Chapter 44: His Alpha Queen Chapter 48

justin and I spun around at the same time. I spotted Anna, who was one of the pack sluts, behind me. Don't get me wrong, Iusually try not to call anyone in the pack names, especially any derogatory name, but that is one of the only ways I can thinkof to describe Anna. She tries (and sometimes successfully) to sleep with any man that has any type of rank, just so that shecan try and convince them that they should choose her as their chosen mate. She tried to do it to Michael when he wasgoing to be the next Alpha. She spent months harassing him and trying to convince him that she would make the best Luna.My brother finally had to use his Alpha command in order to get her to leave him alone.

“And who do you think you are, Anna?” I asked her in a clipped tone.

“I am Justin's mate,” she said in her nasally voice.

I looked over at Justin and he looked appalled.

“Babe, I promise she is nothing to me!

Anna pushed herself in between the two of us and wrapped her arms around Justin's neck and was going in for a kiss.Before her lips could fully touch Justin's, something in me just snapped. I growled loudly and ripped her off of him withenough force to throw her to the ground.

“MY MATE" I roared, “Keep your filthy fucking hands off, what is mine?”

Anna got back up and went towards him again. Usually, I don't like using the Alpha command that I know I have, but she isreally starting to piss me off.

“You are not allowed to go anywhere near Justin Warner. Next time I catch you near my mate, I will personally see to yourpunishment? She whimpered as she bared her neck in submission to me.

I continued walking towards her, pressing my aura down on her, causing her to cry out from the sheer weight of mycommand. My breathing starts to get heavy from the energy that I am exerting while trying to use my aura to its full extent.justin pressed his hand to my arm and started to slowly rub up and down my arm. I let the feel of the sparks rushing up anddown my arm calm me.

“It's okay, love. Relax. I am only yours, no one else”

I felt the last of my anger slip away from me as Justin pulled me into his arms. He wrapped me in his arms and started towhisper how he was only mine and that he loved me.

He looked over his shoulder at Anna and he coldly stated, “I suggest you leave now. Don't come near me or my mate again. Ihave told you countless times, Anna, we are done and you were never my mate.”

I hear her sob as she gets back up and rushes off. I felt the prickle of tears in my eyes as Justin walked me to sit on thenearest bench.

“Baby, are you okay?”

I shook my head no and the first sob escaped my throat. He wrapped his arms around me and held me tightly.

“Baby, will you tell me what is bothering you?"

I tried to slow my breathing so that I could talk without hyperventilating. When I felt myself calm down, I asked him what isbothering me. “Justin, what is Anna to you? Did you sleep with her? Were you two a couple?”

Realistically, I know my reaction is stupid. I know that he has a past. I knew that he had had other girlfriends. And... knowthat he has had sex before, but there was something about Anna confronting me saying that justin is her mate that upsetme.

“Love, we were never an official couple. We would occasionally have sex. That was it. I never developed feelings for her. I toldher that there was to be no relationship and as soon as one of us started to get feelings, then it would end. I started to driftfar away from her when she started talking about wanting to be my chosen mate. I kept repeatedly telling her that I waswaiting for my fated mate.”

I hesitated. I had one more question, but I honestly was not sure if I even wanted the answer to it. His answer could possiblybreak me. I let him get too close. I was drowning in my emotions and it was starting to become too much for me to take.“When was the last time you two had sex?" I asked him hesitantly.

He placed his index finger under my chin and used it to lift my head, so that I was looking into his eyes. “Baby, if I tell you, isit going to hurt you? I promise it was before I found out you were my mate. If you want me to tell you when, then I will, butonly if you promise me it isn't going to hurt you, love. Promise me you will not let her get between us...

I stared into his eyes before I nodded my head. “I promise I will not let it hurt me. I promise that it won't get between us."“Remember the first day that I ran into you when you went to see Oliver while he was training with his father? I asked if youwanted to go to the movies with me and a few other people, including Michael..” he paused for a moment, looking towardsthe ground before he continued, “I was upset that you had turned me down again and I really just wanted to know you. So, Icancelled with the guys and decided to go to the party that Garrison was having. Anna was at the party too and she had kindof cornered me when I was talking to Garrison. I was angry, love. So, when she propositioned me to go to one of the rooms inGarrison's house, I decided “fuck it! I went with her and we had sex, but Michael ended up busting in with what looked likewas going to be his lady of the night. He punched me hard enough to knock me off my feet and he yelled at me. I left andwent for a run with Ares. I was angry and I used her. I just could not see why you refused to give me the time of day. Michaelwould repeatedly tell me that I needed to give you time. Eventually, you will come around and get to know me. He kepttelling me that you had some negative experiences in your life, but would not tell me what I was going against. Baby, itmeant nothing to me and I regretted doing it. The next day, I talked to Michael and we worked out everything and he mademe realize how fucking stupid I was being. Since that night, I have not touched another woman.
