ãâ¦â¦No, itâs nothing. Youâre right, Rani.ã
ãAnyway, itâs an emergency! If we donât do something, the whole town will be brought all the way up to the Highland! Thatâs the kind of thing it is!ã
ãWe better hurry up! Before itâs too late!ã
ãMiss Pullum might be in there too!ã
ãI think I can bring us all there with the Flygear! Are we doing that?!ã
ãLetâs do that. Itâll be fastâ¦â¦ã
The moment Rafinha was about to give her agreementâ¦
ãThat would be a problem, could you not?ã
A female voice they had never heard before suddenly interrupted them. Her voice was so composed, clear, and pleasant to the ear. Like the gush of a creek.
There was a girl amidst them, her long, light blue hair was tied up adorably. The large red flower hair ornament further enhances the pristine look of her face, making her look even more elegant. Her skin was white and tender while her arms, feet, and neck were delicate like the stalk of a flower, and yet her adult, womanly body was imposing through her clothes that tend to showcase her body lines. She was both dainty and bewitching, and terrifyingly attractive.
She might even be as beautiful as me!
Inglis took one look at the girl and felt like so.
Such a beautiful girl suddenly appeared on the Flygear Carrier. In her hand, she was holding Leoneâs beloved black greatsword Artifact.
ãS-, so cuteâ¦â¦No less than Glis! But, who?!ã
ãAh! Thatâs myâ¦â¦! When didâ?!ã
The Artifact had vanished from Leoneâs back when she checked it. The girl had taken it from Leone without even the slightest sign of ever doing it. The light-blue-haired girlâs willowy smile didnât break down.
At the first glance, she seemed to be nothing more than an otherworldly beautiful girl, but judging from the power that was flowing inside her and her aura. This girl had to beâ¦
ãHow do you do? Iâll be borrowing this for a moment. And then, farewell.ã
The light-blue-haired girl thrust the black greatsword Artifact into the flooring at her feet. The Artifact pierced through the floorboards of the Carrier, and then its blade, thanks to the Gift it possessed, penetrated even deeper into the hull and went through it.
ãWhaâ¦â¦! Stop that! What are you doing?!ã
ãThe Flygear Carrier is?!ã
ãThe hull wonât last! Stop it!ã
The girl gave Rafinha and her friends, who had gone panicked, a gentle smile.
ãFufufuâ¦I wonât.ã
She tightened her grip. As she did, the blade of the greatsword that had already skewered the Carrier was then moved to cut the hull into two. The sheer strength that laid within those dainty arms would have certainly been able to split the entire ship in half.
However, the creaking sound suddenly stopped. The black blade was being pushed back by another force as it began to shake where it was thrust.
ãThis strength, as expected of a Hyrule Menace!ã
Inglis hastily created an ice sword and stopped the black blade with it. With the force that was opposing her, in her current state without the activation of «Ether Armor», Inglis could be pushed over the edge if she was not being careful.
Oh, how wonderful. She couldnât help but smile with glee with just this much power going against her.
ãFufufuâ¦You must be Miss Tiffany? Good day to you.ã
ãWhy, good day to you too. Would you please tell me your name?ã
Tiffany smiled back at her, full of complacency, as though she was a noble lady greeting her peers.
ãWhereâre my mannersâ¦My name is Inglis Eux. I am a first-year student at the Squire department of the Royal Knight Academy of Charalia.ã
ãOh dear, youâre a student? With this strength? You sure have a bright future ahead of you. Not to mention, look how lovely you areâ¦â¦arenât you enviable?ã
ãWhy, thank you very much. Although, Iâm afraid Iâm not as lovely as you are, Miss Tiffany.ã
ãMy, quite the silvery tongue.ã
As they changed small talk and pleasantries, the fierce sword showdown was still ongoing.
ãThe hull is breached, staying in the air will be dangerous! Iâm lowering our altitude!ã
Shouted Liselotte who was holding the control of the Carrier.
ãGlis! Hold her off!ã
ãYeah! I got that!ã
Inglis answered without turning her head to Rafinha. Despite looking so finicky she couldnât even harm a bug, Tiffanyâs herculean strength was so overwhelming Inglis had no room to lose her attention.
ãThatâs the enemy Hyrule Menace! To think sheâd come straight at us, I couldnât tell at all when she took my Artifact!ã
Leoneâs frustration was evident.
ãIâve learned not to judge people by their looks from Glis, but I still couldnât believe such a lovely kid is the mastermind of all those atrocities!ã
ãOh dear, doesnât that sound disheartening? All I am doing is merely carrying out the plans of my predecessor whoâve already passed, you see?ã
ãPredecessor? Did you mean Lord Abel?! Does that mean bringing Lekrea to the sky is also one of Lord Abelâs plans?ã
ãWhy, of course. Miss Inglis, wasnât it? Have you met with Lord Abel before?ã
ãI have, I was there when he passed. Weâve lost a good man that day, a huge loss it was.ã
Inglis truly felt that way regarding Abelâs death, regardless of his character, behavior, and various personality traits. His aggressive, short-tempered character made him the perfect opponent to spar with. He called himself an Archlord, and he was capable enough to back his claim.
Had he not died that time, he would have become a great sparring partner for Inglis, as every time they met, he would surely throw his everything at her.
ãBut that doesnât mean weâre the one responsible for his death! Donât grudge us for that!ã
Rafinhaâs words invited an amused chuckle out of Tiffany.
ãFufu. I will never! Having that stuck-up, sniveling brat die feels refreshing, you know? Oh, Iâm sure you know, since youâve met him already?ã
With her ever-present otherworldly beautiful smile still on her lips, Tiffany continued.
