Gregory stood over the body and just looked at it for a second before looking away. It was war so he felt no guilt for killing her. She isnât the first to die at his hands and she sure as hell wonât be the last! A mad shout drew him out from the momentary distraction.
âWhat do you think youâre doing, you monster!!?â
It was a short Dragonborn girl that had a mad look on her face as she shot toward Gregory. She looked like she had a substantial amount of power in her, maybe as much as the woman he just killed even! She was definitely a general as well.
Gryle was running towards the monster that dared to attack Mappa and she was going to show him hell! How dare he attack them and then kill one of her friends!? Gryle didnât have very many friends in theTemple, so the generals were like family to her. Ever since she came here when she was twelve years old, they were the only ones who accepted her and took care of her till she could take care of herself! She will kill this boy who dared to touch them!!
Gryle drew two knives from behind her and she jumped straight at Gregory with a shout. Gregory twirled around and his scythe cleaved her neck straight off!
Squelch!!
The amount of shock on the faces of the soldiers around was not small! They know just how strong Gryle was, she was a swordsman that specializes in close distance fights with her knives, so how is this man able to kill her in one shot when he couldnât even fight Mappa before!
Gregory already absorbed all of the power inside of Mappa, so his level was now far above what Gryle could ever hope to beat. It was just her bad luck that he was the one she met. Hebrought the scythe up again and when he smiled at the soldiers, they finally knew the reason why he was called a Grim Reaper.

Han just continued to get notifications like these as he fought against Quinthreath. Most of it came from the people that his Shadow hunters were killing. To have an immortal army of Shadows go against a group of mortal people will always end like this. Han can make these Shadow Hunters regenerate as many times as he wants them to.
So no matter how many of them are killed, as long as Han had the MP, he could bring them back to life. But the people sure as hell couldnât come back to life. They are just running to their deaths with the way theyâre fighting!
The other parts of the incoming XP was obviously from Gregory and if Han was anyone else he would have been worried about just how quickly Gregory was killing people! It was like every second Han would gain XP from ten people Gregory killed at once through the contract of submission. Maybe I should tell him to chill? We kinda need these people. All of them being dead wonât do us any good!
Quinthreath roared in anger again and Han had to turn back to the fight so he wouldnât go overboard. Yes, Han was actually holding back in this fight. For one thing, Han knew that Quinthreath was also holding back. If the two of them wanted they could have taken out this entire floor with their skills, but they were only targeting each other to make sure they didnât cause too much damage to the floor.
Han was only using about 30% of what his full power could actually do and he was sure Quinthreath was using anywhere from 50% to 60%. Han brought up his [Armament of Lightning] as Quinthreath unleashed a lightning-based skill and Quinthreathâs skill dissipated immediately it came in contact with Hanâs skill. This is stupid. They didnât have to fight like this for them to conclude every time, do they?
Han already knew that the people in this Temple have gotten used to the use of force to settle problems and even though he didnât have anything against it, he knew that they were using the violence in the wrong way this time.
Han decided that it was enough as he blasted off and flew straight for Quinthreath. There was nothing Quinthreath could do as he saw Han coming straight for him. He immediately brought up a defensive shield, but Han wasnât going to be attacking him. Instead, Han activated a skill.
[Empty Dimension] has been activated.
Han has never used this skill before because he never saw a reason to use it. This skill transports his opponent into a world of darkness where nothing exists. Han could easily transport people here and leave them there, but that wouldnât give him any stat points because he couldnât do anything to them while they were in there. It would just be a silly method to trap someone.
But this time, instead of transporting only the opponent, Han transported them both into this empty Dimension.
Quinthreath suddenly found himself standing on nothing, looking into nothing and feeling nothing. He wasnât overwhelmed by this because he could feel that he was still alive, but it seems he couldnât do anything in this world. His mental defense was keeping him from panicking and he could probably stay here forever without ever going mad. But how can a mage use a skill of this level already!? He is just a newcomer to the upper floors! Is it some kind of artifact as well?
If I use enough power, I should be able to break out of here. But if I do that then I donât know if Iâll cause any damage to the surroundings outside. It may be only my mind that is in here and my real body is outside. Any skill I use could still affect my castle. Really, this Han Luo is a scary opponent.
âAh, Hello. Quinthreath, was it?â
Quinthreath turned around and adopted a hostile stance as he heard Han Luoâs voice. He wouldnât let his guard down just because they were both in here. Han smiled at Quinthreath and the man sneered back. What game was this fool playing at this time?
âYou really donât want to try that. Nothing exists for you here, Quinthreath, not unless I want it to. Not touch, sound, taste, sight, not even your powers. Really, you can only hear me inside your head, canât you? You donât even know where Iâm standing right nowâ
Han was right. Quinthreath couldnât see Han, and it was only now that he realized that he couldnât see anything, hear anything or even feel anything. This is an [Empty Dimension] isnât it? Itâs one of the highest skills a mage can use to trap their opponent. Why can this man use it when I know he has just come to the Temple recently? I have this skill as well, but mine took me almost two hundred years to get!
âI donât want to fight you right now. But I just want to ask you something. What exactly do you know about the creator? What do you know about the Celestials?â
Quinthreathâs brow rose in curiosity. He was asking a question? How exactly am I meant to answer when I canât even speak. Maybe I should think about it?
There was suddenly a swirl of colors in front of Quinthreath before the [Empty Dimension] became brighter. He squeezed his palm together and he was surprised when he could feel the sensation in them again. Han was standing right in front of him, waiting for an answer.
Quinthreath breathed out a cautious breath before he finally answered.
âI donât know what game youâre playing here, but you better not think you will get away from me Han Luo. Your life is mine to claim for what you have done here today. Attacking an unprepared opponent is a crime as long as I am concernedâ
Han waved away the entire speech. So what if it was a crime? Would Quinthreath not have done the same thing if he was in Hanâs shoes? There is no way Han will feel guilty about what he was doing here. Now answer the damn questions.
Quinthreath was hesitant to answer the question because he really didnât know much about what Han asked, but he relented when he realized that Han would not budge.
âI do not know much about the topic you ask. All I know is that the Celestials are above us and the Creator above them. What more do you need to know?â
Han became irritated once he heard the answer that Quinthreath gave. Is this how everyone here thought? Did they all think that the Celestials were some sort of supernatural species who were simply âaboveâ us?
âQuinthreath, listen carefully. As of right now, you and everyone in that castle of yours are nothing more than entertainment for the Celestials. Like cattle that they breed just so they can put them in a life-or-death match against one another to see which one was bred best. Does that sound like someone you should look up to? Are you okay with that, King Quinthreath?â
