Amrita is studying for her entrance exam but at time her mind drifts towards Abhimanyu!! When she came back from her last exam, She hugged Her mother and cried feeling so emotional.
She knows it's not just a mere crush on Abhimanyu but a lot more than that, but she can't think of any future with him as the college is over and probability of them being together is zero !
She will miss his classes, his smile, him calling her name, Motivating her, appreciating her, everything!!
Right now it's Raining and she close the document of a book and look at her picture with Abhimanyu, be it of farewell or trip !! The candid one mostly.
She looks out in the rain and close her eyes.
Rain drops fall on his face and he open his eyes, Running his hand through his hair. He is in the balcony drenching, Trying to stop himself from missing Amrita but she has captured his mind and heart so strongly that now even he doesn't want to stop thinking about her.
But he needs to do something, Talk to someone and maybe then he can know what he should do. In fact, yesterday he prepared a whole message to send to Amrita but felt that she might get uncomfortable so he erased it all.
He takes a deep breath and walk in his room, Take his phone and search "is it okay to have feelings for your student?"

Anirudh looks at his watch and then at Abhimanyu who is struggling to speak what's going on his heart and mind.
"For fucking 30 minutes I am waiting for you to speak about your "important stuff" but here you are just eating food and drinking coke, Speak up Man !" He said being impatient
Abhimanyu stop eating and cleaned his hand with tissue. Drank water and took a deep breath "What do you think about.." He paused
"About?"
"About 8 years of Age Gap between a girl and a Boy!" He said not looking at him
Anirudh stares at him "What should I think?"
Abhimanyu gives him a look "is it alright to have feelings for a girl who is 8 years younger to a guy?" He asked clearly
Anirudh smirked "Are you asking me, is it alright for YOU to have feelings for a girl 8 years younger?"
Abhimanyu didn't answer to him "just Say what do you think"
Anirudh chuckled and tapped his hand on the table "I think you should be more open and clear to me Abhi!"
"Clear about?"
"About what you are thinking!! For the girl !"
Abhimanyu rubbed his hand on his face "I don't know! I think it's not right"
"Why?"
He shrugged "Because She is my Student ! It's weird that I have feeling for someone who is 8 years younger than me and also because she is so sweet and polite! I don't know if I deserve her"
"It's Amrita Right?" Anirudh passed a small smile
Abhimanyu looked at him and then away.
Anirudh snorts a laugh "Well...Abhimanyu, it's not wrong to have feelings for someone who is 8 years younger to you!"

"Listen to me completely Abhi!"
Abhimanyu nods and Anirudh continues "And She being your student is I know is a bit concerning but her college is complete, she is an adult as well. You are no more her Professor and for time being think that if she wouldn't have been your student but someone you met at a party or something and kept on meeting and even then you would have developed feelings for her...Then? Would it had been weird Abhi?"
Abhimanyu gave it a thought and shook his head slowly.
"And now, people do marry at that age gap as well and even earlier. My parents have 10 years of age gap !! But they look so compatible!! No one cares what their age is Abhimanyu. For how long people will see your age with the one you have liking for ? 1 year 2 year, and then? No one cares ! It's you and your feelings and not theirs !" Anirudh explained
"What if Amrita finds it weird?"
Anirudh rolled his eyes "You are her favourite Professor !! She wanted you to be at her birthday that means she have a crush on you"
Abhimanyu rub his head "Umm Actually, I think she does"
Anirudh gave him a bored look "Then what about you? Do you really like her?"
Abhimanyu felt a little shy but said "Yes, I can't forget her, I miss her so much ! In my dreams I find her. I...I do"
"Then? Efforts? If you really like her then put efforts or else someone else would come and take her away from you. You have time ! Things change, That Vinita, She came to you and what if you would have accepted her proposal in sympathy?"
Abhimanyu Frowned "What do you mean?"

"It deserved to be ruined!" He smirked

He laughed "should I call you creepy old man if you are regretting so much"
Abhimanyu held a fork in his hand "Don't you dare Anirudh!"
He laughed "Okay, Okay ! Sorry"
Then they both sat quietly for some time "So how do you plan to approach Amrita?"
Abhimanyu Rub his beard "Will think ! Right now my mind is blank but I am relaxed after so much over thinking"

He place his head on the table and Anirudh added "Sun tu aur Amrita sach me relationship me aye, Aur toh kuch gadbad karegi, toh tu usko yeh bhi nhi bol sakta...." (listen, if you and Amrita really come into a relationship and if she make many blunder, then you can't even say her that...)
Abhimanyu Frown "Kya?"(what?)
Anirudh grin "Choti Bacchi Ho kya?" (Are you a small Kid) He laughed like a hyena banging his hand on the table.
Abhimanyu rubbed his head, mumbling to himself "kese bana liye maine isko apna Pram Mitra?" (How did I made him my dearest Friend?)
Abhimanyu look at him and Smile, "waise bahot dost bhai, Bus 5 minute ke liye dimag ghutne se sar me aa jata hai" (But, He is a very nice friend but only for 5 minutes his brain reaches his head from his knee) He thought
"Bus karega? (Will you stop it now?)" Abhimanyu Urged
"Nhi Meri khud ki car hai, Usse jaunga (No I have my own Car I will go in that)" He laughed more and while laughing he slipped from his chair
Everyone around the restaurant looked at him and even the staff but they didn't react cause it's an every day thing.
Everyone looked at Abhimanyu and he shrugged as if he doesn't know Anirudh.
Anirudh got up, wiping the tears from his eyes "bhai, agar tere pass car nhi hai, toh aaj meri taraf se tujhe pepsi, kyunki..." (bro, if you don't have Car, then from My side pepsi for you because...)
Abhimanyu join his hand in front of him "Mat bol mere bhai, mat bol" (please don't say it brother, please don't)
Anirudh laughed and still completed the sentence ignoring the plead "piyo Pepsi chalo taxi" (drink Pepsi Drive Car)

She grin "Anirudh, So Listen to your Mommy and don't tease your Best friend Itna. Aaj Ke liye jitna kiya hai rehne do, Koi Jokes nhi, Tum ghar aake mujhe sunna aur phir hum dono saath me Baccha Plan Karinge okay? (So listen to your Mommy and don't tease your best friend tuis much, for today leave it here, No jokes, Come back home, make me listen to them and then we will plan for kids okay?)"

"Haina ! God, I am so Lucky and soon even you would be if you can win Amrita's heart with efforts!"
Abhimanyu Smile warmly "I don't wanna Win her Heart, I want her to choose me as a person with whom she isn't scared, doesn't feel bounded and not hesitate to share her thoughts and pain ! I want to be that for her"
Anirudh Pats his back "You are already that kind of person"
