifts everytime she visited Boston.This year it was supposed to be different.I wanted it to be different as in, Shawn and I together had planned for a Hawaii Tour with our families.Sam said they are in Boston, so they have probably canceled the trip because of Shawn and me."Ela?"Sam shook my shoulders."Are you okay?", he asked concernedly."Nostalgia hit me. Thats it."He understood, "Memories can never be snatched from us."We walked back to my floor."Alright, it's time for me to leave, Ela.""Take care. And if possible, wish Aunt Tia a Happy Birthday from my side when you go to see her."Sam nodded, "I will."Sam and I saw Shawn going inside my manager's cabin.Not even a minute,"Eleanor, Mr. Robin (manager) is calling you."I rolled my eyes in frustration-WHAT IS MY LIFE UPTO?!!
