Once the contract of submission was signed Han felt pride fill him. He was getting closer to his goal. Just one more guild and he would be ready to go up to the higher floor. No one has heard about Hanâs goal other than Yuuma and Han was going to keep it that way because he didnât want that scientist catching wind of it in any way. Han felt like it was time to get rid of that man. The scientistâs curiosity might be admirable, but it was a constant pain in Hanâs ass.
Han could tell that the scientist was always watching him. It was very uncomfortable to be watched from above like you were some sort of guinea pig! Why else would the scientist know about Hanâs sudden increase in power so quickly? Han was silent about his power for a long time, but that scientist still figured it out like it was nothing!n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
It wouldnât be long now before the scientist decides that he was tired of waiting and come to take Han away as a test subject as he promised, and Han would rather die than let something like that happen.
Han and the leader of the White rose guild flew towards the base of the Red arrow redemption guild. Just like the White rose who wore all white, the Red arrow redemption wore all red. They were a more feral group who didnât bother with things like councils or meetings, unlike the White rose. The Red arrow redemption guild was a prime example of what the Temple tried to preach. Power above all else. In the guild, leadership is decided by a battle among the strongest members. Whoever wins is declared the leader and no one has any right to go against him in a decision.
The leader of the White rose told Han to be careful with how he approached the leader. If Han approaches him wrongly then it is possible that everyone there would become Hanâs enemy. They might follow the god, but their leaderâs words were just as important to them as the words of their god!
Dyana mustâve really done something big for these people to follow her like this, Han thought.
The Red arrow redemption guild had its base deep in the forest region on the west side of the floor. They were not as many as the White rose guild, but their numbers were still more than Trinata and Rivera combined! They had close to two hundred people in their guild while White rose had about three hundred. And even with this difference, they were still the strongest guild in the Temple.
Once Han came into the range of their base his instincts immediately warned him of incoming danger. He looked to the side and saw the leader nod toward him. So he should just accept this and not retaliate? It seems too brazen for them to just start throwing out bloodlust like this. Did they think he was here to fight?
âThey just donât trust anyone. Even when Iâm coming for a meeting with the leader, they still take things this far. There will be an escort here soon so just waitâ
The leader said this calmly, he was already used to this happening so he knew they werenât in any form of danger. In the next moment, a man flew toward the two of them. He was a Cyclops wearing the red robe of the Red arrow redemption guild with a bow and quiver of arrows stuck to his back. He looked at Han with obvious distrust. He couldnât tell if Han was strong or not. He spoke to the leader of the White rose guild.
âWhy have you come here again? I thought the yearly meetings were to be held next month. As the leader of the white rose guild shouldnât you know better than to bring strangers into other peopleâs bases?â
The leader of the White rose guild narrowed his eyes at the man. He might not be a fan of fighting, but he still wouldnât take people talking down to him.
âShut your trap, green bean. Were here to see your leader, tell him the god sent usâ
The man was hesitant to leave but he finally nodded and started to fly back towards the base. The leader and Han followed after him till they came to a large mansion hidden in the leaves. It had three stories and Han could see many people in red moving around. This was the main base of the Red arrow.
âThis way, please try to keep upâ
The man called to Han from in front and Han followed after him silently. They were led to a room where a single man sat on a throne. On his left was a beautiful woman feeding him and at his feet were two other women that rested on the throne. Once the door opened, he looked toward it in annoyance. Who dares to interrupt him when heâs in the middle of dinner?
âMy Lord, Paravell, you have guests. The leader of the white rose guild and a stranger are here to see youâ
The man bowed while introducing the both of them and Paravell sighed as he pushed away the plate of food and told the women to leave him. Once they were gone, he leaned forward with one hand on his knee.
âTell me, what do you want? I thought we decided not to interfere in each otherâs business till the yearly meetings. Have you forgotten so quickly?â
The leader of the White rose could feel the annoyance rolling off Paravell and he tried to calm things down immediately. He didnât want a fight to break out here and he didnât know if he could win in a straight fight against this monster of a man. Paravell is hailed as the greatest warrior on the lower floors, his fighting skills are even greater than ten gold Stars combined!
âI brought this man here to meet you. The god has demanded we listen to what he has to say.â
Paravell tilted his head and looked down his nose at Han. What a little man. Why would the god demand we listen to someone like this? I cannot even feel any form of power from him.
âYou, little man. Tell me what it is that you desire. If it is within my power to grant it, then I will give it unto you for the sake of our godâ
Han was keeping a straight face outwardly, but on the inside, he was laughing his ass off! This man speaks like a villain from the reconnaissance period! Is he some sort of duke!? This Temple really has everybody, doesnât it! Han cleared his throat as he answered.
âWell, itâs quite simple to be honest. I want you to sign a contract of submission with meâ
Doooonnn!!!!
That was the sound of bloodlust being activated! For the first time in his life, Han heard a sound when someone released their bloodlust! Is that some sort of special skill! Cool!
The leader of the White rose guild stumbled and took a step back! He couldnât believe this! This man has been holding back whenever they fought in the past! Iâve never felt this sort of bloodlust from him before! Didnât I tell you to be careful with how you word your request in front of this man, Han!?
Even the people outside the room were all feeling the oppressive bloodlust. They all stopped what they were doing and looked towards the throne room. No one dared to even go near it because they didnât want to be closer to that feeling at all!!
Paravell stood up slowly and towered over the entire room. He has lived for a very long time in this Temple. Centuries even, and never before has he ever felt so insulted in his life!! How dare you come into my house and speak such nonsense!!
Paravell was about to unleash a skill upon Han, but Han folded his hand and Paravell felt his eyes widen as he saw the star on Hanâs palm. His bloodlust died down immediately, and he actually stumbled. W-What the hell? White? Why is his Star white!?
âY-You. What are you doing here on these lower floors? Your Star is white so what are you doing here!?â
Han hummed. Did Paravell know something about the Star? Paravell could see the confusion on Hanâs face, and he sighed as he fell back on his throne. He met a monster that didnât even know he was a monster here. Or maybe he knew but he just didnât see it as anything big. What was happening today?
âWhy do you want me to sign the contract?â
The leader of the White rose guild couldnât believe how defeated Paravell sounded! Was Paravell going to actually sign it!? What was so special about the white Star that even Paravell was acting like this?
Han shrugged in response to Paravell and the man knew that meant Han wasnât going to say shit. Paravell sighed as he grabbed the coat around his body and threw it to one side. Hanâs eyes widened when they landed on his left arm, or rather his lack of a left arm! It was completely gone from the shoulder down!
âThe last time I ran into a white Star, I can only say that I managed to escape with my lifeâ
