Xu Xinduo had been working for an entire day and upon coming back home, the last thing she wanted was for Tong Yan to have a temper. She asked with slight annoyance, “Why are you angry when it’s my hair that’s cut?”

“Did you really think that that body is yours alone? Don’t you know that I like to have braids?”

“Then you can keep your long hair to yourself!”

“What’s the point of being able to braid my hair as a man?”

After listening for a while, Grandma Xu asked, “So Yanyan was the one who styles twin pigtails at home and braids your hair from time to time?”

Xu Xinduo didn’t know about these things, so she asked in surprise, “He used my body to have twin pigtails?!”

Tong Yan retorted,”Don’t think I didn’t know that you used my body to wear more than a dozen sets of clothes a day!”

Xu Xinduo answered confidently, “I’m helping you match your clothes!”

Tong Yan continued to complain, “I like to wear all black! I like to tie braids!”

Xu Xinduo thought that there must be something wrong with Tong Yan. He liked black to the point of a psychotic level and could be perceived as a cool boy. But a cool boy that liked to tie braids? Twin pigtails?

Xu Xinduo couldn’t understand Tong Yan’s thought process.

Tong Yan was about to explode in anger and he collapsed on the sofa. He scattered the snack bags on the sofa with his long legs and swept them all onto the ground.

Then he hugged a pillow and started to pretend to be dead. He was tall, so his body occupied most of the sofa.

Grandma Xu didn’t know what to do and asked, “Duoduo, do you want to comfort Yanyan for a bit? This incident seems to have overwhelmed him quite a bit.”

Xu Xinduo still had a temper— she only cut her hair for work; it wasn’t as if she had done anything wrong. But upon returning home, she was met with nothing but anger. She wasn’t happy, so she said, “Don’t worry about him! My friend will come over later, so I will be making some additional dishes for her.”

As soon as Xu Xinduo entered the kitchen, Tong Yan sat up and looked at the kitchen before he said to Grandma Xu, “Grandma, remember to ask me to eat later.”

Otherwise, it would be easy to spark another argument with her.

Grandma Xu nodded immediately, “Mm, okay.”

Tong Yan continued to lie down and pretended to be dead.

Soon after, Lou Xu arrived, so Xu Xinduo went downstairs to escort her up. When they were going up, Xu Xinduo told Lou Xu that in front of Grandma Xu, the two of them had been hanging out and playing for the entire day.

Tong Yan, who was pretending to be dead, sat up instantly and asked in a cold voice, “Lu Jinyou was one of the people that you were cooperating with today?”

“Mm, didn’t I tell you yesterday?” Xu Xinduo reacted after asking. The two of them kissed last night and after that happened, they didn’t talk about anything else.

Tong Yan probably didn’t really pay much attention to what she said over the phone either.

Tong Yan asked with a serious expression, “Does he know that you know me?”
