Chapter 35: lifting the weight within

a journey in my own skinWords: 579

I lift not just the weights,

but the anger that coils inside me,

the frustration that I carry

in every step,

every breath.

Each press,

each pull,

I feel the tension slip away,

piece by piece,

like sweat on my skin,

like a shadow fading into light.

I don't fight the anger anymore—

I channel it,

transform it,

turn it into power,

into movement.

This is how I let go,

not by breaking,

but by building.

Not by tearing myself apart,

but by strengthening the parts of me

that were once fragile,

once broken.

With every rep,

I release the pain

and make room for the man I want to be.
