JAMES POTTER NEVER believed that beauty could exist in self destruction. Then he saw her. And her eyes told stories with dangerous beginnings and no endings, where every page was breathing with color. He had never known storms had flavor till he kissed her. It turns out they taste like ambition and ancient fire, desperation and self destruction, determination and dark matter and the mind numbing fear of losing her as if she would somehow disappear between his fingers.

James Potter never thought raging hurricanes were beautiful but god, if she's not the most beautiful thing he's ever seen.

OLIVIA KINSLEY HAD never received that look before, but there he lays, looking at her in a way that no one had ever done so before, her hands shaking as she explains her knotted past. She is not always easy to hold on to as her hearts are scattered with thorns. Some nights, she will be quiet and he won't know how to pull her away from her weeded mind. Some nights, she forgets what he sees in her and trips over her own two feet apologizing for the mess she made.

On those nights, the one thing that will drag her out of her own labyrinth is that look.

i would start off by saying that i was sixteen when i first started writing and planning this story, a month after i turned seventeen when i published it and it's first and foremost, a product of a kid just having fun but reading it now, i can't stand it. i hate my writing style, i hate how i made characters two dimensional and it's overall just something i would not enjoy reading about which is why i've decided to rewrite the whole thing.

as a nearly twenty year old uni student, i can confidently say that my writing has grown a lot throughout the years. this book is my first love. i will forever be attached to olivia which is why i'm giving it another chance to once again be something that i love and proud of.

that being said, the first few chapters will be similar to the original but with much better writing. its when we go further on that things will change. kat, amara and maxwell's stories will be much more explored because god know i'm probably never going to write those books about them that i talked about before. characters that died may survive and characters that survive may die. there will be small changes and there will be big changes.

to first time readers, i hope you fall in love with this book as much as sixteen year old me did. to rereaders, hi, welcome back and i hope you love this rewriting as much as you loved the original xx
