Chapter 731 Tell Me Twenty of Charlotteâs Habits
When Joe finished his push-ups, he turned around to see the groomsmen.
He chuckled in exasperation, âWhat are you guys doing?â
While others were still thinking of excuses, Trevor didnât bother finding one. He
lazily responded, âI suddenly realized my lower back isnât in great shape. Doing
push-ups might not be a good idea.â
âYouâre so young, and your lower backâs already giving out?â Joe mockingly
looked at him. He knew these guys wouldnât make his wedding easy.
But he was prepared for this.
Joe smirked and leaned in, whispering something into Trevorâs ear.
Initially nonchalant, Trevorâs face immediately turned pale. He stared wide-eyed
at Joe. âAre you this cunning?â
Joe chuckled. âIf Iâm asking you to be a groomsman, I have to keep an ace up
my sleeve.â
With a fierce glare at Joe, Trevor surprisingly started doing push-ups seriously.
Trevorâs transformation surprised everyone. Just yesterday, it was he who had been the most vocal about seizing the opportunity if Joe failed to marry
Charlotte.
But now, with just a few words from Joe, he obediently started doing push-ups.
Unfortunately, Trevor, who had completed the push-ups with a dark expression,
remained silent about Joeâs earlier threat. No matter how others asked, he
pretended not to hear and completed all the push-ups with a stern face.
After he finished, this task was barely considered complete.
It was only at this moment that Mandy opened the first door and extended her
hand towards Joe, saying, âHello, Mr. Smith. Wishing you and Miss Clinton a lifetime of unity and eternal happinessâ¦â
Joe handed her a gift without hesitation.
It was a rare occasion to catch the bossâs wedding, and there was no way she
would refuse a gift.
Mandy opened the gift box, and to her surprise, it contained a bank card!
Could a bank card be considered a wedding gift?
She looked up at Joe with delight. âMr. Smith, youâre generous! Marrying you was definitely the right choice for Miss Clinton!â
Joe smiled and said, âThank you.â
With that, he eagerly continued inside.
The second door was blocked by Lena. Lena smiled lightly at the door panel. âI
wonât make it difficult for you. Just tell me twenty of Charlotteâs habits, and youâll
win.â
Twentyâ¦
The crowd exchanged looks. Wasnât this a bit too difficult?
Knowing one or two of each otherâs little habits was simple enough, but knowing
twenty? That would require incredibly detailed observation.
However, Joe didnât hesitate in the least. He spoke right up, âShe likes to drink a
glass of warm water every morning when she wakes up. When sheâs stressed,
she enjoys eating ice cream, and when sheâs sad, she always unconsciously
folds origamiâ¦â
As he spoke, he became more and more spirited, and everyone listened with
increasing astonishment.
They all belonged to the same social circle of the Capital City and had heard
about the emotional entanglement between Joe and Charlotte. So, the fact that
he managed to win her back didnât come as too much of a surprise.
But it was precisely because everyone had seen Joeâs dignified demeanor that they were so astonished to see him remember someoneâs preferences in such
minute detail.
This was true love!
Joe didnât care about the gazes of others. He listed all twenty little habits without
hesitation. Lena carefully checked the content that Charlotte had prepared in
advance and was shocked to find that some of them were things Charlotte
herself hadnât even noticed.
She didnât continue to trouble Joe and said, âLet Gideon knock on the door.â
With a whoosh, everyoneâs gaze shifted to Gideonâs face.
