Amrita is going to the canteen when Baani joined her "Do you eat from canteen always?"
Amrita shook her head "No, I eat the lunch packed by my mother, in the lawn or sometimes here"
"Oh, I was looking for you since past three days in the canteen but couldn't find you"
"For me?" Amrita asked
"Yes, We sit together in class so we can sit together for lunch as well Amrita and if you don't know, then we are friends!"
Amrita halt "Friends?"
Baani smiled "Yup ! I know we haven't talked soooo much in the past 4 years but I have always found you soft and nice girl. It was just me being trying to hold onto friends who didn't let me be friends with someone other than them or else I we would have been friends Amrita"
Amrita beamed with Happiness "Let's have lunch in the Lawn..Together"
Amrita Share her paratha with Baani and speaks "You know Baani, Girl's were whispering to each other looking at your boy friend when you came to college today"
Baani Frown "Hunh? How?"
"From what I heard was that, they were saying, He isn't Baani's Boyfriend but maybe brother, but they don't look alike so boy friend only"
Baani laughed shaking her head "well...I will tell you a secret but only if you promise me that you will keep it to yourself only"
"Okay, I promise"
"Not even Abhimanyu Sir"
Amrita blink her eyes "Wh-why would I tell him?"
Baani shrugged "When we have crush on someone we do tend to reveal them few secrets"
Amrita looked away in shyness "I have...just a light crush on him"
"Mhm I observe that" Baani teased and Amrita Bit her lips
"Okay, I trust you Amrita but if you will break my trust, I would never talk to you again"

Baani sighed "Om Upadhyay is My Husband !"
Amrita stare at her and just kept staring.
Baani giggled "Om and I have been childhood friends and our parents got us Married when they...." Baani tells her the whole story (Her book name - And He Became My husband)
Amrita cup her mouth "Oh My God ! This is..I don't know, Umm Congratulations? What should I say?"
Baani Smiled "Thank you Amrita"
"How do you feel being married?" She asked with excitement "Your Husband is dream boy of everyone!"
Baani took a deep breath and expressed how she is feeling currently being married to Om and Amrita listened to her. Finally there is someone she is listening to, someone is sharing something very personal to her...this makes her feel special.
"Aww touchwood Baani, that's so cute!"
"I know but you know what, My Husband is the cutest" Baani whispered in the end
Amrita feels like crying in adoration!
"How much is your age gap with him?"
"7 years !"
Amrita gets shocked "7? You don't feel awkward?"
Baani shrugged "nope and actually it doesn't even matter as well because there is understanding, respect and...a very strong bond between me and Om ! So Age gap gets eliminated and actually in a way it is nice also, He is mature and very calm ! He handle me sooo well"
"So age doesn't matter in love or feelings?"
Baani pass her a teasing smile "why are you asking"
"Just like that ! Umm we have class with Abhimanyu Sir, we will get late" She started packing her lunch
"We can go a bit late Amrita" Said Baani Holding her wrist
"No, he won't like it"
"It's college, we can go to the class 15 minutes Late and you are always the first one in his class, You can be late once"
They wash their hand "But Baani, We will miss something important as he will start teaching"
"He is gonna take oral test in the starting 10 minutes and in his class, You me and 2 kids only answer, let him scold them" She winks at Amrita
"Baani, I think his mood will get Off"
Baani giggles and holds her shoulder "he is a professor Amrita, He has so many classes to teach ! Sometimes it's important that his mood get sour and he scold the students who depend of students like you and me, while they all just relax and cheat in their exam. Professors teach us, they prepare notes for us and if only 4 people are studying out of 50 ! Then I think we should let the other's suffer"
Amrita does agree to Baani to what she is saying.
"Plus you know Amrita, back benchers are just over hyped, people consider them cool because they are enjoying their life instead of studying. I mean I get it that it is important to have fun but telling that toppers are boring and Bookworm, is not right ! Toppers are very cool, they are just thinking about their future because how much I hate to admit it...but our marks and grades do decide our good future. For a top university or for a Job, you need to scores, grades and for that you need to Study !" Baani said in one breath
Amrita hold her shoulder "Relax !"
Baani sigh "Even then we get hate ! For just because we priorities our studies?"
"We are not hated, People get envious of Us !" Said Amrita making Baani smile "and somehow we also get envious of back benchers to be honest as...we don't go for much fun like them"
"Tsk, correction, Fun can happen even if you dance alone and I know you get what I mean" Baani fold her arms shrugging
Amrita nods grinning "Yes I do"
Abhimanyu is teaching the class and he look at his watch, Amrita is not in the class today, but he did saw her in the morning.
His mood is pissed off as students are not studying and are not even able to answer simple questions which he has asked.
"You guys tell me how should I teach you? I can provide notes, the ppt, even take extra classes but in the end it's you guys who has to study!" He said trying to control his bitter tone
Then entered Amrita and Baani together in the class not looking at him, going to the last bench, Baani has held Amrita's hand as she is scared.
"Stop both of you" said Abhimanyu sharply
Amrita looked at Baani with scared expressions. Baani close her eyes at her and tell her to relax.
They both turn around to face him.
"Is it the time to be in the Class?" He asked raising his eye brows
Amrita held Baani's hand tightly.
"You both are 20 minutes late !" Said Abhimanyu making Amrita shiver, though he didn't shout but his voice isn't even soft !
Then Baani spoke up "Sir, Shilpa Mam told us to go and check in the market if the hoodie's are printed nicely for the department. She told me in the morning to take someone along with me, After lunch Amrita and I went there but by the time we reached here we got late !" She lied perfectly and actually she was given the task by mam but she sent their juniors for that work.
Amrita just looks at Abhimanyu, feeling sooooo guilty "Sorry Sir, we won't repeat it again" She said genuinely and Abhimanyu's anger was melting.
"Okay, you both can sit..."
They both turned around to go at the last
"On the first bench ! Why are you guys going back? And even you all at the back, shift to the front benches"
Amrita and Baani sat in front of him and even the back benchers came to the front.
Then Abhimanyu began to teach the old topics and students began to ask their doubts.
Soon the class was over and Abhimanyu was done with the attendance as well.
"We will meet next week!" He said packing his bag
Amrita took out the assignments and rush behind him "Sir, Abhimanyu Sir"
He stop on his way and turn towards her.
She breathed slowly and give him the assignments "The assignments, 5 students have not given it"
He hold them up "Send me the names of those students"
She nods and he was about to leave when she called him again "Sir!"
"Hmm?"
He looked at her and she is unable to look at him.
She fiddle with her fingers "Sir I am sorry !"
He fold his arms and a small smile form on his lips "It's okay, sometimes coming late is fine"
She looks at him shocked.
He sigh "I have done that during my college time as well and I was just taking the test and I knew you and Baani would have answered them any how"
"You are not angry?"
"I was but I am okay now" he shrugged "also"
"Also?"
He shook his head "Nothing...send me the names" He turned around and left, keeping the lines to himself that your face let him know about the lie which Baani said confidently.

She has sent the names to Abhimanyu and he checks the no of Assignments he has with him.
He frown and text Amrita "8 assignments are Missing"
Amrita frown - No Sir There are 5 only left.
Counting again he calls Amrita making her heart jump out.

Relax Amrita, Relax, She picks up the call "H-hello Sir?" She holds the pillow
"Umm Amrita how many students are in your class"
"Aa 68 sir"
"But I have 60 assignments, did you missed giving me 3 assignments?"
She shook her head "No sir...You asked my assignment along with Baani and Viveks way before Friday sir, I gave those to you already"
"Oh wait" He opened his drawer and found the three assignments "Ss Sorry Amrita, My mistake it slipped out of my mind"
She smiled feeling giddy "It's okay sir"
"I read your assignment, It's nice but you forgot to add conclusions, that is must Amrita"
She scratch her head "I am sorry sir, I will take care from next time"
"Hmm Okay do one thing text these 5 students that they have time till Monday or else they will be marked Zero" Abhimanyu place the three assignments with the bundled one
"Sir me? Can you please tell the CR to do it?"
He frown "why? I am asking you to do it"
"Aa sir actually, In our class students listen to CR only, I already told these 5 students personally for assignment already"
Abhimanyu sat on his bed "Amrita"
"Yes sir" She became nervous all of a sudden the way he called her
"If they will not listen to you, I will take care of it ! And if they say anything rubbish to you, let me know, I will handle them myself then"
She bit her lower lip "O-okay Sir"
"Bring confidence in yourself Amrita, I know you possess a lot of qualities, you just need to let yourself do what you want to do" He tried to make her understand
Her stomach felt butterflies "I will Sir" She said in low voice
"Louder"
"I will sir" she said louder and he smiled "Good ! Now warn those students"
She smiled "Okay Sir"
He disconnected the call with a smile and she messaged the 5 people in polite tone.

"Come Amrita, let's Play!" Said Baani as soon as they reached the play ground
"Play what?"
Baani held her hand and ran with her to the basketball court.
There is an extra basketball and she starts dribbling with it "You know how to play?"
Amrita nods "Yeah, Papa taught me"
Baani grins "Cool, then come on my friend"
Amrita throw her bag on the side and go behind Baani. Amrita skilfully takes the basketball from Baani and runs towards the basket.
She throw it to the basket but missed the shot "Shit"
Baani quickly grab ball "don't be sad, let's go for it again"
Amrita and Baani play the game and soon some boys also joined in them for the game.
Abhimanyu who was going to take the class, found Amrita playing basketball. He looked at her in surprise and in fact she is playing better than the boys.
Once she made a basket she clap her hands with Baani and laughed in joy.
Breathing heavily she looks at her left side, noticing Abhimanyu. A sparkling eye contact and she unknowingly nods her head to acknowledge him. Baani frown and looked at Abhimanyu, even she bow her head a little.
Abhimanyu smiled at them and left.
Baani wiggled her eyebrows at Amrita and she blushed "What?"
"Look at yourself, Forgetting where you are when you look at him"
Amrita doesn't say anything on that "One more match"
"Ready!"
They played for some more time and then few boys asked for their social media id and they even gave it as they were genuinely nice. Baani will tease Om, She thought giggling to herself.

Abhimanyu and few students are there talking to him, He laughs as they are entertaining him with their random talks.
"Sir this guy is the real Suneo of our group, rich brat" Said one guy
Baani Drag Amrita towards him "Why are we going there?" Amrita asked frowning
"To just listen to the gossip cutie" Baani winked at her
Abhimanyu glance at Amrita and then again back to the students.
"Sir will there be a department trip?"
Abhimanyu's Shrugged "I have no idea about it as it's been just 6 month of me being here, but Sanjay sir told me you guys went last year so this year it is cancelled"
"Aree sir but in last year we do deserve one more trip!" Said a girl pouting
Amrita stared at her, why is she talking in a child like voice??
Baani and Amrita look at each other and control their laugh for the same thing.
"Where did you guys go by the way?" Abhimanyu asked leaning to the wall folding his arms and Amrita's toes curl up as he looked at her.
Automatically she held Baani's hand tightly.
"Odisha sir" Answered the same girl "But not everyone went there just 30 students from our class"
Baani gets a call from Om, so she excuse herself and beside Amrita stood Shahid and Smiled at her.
Abhimanyu looks at both of them and Basically how Shahid is leaning closer to her asking what they all are talking about.
"Okay it's time for class, everyone to the class" He said looking at Shahid
They all nodded and walked towards the class. Baani came running and joined Amrita again "Why are we going to the class?"
"Don't know, sir said it's time for the class" She whispered as Abhimanyu is behind them only
Baani pouts and then make her show Om's message and Amrita giggles "he is so romantic"
"Well" Baani grins hugging herself
