Chapter 11: Chapter 11~ You great big Godzilla!!

Anna’s POV~

I spin around..”We need another screen…pulling up the different cameras in the Flaming Rose pack house, there are eight that are in perfect positions…and four that aren’t clear..like they are older..lower quality, maybe..and we can switch to the ones outside, as needed. Their Security command is not being monitored..so possibly no one has mentioned video surveillance. I’m not sure..but it’s a windfall for us! See? Being a geek can be helpful!” And Bonnie laughs.

Belinda gets excited..”Listen” she squeals “Spirit wolves are gifted..we know that part..but Listen! Once a spirit wolf mates and marks their mate…some of their powers transfer..making it possible for the mate to spirit walk, too! Can you, Falcon? Can Othello spirit walk? I didn’t know Michelle could! But, I didn’t know much..anyway. And I doubt she felt she could tell me because of Bertram! But damn! How cool!”

I look over at Falcon and see his eyes are glazed…talking to Othello…no doubt! Belinda reads “The mated wolf..should he be male..will be of increased size..have superior healing ability..and gifted with mind sight.” I ask “what the fuck is mind sight? We need to research that shit..I don’t want Othello crawling around my brain…do you guys?” Marcus says..”Well..he’s gonna have to practice on somebody..why not us..until he learns?”

Falcon smirks “Still in the room guys! Talking about me, instead of to me might piss me off!” We laugh and I mention that if Othello is increased in bulk..maybe he shouldn’t try to spirit walk indoors…and Brady says “Yeah..I replace enough shit you break on a good day!” I look at Falcon “You break shit?” He mumbles “sometimes..but let me explain…” and we all crack up laughing. I say “Any story that starts with let me explain…or hear me out…never…and I mean..never….ends well!” And Falcon laughs “True that!”

Axel yells “I got it! We will be in and undetectable in minutes!” I run to the screen and connect the laptop..jumping from foot to foot…and I feel Falcon wrap his arms around me from behind and whisper “Antsy, mi amor?” chuckling. I can only nod!

The screen crackles to life..and we see a living area..an office, the conference room..several servants rooms..just ewww!…the Alpha’s bedroom..again Eww!…the kitchen…banquet room and dining hall. I turn and say “That’s a Lot of coverage! Sweet! Now, we wait until the douchecanoe shows back up!”

Falcon says..”in the meantime, Othello wants to try to spirit walk..but I don’t want the pack to see..I want to keep this as a secret weapon of sorts…so I’m thinking we can shift in the ballroom?” I shout “Let’s go! I’m so excited! Bethany is running circles in my mind! Have you tried that mind sight thing? I mean..it won’t work on me because you’re already able to stroll through my brain..but maybe Axel? I bet his mind is an entire labyrinth of fuckery! That would be fun!!” Axel yells “Hey! Maybe Brady? His mind is full of all sorts of convoluted shit!” And Falcon tells them “Enough! I have no inclination to muddy my brain with the swamps in either of your heads!” And everyone laughs!

Here we stand, in the ballroom..and my poor Falcon looks totally lost. Bethany springs free and runs to Falcon..she speaks “Come forth, Othello, my King! I want to spend time with you!” And Othello…being Othello…spun a small black smoke tornado and landed in front of me! WOW! “You’re freaking ginormous! How the fuck!!?” And Beth…being Beth..is prancing and bouncing..and jumping in circles…begging “Play with me! Chase me!! I love you! Do you love me? Please say yes. Say you do!” And Othello puts his massive paw on her head and makes her sit! I’m like “Hey! She’s excited! She hasn’t ever gotten to play with other wolves. Okay? Don’t be mean, you great big Godzilla!” And he laughed! He licks Beth’s face and tells her “Of course, I adore you! You are my beautiful..bouncy, adorable girl! And I love you! I loved you from the first second I saw you…even before I knew you were mine!” And Beth sighs and leans into her massive mate.

I step to him and kiss his head..I ask him “How are you feeling?” He chuckles…”Like I’m having an out of body experience “ and we all groan. Brady says “well, now we know where all his corny cliches come from!” And everyone laughs. Falcon looks at us “This is the strangest shit I have ever experienced! I can see him…and hear him…but I don’t feel separate from him. It’s like two bodies with a solitary thought! It’s awesome as hell and spooky as fuck…all at once” I giggle and say “welcome to my world!”

“Othello…now that we know you can spirit walk..we need to make sure you can still shift with Falcon..would you mind trying that?” He growls “But I just got out! And I can’t talk like this…only link” and Falcon tells him he will let him spirit walk frequently with Bethy! So he leaps at Falcon..who staggers and I laugh…”You get used to that!” Falcon smirks and shifts…Bam! And we all stand there..staring… Othello stands a good ten feet tall and is so muscled he looks like a tank! Marcus mutters “I wouldn’t wanna meet his scary ass in a dark alley” and Axel responds “His huge ass wouldn’t Fit in an alley!” And we crack up!

I walk up to Othello…and find I can walk completely under his belly without ducking! I say “Damn, Baby! You are big!!” And Axel snickers “That’s what she said” and I deadpan “Are you five???” I walk with Othello to the wall of mirrors at the back and he stands tall and proud…checking himself out. 🐺 Damn! I Am big! This is amazing! And I tell him 🐺 Perks of being a spirit wolf! My daddy stood 10’4..He was huge too..I wanna measure your height! I turn and yell “Get a tape measure! I have to know how tall he is!” Within minutes, Brady runs back in..with the tape measure and a step ladder..and for some reason, it strikes me funny..these guys!

Brady is standing on the ladder, while I hold the tape measure on the floor..And he’s an idiot! He shouts down “Ten Feet..nine inches..” making his voice echo like he’s in a canyon! And they call me a nerd!
