The lively buzz of the amusement park surrounded Taehyung as he stepped onto the paved walkway, wide-eyed and amazed. Colorful lights twinkled from every direction, the sound of laughter and cheerful screams filling the air. It had been years since he last visited a place like this. He couldn't even remember the last time—was it six or seven years ago? The nostalgia made him smile faintly as he adjusted the hem of his black satin shirt, its smooth fabric contrasting against his blue denim shorts.

"This is my first time coming here," Taehyung said softly, glancing at Jungkook beside him.

Jungkook, dressed in a plain black T-shirt that fit snugly against his frame, paired with matching joggers and stylish black boots, looked effortlessly handsome. The simplicity of his outfit made him stand out even more, and the way his dark hair framed his face gave him an almost movie-star aura.

Jungkook's lips curled into a smile at Taehyung's words. He reached out, gently patting Taehyung's head. "Then let's make it memorable," he said warmly.

Taehyung blinked up at him, a shy smile creeping onto his face as they strolled deeper into the park.

__________

Their first stop was the bumper cars. Taehyung hesitated before stepping into the brightly colored vehicle, unsure of how to maneuver it. Jungkook chuckled, watching him fumble with the controls.

"Do you even know how to drive this thing?" Jungkook teased, his own car revving to life with ease.

Taehyung pouted. "I'll figure it out!"

But the moment the ride started, Taehyung found himself spinning aimlessly in circles while Jungkook expertly swerved to bump him repeatedly, laughing every time he managed to catch Taehyung off guard.

"Yah! Stop targeting me!" Taehyung yelled, trying in vain to steer straight.

"Not a chance," Jungkook replied, his grin widening as he rammed into Taehyung's car once again.

By the end of the ride, Taehyung was laughing breathlessly, his initial frustration replaced with pure amusement.

__________

Next, they wandered over to the game booths, where Jungkook insisted on trying his luck at a ring toss. Taehyung stood by, sipping on a strawberry slushie, watching as Jungkook aimed with laser focus.

"You're really taking this seriously," Taehyung remarked, his lips quirking in a playful smile.

Jungkook threw one last ring, which landed perfectly around the bottle. The booth attendant clapped and handed him a large, fluffy white bear plush.

"For you," Jungkook said, holding it out to Taehyung.

Taehyung blinked in surprise, his hands wrapping around the plush instinctively. "You didn't have to..."

"I wanted to," Jungkook interrupted, his voice soft.

Taehyung's cheeks flushed as he hugged the bear tightly.

___________

As they walked past the cotton candy stall, Jungkook suddenly pulled out his phone. "Stay still," he said.

"What?" Taehyung asked, confused.

Jungkook didn't answer, snapping a picture of Taehyung cradling the plush bear, his face lit up by the golden glow of the setting sun.

"Perfect," Jungkook muttered to himself, grinning as he pocketed his phone.

Taehyung frowned. "Let me see!"

But before he could protest further, Jungkook had flipped the camera to him, capturing Taehyung mid-reach. The result made Jungkook chuckle—a candid shot of Taehyung's curious and slightly annoyed expression.

"Your turn," Taehyung declared, grabbing the phone and pointing it at Jungkook, who raised an eyebrow but posed obediently.

They exchanged playful jabs about who looked better in their pictures, the lightheartedness carrying them through the park.

_______

As they approached the towering Ferris wheel, Taehyung paused, his eyes tracing the intricate structure as it rotated slowly against the backdrop of the darkening sky.

Jungkook noticed his hesitation. "Do you want to ride it?"

Taehyung hesitated, biting his lip before nodding slowly.

Just then, a couple standing nearby caught their attention.

"Did you know the Ferris wheel is one of the most romantic places for couples?" the boy said, a mischievous grin on his face. "If you hold hands or kiss at the top, your love will be blessed forever."

The girl giggled. "You could've just said you wanted to ride it with me."

Taehyung's eyes widened as the conversation registered, his mind immediately spiraling into overthinking.

Is this... something only couples do? Don't tell me Jungkook—

But before he could finish his thought, Jungkook casually slung an arm around his shoulders, steering him toward the ticket counter.

"Okay then, let's go on the Ferris wheel," Jungkook said, his tone light and unbothered.

Taehyung blinked at him, a small smile creeping onto his face. I was overthinking. Jungkook doesn't think about it like that... does he?

__________

Inside the Ferris wheel, they chose seats opposite each other. As the ride began its slow ascent, Taehyung's excitement bubbled over. He pointed out landmarks and twinkling lights below, his voice filled with wonder.

Meanwhile, Jungkook simply leaned back, watching him with a soft smile. He hummed in response to Taehyung's observations, but his attention never wavered from the way Taehyung's eyes sparkled in the dim light.

The higher they climbed, the quieter it became, the sounds of the amusement park fading into the background.

Jungkook rested his chin on his hand, his lips curving up slightly. I could stay like this forever, he thought, his gaze fixed on Taehyung.

Taehyung, oblivious to Jungkook's stare, pressed his forehead against the glass, marveling at the view. "It's beautiful," he whispered.

"It is," Jungkook murmured, though his eyes were locked on Taehyung, not the view outside.
