âYouâre crazy!â Mandy looked at Jack in astonishment, shocked to find that he was serious. âJust because of that night?â
Jack leaned closer to Mandy aggressively. âSo what? You provoked me, so you should take responsibility.â
Jack didnât know why he was so fixated on Mandy. Every time they met, it was brief and strange, but it attracted him and made him unable to forget.
A person never knew when they started liking someone, and they couldnât tell the reason. But he knew clearly⦠he didnât want to miss her.
Seeing the seriousness, Mandy smiled slowly.
She reached out and hooked her hand around Jackâs neck. Her mouth brushed against his Adamâs apple, causing Jack to tremble.
âJust based on one time, how can you be sure that Iâm the person you likeâ¦â
Mandy pressed her mouth against Jackâs lips. The soft touch tore apart all of his rationality. He tightly gripped Mandyâs waist and held her in his arms.
He stared into Mandyâs eyes and said with hoarseness. âAre you sure?â
The last time could be attributed to the influence of drugs, but this time, they were both in a sober state.
If something were to happen againâ¦
Mandy chuckled and leaned close to Jackâs ear, biting his earlobe. âAre you unable to handle it?â
How could Jack resist?
He held Mandy tightly in his arms and strode towards the bedroom.
After years of abstinence, Jack was like a beast suddenly released from a cage, fierce and ruthless.
The next day, Mandy almost couldnât get out of bed.
Silently putting on her clothes, Mandy turned to look at the still-sleeping Jack and hesitated for a moment. Then, she took out a hundred-dollar bill and gently placed it on the bedside table.
After she left the bedroom, Jack opened his eyes. He saw the bill on the bedside table and felt a faint sarcasm.
Upon hearing the sound of the door outside, Jack slowly sat up and put the bill into his wallet without expression.
After leaving Jackâs home, Mandy was caught off guard by the cold air outside. She hadnât noticed the sudden temperature change these past few days.
Mandy cursed and coldly dialed a number on her phone. âCome pick me up.â
The person on the other end of the line gloated and laughed, âArenât you getting lost in men lately?
Now youâre willing to leave him, huh?â
âDo you believe that Iâll kill you on the next mission?â Mandy sneered and threatened.
âOkay, okay.â The person on the other end of the phone mumbled and quickly hung up.
Mandy looked around, preparing to find a place to shelter from the wind.
Then, a womanâs coat suddenly draped over her.
âYouâ¦â Mandy looked at the person in surprise. It turned out to be Jack who should be sleeping.
Jack was expressionless, he just said calmly, âItâs getting colder. Donât catch a cold.â
Mandy, who had planned to slip away, didnât reply.
Jack handed her a sandwich and turned to leave.
âHeyâ¦â Mandy subconsciously called out, and she felt a bit troublesome. It was supposed to be a silent departure without any burden, but nowâ¦
