Robertâs room in the nursing home had been changed; they moved to a separate villaâa whole building owned by the Fisher Family.
At first sight of the villa, Elisa quickly realized that the Fisher Family was probably not just an ordinary family, but she didnât ask any further questions.
When Elisa followed Charles to the nursing home, the lobby lights were still on. As they entered, Elisa saw the elderly person sitting in the lobby.
âIsnât this the old man she saw at the restaurant?â she thought.
She quickly composed herself and said, âSir, what are you doing here?â
âDoes it hurt?â He asked, looking at her head. She felt awkward with the affectionate tone of the man in front of her; he reminded her a lot of her late grandfather.
âOh, this?â She pointed to her head, saying, âIt doesnât hurt.
She shook her head, but that movement made her dizzy, and she needed to lean on something.
âDonât move. Sit down quickly,â John said, supporting Elisa, who sat back in the sofa. âThe injury is severe. How can you not feel it?â He asked, leaving Elisa surprised by his concern.
He seemed like a grandfather worrying about his granddaughter.

âMr. John!â Charlesâ surprised voice came. He held the receipt and the medicine in his hand. Afterward, he quickly walked towards us with a smile.
âCharles!â Old Mr. Smith greeted the man.
Elisa looked at the two, oblivious to how they knew each other.
She felt like her brain would stop running. Why did Charles know this gentleman?
âSir, when did you come to New York?â Charles asked.
âCharles, it seems that Elisa doesnât know who I am. Please introduce me to her!â He said.
Charles began the introductions.
âMiss, this gentleman in front of you is John Fischer, Robertâs grandfather and Madame Fischerâs father- inâlaw,â He replied.
Elisa was surprised. She didnât know she had been so close to someone from the Fischer family, except for Madame.
Soon after returning from her senses, she replied, âMr. Fischer, itâs you! Iâm sorry, I was so rude for not knowing you.â
Instantly, Jolin showed a loving smile.
âItâs okay, Elisa, I know you,â Old Mr. Smith said gently.

âI heard you were admitted to the hospital and was very worried. I wanted to know if you were hurt.â
âIâm fine, Mr. Fisher. Thank you for your concern. Elisa replied gratefully.
âI heard from Anna that you call her mom, so you should call me grandpa too,â Old Mr. Smithâs tone was like that of a child, making Elisa feel a bit awkward.
âAlright, grandpaâ¦
Robertâs room.
On this day, Robert cooperated with Smithâs treatment. They finally concluded that a tenâminute video could last a maximum of half a day.
As long as Robert does not have headaches, he will be normal. Doctor Smith even tried other types of audio for therapy, but it didnât work. It had to be that one, and he even tried to hire a professional to see if it was because of the waves or the way the audio was made. When Robert heard what she was trying to do, a thought immediately crossed his mind. Elisaâs voice also had a therapeutic effect on him.
However, he didnât say anything to the doctor. Even though her voice was the same and had the same effect, he didnât want to let the woman help in his treatment. Upon thinking about the nervousness she made him before, Robert was determined that he didnât want to pretend anymore. He could wake up in front of her. He didnât want to spend a day with that woman.
Before eight oâclock, Charles went to rescue the woman. It was almost midnight, but he didnât know the situation yet, and neither of them had returned, which made him uneasy.
Suddenly, he heard a commotion of footsteps outside. After some time, the door of the room was opened.
âMiss Smith, I asked Charles to return Elisaâs medical exams. Could you see if there is any problem that the hospital doctor didnât see? Also, do you think she needs to undergo further tests? If so, could you arrange it, please?â
Robert frowned when he heard that voice. It was his grandfatherâs voice. What was he doing here, he left so far from home?
âOf course, sir, I will take a look. The doctor responded, taking the medical exams.
Her calm face changed to worry when she looked at what she saw. She didnât imagine that the young girl had gone through something. âWas Elisa hit by someone? The injury is quite serious.â
âYes, she was!â Charles replied, nodding his head.
âCharles let her get hurt?â
When Robert heard this, he slowly opened his eyes. At this moment, all eyes were on Elisa, and no one was paying attention to him.
He saw that Eliza had a bandage wrapped around her head, and there were wounds on her checks.
Her eyes were red and swollen. For a moment, he felt sorry for her, and his grandfather, who was by the young girlâs side, paid attention to every word Dr. Smith spoke. He had never seen his grandfather like
this.

After reading all the exams conducted. Dr. Smith looked at John. Later, she said, âSir, there is no need to worry too much. The hospital exam is very comprehensive. When I change the dressing tomorrow, I will examine the wound. But for now, there is no need for further tests.â
âThatâs great!â Mr. Fischer replied, secretly sighing with relief.
Then he looked at the hospital bed, thinking of his grandson, who was still in a coma and approached. âAnd Charles and Dr. Smith, how is Robertâs situation?â
âRobertâs situation is stable,â the doctor replied softly. The doctor then squeezed her hands, feeling her heart tighten.
âI wish you would wake up and take care of that girl. She needs someone for her,â the old man said.
Charles and Smith looked at each other, and the same thought crossed their minds simultaneously. Robert had woken up, and he cared about the young Elisa.
John looked at his grandson, and then Elisa entered the room and felt the gazes on her.
âElisa, do you sleep with Robert at night?â He asked her.
She nodded her head but soon regretted it.
âSir, Elisa is very caring and likes to read bedtime stories to Robert. With that, he is not alone in the room and can feel someone talking to him,â The doctor explained to the boss.
âYou are a good person, Elisa!â John said, holding his granddaughterâs hand. âBut, dear, Robert hasnât agreed yet, so whether you stay by his side doesnât make sense.â
The doctor just thought to herself, âHow does it not make a difference? Robert woke up a few days ago because of this closeness,
âYou are injured now and need to rest well. Although this is Robertâs room, it is still a ward. How can you live in a ward? Please, Charles or Smith, have someone prepare a separate room for Elisa.â
âYes, sir, I will arrange it immediately, Charles responded. The doctor looked at Robert, who was lying still in bed, not moving. They knew that their boss was listening to every word his grandfather said. When his grandfather came to see him in the past, he would not sit next to the grandsonâs bed for several consecutive times. He would always give a superficial appearance, nothing to get closer.
In less than fifteen minutes, Charles returned and reported that the room was ready, and John smiled in gratitude.
âDarling, itâs getting late. Have a good rest,â Mr. Fischer said to Elisa, and then he gave everyone a sensation and left the room, not before Elisa accompanied him outside.
