Double update !
Amrita has worn the dress and did a light make up with pearl earring and hair styled with a bow in the back of her hair, she is looking like a princess.
Her father has dropped her and booked the second floor in the restaurant, so that there is not much of a disturbance from random outsiders.
It's 8 already and she is waiting for everyone. She calls Baani and She would be reaching in 10 minutes. Then she call other people but they all say that they can't make it or are busy.
Amrita's heart dropped and didn't had the courage to call her juniors and ask them.
The waiters and workers in the restaurant are looking at her so she orders a juice for herself, controlling her tear's.
Looking at her watch, she is still expecting someone to come and surprise her but no one did. She looked down and saw Baani Entering the restaurant, looking around.
A deep relief sigh escaped Amrita's lips and she rushed down towards her, really wanting a hug at the moment
"Baani" Screams Amrita and hugged her tightly "Happy Birthday Amrita " Baani said Hugging her back with a smile.
"Thank you" Amrita starts crying, atleast Baani is there, at least she came and didn't disappoint her like always.
"Hey why are you crying?" Baani asked breaking the hug , Amrita she rub her tears
She smiles "These are happy Tears, You are my only Friend at my birthday"
"What?" Baani asked in shock, She thought Amrita got few more friends in the trip and she really felt that.
She nods "I invited two three more but they all said they don't have time" Amrita felt heavy on her chest and hard on her throat in pain, she rubbed her tears away "but it's okay" Amrita tried to Smile !
"Aww Amrita don't cry, you are looking adorable, don't ruin your make up"
Baani rub her tears gently and hug her again, rubbing her back softly. Amrita close her eyes and took a deep breath. Not more tears she told herself.
"Don't worry we both will enjoy" said Baani cheering her up
Amrita nods grinning, happy that now she can celebrate her birthday with Baani if not anyone else.
"But can I ask you something, Who are these people?"
Baani point out
Amrita looked around "Oh, I don't know, Our party place is on the second floor"
"Oh okay"
Amrita look behind Baani "Are you waiting for those people?" Baani asked softly
She nods and Baani hold her shoulder "If you want I can call professor Abhimanyu here" she tease her
"Wh-what?"
"Yes only if you want" Baani shrug
"Why would I want that?" Amrita said looking everywhere but Baani
Baani look at her face narrowing her eyes a little "You really don't want that?" Amrita looks away smiling.
Baani giggle and they both go on the second floor.
Baani is clicking her pictures and she is feeling conscious "Amrita you are looking so beautiful! Trust me"
"No Baani, I am not so pretty" She said rubbing her arms consciously
Baani sigh "Amrita You are beautiful. I know it hurt sometimes when you think of it, But I know how beautiful you are from inside and outside as well"
They both smile at each other "Now Bring confidence in you"
She takes a deep breath and again Baani click her pictures. She poses like a dope, Baani grin that she is comfortable now.
Amrita is a little happy now that she can be herself in front of Baani, She doesn't have to make extra effort's. She planned for the restaurant thing so that people find her fun and cool but she understood that efforts should be made for those who care for you genuinely. And to Choose them who choose you !
Amrita opened the Gift Which Baani bought for her and Gasped "Oh my God, How did you knew?"
Baani shrugged "I am just a good observer"
Amrita hugged Baani and held the harry potter book collection with her "thank you! I love you"
"Love you too Amy!"
Amrita orders food for both of them and then Baani excuse herself from Amrita and ask the staff to arrange a cake for Amrita.
Then Baani pats her phone on her palm and think "should I call professor Abhimanyu ? Or not?"
It is last year, from next months we are having exam's, Amrita and He might not meet again even if things gets awkward today.
So she took a deep breath and call him, For Amrita !!
Abhimanyu has just came out from a shower when his phone began to ring.
He frown looking at the unknown number. He pick up the call after 2 rings "Hello"
"Umm Hello Sir this is Baani"
He ruffle his hair with a towel "Baani, Yes Say, Do you have any doubts?"
"Umm aa no sir, aa actually I wanted to request you something"
Abhimanyu spray his perfume on his body "Request? What?" He frowned
She take a deep breath "Sir today is Amrita's Birthday and" she gulps "And She kind of wish to have you here at Blue-Whale restaurant for her birthday. She can't tell you this because she felt it would be awkward as you are professor"
He pause and process her words. Today Is Amrita's Birthday and she wish him to be there. He stare at himself in the mirror and then looked away.
After a minute he asked "Why does she want me on her birthday?"
"Because you are her favourite Professor, What ever you tell us to do she does that perfectly. She admires you sir. She would never say this but I wanted to let you know, She is my very good friend that's why"
He said nothing, shocked, Happy, fluttered all at the same time.
I am her favourite Professor?? She admires me?? This thought made his belly turn up in a knot. He scratch his beard when Baani added "sir she would be the happiest girl today if you would come and she will never forget this day as well rest is your choice"
"Umm I..." He didn't say anything
"You take your time sir, we are here till 11pm maybe and then we will leave, now I have to go, she must be waiting for me"
Abhimanyu nods "Yeah bye"
Baani cut the call and get back to Amrita.
"You took so much time" She said and Baani smiled a little "Sorry, Let's Dance?"
They got on the dance floor and Baani kept looking at the stair's. Maybe he won't come today.
They do a couple dance and they both laugh while doing crazy Desi Dance.
Here Abhimanyu is confused what to do, when he gets a call from Anirudh "Dude where are you?"
"I..home" He said rubbing his head
"Why? We guys are having party at my place have you forgotten? We are waiting!"
Abhimanyu closed his eyes "Aa I know"
"Are you okay?" Anirudh asked
"I will call you later Bye"
"But Abhim-" He cuts the call and throw the phone on the bed.
He takes a deep breath and think !

Baani saw the Waiter bringing the Cake, so she quickly held Amrita's Hand "Come Amrita" she pull her to the Table
Amrita looks at the cake and Baani Hold her shoulder from behind "Happiest Birthday Amrita !"
She cup her mouth and look at Baani with tears. She hugs her tightly "Thank you so very much Baani. Thank you much"
"Let's cute the cake now" Baani wipe her tears and she light up the candle and Give Amrita The knife to cut.
Amrita is feeling so overwhelmed and happy that she wants to cry more.
Abhimanyu came in the restaurant breathing heavily and looked for Amrita. He asked the staff if anyone is having birthday party and the staff point at the second floor.
Abhimanyu sigh when he saw Amrita and Baani, their back facing him, He then stood behind Amrita and found that she was about to blow the candles.
"Happy Birthday Amrita" He breathed out behind her.
Amrita and Baani halt. Baani grin and Look at Amrita's Shocked Face.
Baani look at professor Abhimanyu who is looking so smart and well dressed casually, plus he also have a gift for her. He hass aaa ggiiifftttt for Amrita !
Amrita close her eyes, is she thinking about Abhimanyu? She was about to lick her lips but stop as her lipstick might wipe off "Umm Baani, I can hear Professor Abhimanyu's Voice, Can you as well?"
Baani nodded cutely "I can see him as well" she gestures behind Amrita before looking back at her.
Amrita turn around slowly praying in her mind and her lips parted.
Her eyes met with his and both of them felt butterflies. Abhimanyu kept looking at her, He notices her new hair style, her earring, the Dress in which she is looking like a beautiful princess, so elegant. He is mesmerised. He couldn't have imagined her this beautiful like the way she is looking now.
"Happy Birthday Amrita" He give her the gift and she holds it and look Baani still not believing
"S-sir ? Abhimanyu ?" She looks at her and then him
"I called him" she said grinning
Amrita sighed and mashed her lips together, her heart fluttering that Abhimanyu is here for her birthday, all the sadness which she was feeling is vanished because those she invited didn't came but he did ! Don't know why, but he did !!
She smiles finally "Thank you sir for coming"
"It's alright" he smiles at her "You are 24 today?"
She nod immediately like a kid. She is holding the plastic knife so tightly feeling giddy, Baani hold her hand to calm her down "let's Cut the cake?" Baani said and They both nod.
Abhimanyu sir stand on her left side and Baani stand on her right side.
They clap and sing for her "Happy Birthday To you, Happy birthday Dear Amrita, Happy Birthday To you" Abhimanyu look at her with gentle smile on his lips when she close her eyes to make a wish. Her face soft in the candle light.
Amrita prays in her heart "keep my Parents happy and Keep Baani and Abhimanyu sir Blessed !"
She blow the candle and cut the cake, but She gets confused whom to fed the came first, Abhimanyu points at Baani.
Then not to make it awkward Abhimanyu Take the cake from her hand and Have a little bit.
Baani make her eat the cake and hug her tightly "Happy Birthday Amrita ! May you be happy and more happy each day and sweet like this always"
Amrita giggles "Thank you Baani !"
Abhimanyu smiled looking at their bond.
Then Baani gets a call from Om so she excuse herself and let them both be together for a while.
Now Amrita and Abhimanyu Are Alone. She tuck her hair behind her ear and they stood awkwardly.
"Umm please sit sir" She said pointing at the sofa and he sat down quietly and saw his phone pinging up with messages from his friends, cursing him for ditching them.
He switch off his phone and looks at Amrita.
"Aa this Hairstyle is looking good on you" He said nervously
She touch her hair "Umm Thank you sir"
"Your specs?" He asked
"Lenses" She answered
"Would you like to eat something? Shall I order?" She point out at the staff
Abhimanyu shook his head along with hand "No no, I am good"
"I hope you didn't had any problem to be here sir!" She asked softly
He shook his head "No, not at all" He lick his lips "So how are you feeling? At 24?"
She looked around "I don't know, Old?"
He chuckled "at 24 you are feeling old, then what should I feel when I would be 33?" He raised his eyebrows
Her smile fell "Oh, I am sorry sir"
"Are why are you sorry? I know I am getting aged" he shrugged
"But 32 isn't that much, 40 is a lot"
He chuckled at her cuteness "Yes Amrita" And then he slide the gift towards her "For you, um I don't know if you would like it"
She looks at the gift "It wasn't required sir"
"Without gift I wouldn't have been here" He smiled "and plus I earn a good amount by teaching you" he flexed
Amrita smiled and opened the box and saw a beautiful pendant making her heart stop.
Abhimanyu looked at her expression "you liked it?"
"It's.." She smiled "Beautiful" She whispered holding it in her hand.
"It matches with your outfit" He said grinning
"Oh..Yes ! Shall I wear it now?" She asked confused
"All yours now" He smiles and she slides the pendant to her neck and tried to hook it.
She again tried it but is unable to.
"Umm" Abhimanyu Scratches his neck "Should I help?"
Amrita's Heart stop for a while and she gave it a thought. Maybe this day won't repeat Again Amrita, let it happen!!
Before Abhimanyu could say No, She nodded her head and his heart flipped. She keeps the pendant in the box.
She stood up and turned her back at him. Even He got up, his heartbeat rising and stepped closer to her.
Baani who was going back to them stopped and cupped her mouth in shock. She immediately hide behind and began to record the moment grinning like an idiot.
Abhimanyu took the pendant in his hand and then leaned a little closer to her "Slide you hair to the Front Amrita"
She felt goosebumps with his voice so near her and she slide her hair on one side of her shoulder.
Abhimanyu gulped and moved closer to her, sliding the pendant to her neck, gently removing her hair, his shaking breath while making her wear the pendant and her taking deep breaths, Her palms in a fist.
She close her eyes when his fingers brushed lightly on her nape while hooking it.
He hooks the pendant and whispered "Done"
She turn around to face him and touched the pendant with her finger, then look in his eyes "How does it look?" She asked in low voice
"Beautiful" He said looking in her eyes instead of the pendant
Her heart thumping loudly in her chest, She lowered her gaze but he couldn't stop looking at her. Not even Second.
She looks back at him "It must be expensive right?"
He smiled showing her his dimple's and Shrugged. Stopping himself from saying that expensive or not, it has no value in front of the happiness he made her feel by just being here to her birthday and how she is looking at him, making him feel so special. It's Purely More expensive Feeling !
A phone call from Amrita's Father broke the eye contact between them, both of them took a step back taking a deep breath, their faces Red in shyness, unable to look at each other.

Om is here and he is wishing Amrita Happy birthday, plus he also brought Chocolates for her.
"He is Professor Abhimanyu Om" Baani introduced and they shook hands
"He is my Husband Sir" Baani said and Abhimanyu is shocked "You are married? I thought he is your boyfriend"
Om grin's "I am Her husband, Boyfriend, Friend all in One" He slide his hand on Baani's waist pulling her closer.
Amrita and Abhimanyu sir smile's looking at them.
"How would you be going?" Abhimanyu sir asked Amrita and she smiled nervously "I have called my father to pick me up"
Abhimanyu composed the smile on his face. A little disappointed.
"But he is not coming" Baani said and held Amrita's hand scooting her closer to herself "I have talked to Uncle and Aunty. You are coming for night stay with me"
"Wha-what?"
"Yes birthday Girl" she pull her chubby cheeks
Amrita grins and starts to cry again "It will be my first night stay"
"Aww Amy" Baani hug her.
Amrita then turned again towards Abhimanyu and put forward her hand "Thank you so much Sir for coming for my Birthday"
He slide his hand in her's and she blushed, feeling current with his hold. He smile at her gently, feeling nice to hold her hand for the very first time.
Then she left with Baani and He smiled rubbing his hair.
He then took out his phone and saw so many missed calls from Anirudh.
Abhimanyu closed his eyes tightly. Let's Face this Abhimanyu!
