Abhimanyu is in the lawn having a sip of tea alone, having just ended the call with his sister when professor Soniya comes to him.
Oh God she will ask for Coffee date again which he had been avoiding, Just then he Saw Amrita looking for an empty seat, so he Call her "Amrita!"
She gets startled with a sudden call of her name which she didn't expected and saw Abhimanyu. They both walk towards each other.
"Yes sir?" She asked with confusion
"Umm...you have to..aa collect the assignments from your class of my subject"
She raise her eyebrows "Umm okay sir"
He turn around a little and saw Soniya waiting for him. Please Goo !! He scream in his mind.
"Aa and give me a list of students as well" He added
"But sir that would be with the CR" She exclaimed
He nods "Haan so you and CR give it to me"
She bobs her head in positive.
He scratch his forehead "And how are the preparations going on?"
She try to guess what he is talking about, but as she couldn't so she ask awkwardly "Preparations sir?"
"Hmm of, Department Fest !"
"Oh, Um..aa Great!" She said Rising up her shoulders a little
Actually the situation is also awkward because He never stopped any student and had a conversation with them like this and that so too random.
"Tell me about it" He said suddenly
"About what?" She is seriously so blank in front of him right now.
"The theme and how you will be the planning, I need to tell it to Sanjay sir" He said calmly
Amrita nods and start explaining everything to him "so .."
Abhimanyu actually listened to her idea until she finished speaking, without interrupting her.
"Hmm Nice, but can I suggest something?" He asked placing his hand on his waist and lifted up his on arm in the mid air
"Sure sir"
"Aa soo, Instead of making just the designs, make small monuments of the architectures , It will be attractive and less time taking. Painting and drawing them just on the borders will take time" He suggested and Amrita gave it a thought
"It's Actually a Nice Idea Sir, Will tell everyone know about the changes"
He smiled and he actually forgot about Professor Soniya who has left already.
Now they both stood in silence. Amrita glanced at him and looked away, Tucking her hair strand behind her ear.
Then she thought of book recommendation "Sir, this semester which book we should prefer?"
"There are 3 main books which can help you a lot but one of these books, it's language is complicated even I can't understand it properly " He shrugged and she giggled
He smiled and continued "so, I will tell in the class if I will find it's replacement"
She nods "Okay sir"
He wanted to ask her why she always stay alone but dropped the idea as it would be a personal matter.
He take a deep breath "Okay then, I have a class to take Amrita"
"Sure sir, Thank you"
He smiled before walking away from her.
Amrita smiled to herself and held the book in her hand close to her chest.

Amrita and the juniors are making the design on the cardboard and only one of her classmates as a senior is with Her to help, while others are practising their anchoring, calling the guests and other stuffs.
The juniors come to her showing if they made it correct and if any modifications are required but Amrita approved it. In fact now she is actually liking the responsibility as she does have something else to think about apart from Studies and Abhimanyu Sir !
She smiled and looked around.
After preparations for one period, Amrita packed her stuff and helped the juniors to keep the decor work in the side.
Shahid locks the department room once everyone was out and quickly started walking beside Amrita "Hey"
"Oh Hi" She smiled
"You are doing nice work there" Shahid pointed out at the department room
"Thank you" She said like a kid with excitement
"Whose Class is it by the way?" He asked frowning
"Abhimanyu Sir"
"Oh...tsk I don't feel like taking his class!"
She frown "Why?"
"The topic is boring which he is teaching"
She doesn't say anything and just kept on walking.
"Actually he is also teaching it in a very boring manner this time"
She shook her head "before starting the topic he already said that he has tried to make it a little better but the chapter is actually boring and even we might feel it"Â she defended immediately
Shahid chuckle "why all the girls are so defensive for him"
Amrita shrugged "Don't know about other's but I consider him and Sanjay sir as a very dedicating and hardworking professors, the effort's these two put on us no one else does"
Shahid nod looking at her with a small smile and from the corridor, Abhimanyu saw both of them entering the class while talking together.
Looks like someone got a male "friend" he thought in his mind but when he entered the class he found Amrita sitting with a girl instead of Shahid !! He is sitting on the bench beside her though.
He smiled at everyone and started with the lecture of today.

When the lecture was Over of the last class, Shahid went up Amrita who is going downstairs and asked "Would you like to do Anchoring with me?"
She frowned "me? Anchoring?" She shook her head "no"
"But you give nice presentations, every professor says good to you"
She shook her head "No Shahid, I am better off on the back than front. Please don't force me in this"
Amrita walks to the main door of the college and Abhimanyu is also just leaving.
"See I would have asked Baani also but since that guy has warned us, I am not taking any risks"
"What happened to Shambhavi?" Amrita asked
"She insisted me to do the anchoring and said to look for a partner"
She sighed "I am sorry but I can't do this" She waits for her father to come and pick her up.
Shahid loosen up his shoulder and Abhimanyu stares at them which he shouldn't be doing at the first place. When he realised it's wrong he opened the gate of his car and slides in.
But then he saw Amrita Waving a bye at Shahid Direction and he smiled sweetly at her.
She left in a car and Shahid kept looking at her car and then face palms sighing.
Does he have crush on Amrita? Abhimanyu thought, looks like he does!!
Abhimanyu tapped his fingers on the steering wheel of his car and picked up his mobile phone and googled "how to know if guy has a crush on..."
Abhimanyu Halt, What am I doing?? He immediately delete the search and Shook his head. He drives to his parent's house as tomorrow is a weekend.
He can stay with his parents but then college travelling would take him more than 2 hours, which would be so much hectic for him, So it's always the weekends and holidays he mostly spends with them.

Having Dinner with his parents, his mother ask "how is your college Going Abhi?"
"It is going well Mom, students are preparing for fest so I am getting free time as well" He lick his finger as he is eating Rice with hands.
"Hmm Any female professor is there whom you find good for..."
"Mom I said no marriage talks"
"I am not talking about marriage, I am asking if anyone likes you and if you"
"No !" He said immediately "And Anirudh said that tomorrow there is a party in his house, for his parents anniversary"
"Oh It's been long meeting that boy and his wife Dharna, He is happily married" His mother said the last part deliberately and Abhimanyu Looked at his Father who is smiling.
Abhimanyu roll his eyes "Mom !"
"What?"
"I will also marry ! I told you na before 37!!"
"Haan I know, Did I say anything to you?"
Abhimanyu shake his head and smile. After Dinner he go to his room and take the football in his hand.
He does a little practice of new tricks in the hall.
"Abhimanyu Go to the ground and play not here ! Last time you broke the tubelight"
"But I also got it repaired" He holds the football "Okay I am going to play with the society kids"
"Better ! And no need to do unnecessary use of money just because you are earning"
Abhimanyu hug his mother and kiss her forehead "Okay my Mother India"
She smiled and pulled his cheek.
