âYou said that I can choose anyone from the Temple right? Well, then I choose Dorea. That should be good enough for your systemâ
The scientist didnât know what Han was planning but he decided that he would not stop Han. He waved his hand and Dorea felt a shackle break inside her. She was no longer tied to the void!
âIâll give you three days, until then she is your responsibility. Have a safe retrieval, Han Luoâ
Four of them received a crystal stone and then a portal appeared in front of them. Han grabbed Dorea by her hand and pulled her along as he walked through the portal. She was too shocked to even react. This isnât how she expected the mission to go! Was she going out of the void!?
Fey squeezed her staff tighter as she realized that there was now even more competition for Han. She sighed and then followed behind the two of them. She will have to start being more forceful like Ragnar said! She is a Dragonborn for crying out loud! Being forceful is in her blood!
Leona just walked behind Fey as they left the void. She didnât understand half of what was going on here but all she knew was that she didnât want anything to do with Han right now. What he did to her mind was unforgivable and even though she knew she wouldnât be able to do anything to him she wasnât going to forgive him for it! But heâs the leader of my guild so thereâs no way I can stay in the Temple without talking to him every now and then. Leona groaned as she walked into the portal. This is going to be a long mission!
â¦
When the four of them arrived on the other side of the portal, Dorea hissed and closed her eyes in pain as she felt the sunlight. She wasnât used to being out in the sun at all. How long has she been in that void! Han wondered if she was really okay in there all the time.
Dorea opened her eyes slowly and look up before a beautiful smile bloomed on her face as she looked around! She was outside! She didnât even remember when was the last time she left that void!
Han didnât have any specific reason for taking Dorea with him. He just didnât want her to be alone with that scientist when they left. But it seems Dorea appreciated coming out of the void far more than she appreciates him saving her from the scientist.
âThereâre two suns. Wow, itâs beautifulâ
Dorea muttered as she looked into the sky. Han also looked up and noticed that there were two suns up there.
The four of them were standing on a high tower. This world was very large and it had hundreds of trees and plant life surrounding the tower they were on. The place they were standing was the pinnacle of a castle. It was made of stone and looked very well kept.
Was this some sort of fantasy world with royalty ruling over it? It seems possible that it was something like that. Hanâs system came up and gave another notification.
[Chosen Information]
[Sex â Male]
[Race â Human]
[Current Position â Third Prince of the Magicus Kingdom]
[Inclination â Lawfully Evil]
Well, that didnât sound ominous at all! Was it even possible for someone to be lawfully evil? What kind of inclination was that? Did he kill people for the good of the world or some shit like that?
âDid you get the notification, Han? I think your system should tell you something about the mission youâre about to doâ
Dorea was standing very close to Han while asking him this and Han nodded to her. She smiled and then asked him what the mission was about. This was the first time that she had come out from that void in close to fifty years and she was so thankful to Han! She canât believe that scientist just allowed her to go like that!
Han didnât know why Dorea was so thankful, he still hasnât saved her fully. Thank me when you donât have to go back at all. Thatâs when Iâll feel like I actually did something to help you.
âLetâs go around first and see what the layout of this place looks like. Maybe we can find the prince faster if we separateâ
âIâll come with you!â
Feyâs mouth fell open in shock! She wanted to say that she would go with Han, but Dorea was so fast! She just clung to Han and shouted it like some kind of puppy! Arenât you shameless at all!?
Han nodded to Dorea and then he told Fey to go with Leona. No one even thought of disobeying his orders since he was literally the leader of all the guilds they were under. They all activated their Flight skills and then took off into the sky.
â¦..
Han and Dorea flew at a high altitude to make sure that no one would be able to see them from the ground. As they went, Han noticed that a lot of carriages were coming toward the castle. There were almost fifty of them in total and they were drawn by horses just like in the fantasy stories Rina already reads. Does that mean they were coming for some sort of party? Maybe a ball?
Han wished Rina was here. She would have loved to see a thing like this! Dorea tapped Han on the arm and they stopped in the air. She pointed down to the gate of the castle and Han saw a group of people who came to receive the guests. There were about ten of them in total. The man and woman in front were wearing very expensive outfits and it was obvious they were the king and queen. There were two other men behind these two and a girl who stood with a smile on her face was also there. All these five people were expensively dressed.
Everyone else was dressed in either butler suits or maid outfits. Han hummed as he thought about the current situation. The system told him that the person they came here for was the third prince. So why were there only two princes here? Is one of them the person weâre looking for?
As the carriages arrived at the castle, the maids and butlers were opening doors and leading people in while the royal family was greeting people with waves and smiles. Okay, it didnât look like Han would be getting anything out of this. He activated [Almighty Overseer] and turned towards the house as everything sharpened into an otherworldly clarity.
Now, where are you, lost prince? Donât tell me that a fellow chosen is actually down there receiving dignitaries like some sort of snobbish royal prince. I refuse to believe it! Hanâs eyes swept over the entire building until it finally rested on a room at the very top of the castle. An attic that looked darker than the rest of the building.
There was something around that room. Some kind of protective barrier that made it a little more difficult for Han to see through. His eyes eventually managed to tear down the restrictions, but it was difficult! How interesting! There was something on this world strong enough to hold back his [Almighty Overseer]? He had to see what kind of thing they kept in that room.
Dorea didnât want to distract Han as she saw that his eyes were red and he was looking through the castle. She knew he activated a skill to find the prince so she would just allow his search in peace. Doreaâs main ability was to transport herself and others from one place to another through her void.
She used to be one of the chosen before, but the Celestials saw that her skill of void travel was useful and so they made her into the transporter against her will. it was something she couldnât do anything about because she wasnât even skilled enough to take on a gold Star on her own, talk less of the Celestials. When Han brought her out from that void, she has never felt so grateful to anyone before. it might just be for a few days, but to her it was everything.
Han suddenly started to laugh in a low chuckle that sent shivers down her spine and Dorea turned to him in shock. What was he seeing? Han held his mouth in amusement and then turned to her.
âLetâs go see our rouge prince, Dorea. This should be more fun than anything youâve ever seen in that void of yoursâ
Once Han said this, he grabbed her hand again and shot off towards the top of the castle. He managed to find Fey and Leona in record time, and they were shocked when he stopped them from searching for the prince and ordered them to come with him.
Fey was actually in the middle of finding out what made Leona so afraid of Han before, but she has still not been able to get Leona to say anything. It didnât seem like Leona was afraid anymore and Fey wanted to know what caused such a big change.
Leona would not say anything to Fey. She didnât see any point in bringing Fey into a problem that was just between her and Han.
