All eyes were on Jerome.
Jerome took out a special treasure map, cleared his throat, and said, âThis is
a special gift given to the family who found the most treasures today. Only
ladies can have it.â
Everyone rested their eyes on Charlotte.
Charlotte was also a little surprised. She was already happy that she had
gained those treasures and didnât expect that there would be an unexpected
surprise.
She stepped forward and took the treasure map. Then, she opened it and
saw that it was a simple route map.
Charlotte thought for a while. She took Joe by the hand, and they found the
final place where the treasure was hidden, which was the attic of the castle.
As soon as Charlotte opened the attic door, she held her breath.
The attic was filled with Bulgarian roses of various colors, from light to dark,
like a sea of roses.

She didnât believe that Jerome could just happen to buy her favorite Bulgarian
rose in her favorite color, and they were even put in the shape she liked.
Joe chuckled, âThis is the treasure you found.â
Charlotte took Joeâs hand, and the smile spread wider over her face. âYou are
my treasure.â
Charlotte didnât intend to have all the roses in the attic to herself. She packed
up four bouquets and delivered them to everyoneâs room in person.

Max was a single father, so he gave the roses to Evie. Evie thanked Charlotte
with a soft voice. âThank you!â
âYouâre welcome.â Charlotte smiled and touched Evieâs head. Evie lowered
her head shyly.
Charlotte came to the next room. She seemed to hear a muffled sound before
entering. She frowned slightly and knocked on the door.
She could clearly hear the sounds inside, but no one opened the door for her.
Just when Charlotte was about to turn around and leave, the door suddenly
opened a crack. Seeing Charlotte, Dawson opened the door with a smile and
said, âMiss Clinton, what can I do for you?â
Charlotte asked curiously, âWhere is Mabel?â

approached Mabel.
