“Justin's POV**

“You are right, Justin. It is not fair to you to have to wait around for the perfect opportunity to make sure that the pack knowsthat I am yours and you are mine. I am sorry that I have not been fair to you and your needs. I promise I am working tochange that...I love you, Justin. Make me yours. I want you to mark me.”

I froze. Did she really just say what I think she said? She said she wants me to mark her? Did I pressure her to say this? Doesshe feel that she needs to let me mark her because I don't want other males looking at her? Fuck... fucked up. I should havekept my mouth shut.

“Baby, I didn't mean to make you feel pressured. I will mark you when you are ready for it. I do not want you to feel obligatedto be marked by me?”

“Justin, you are not pressuring me. I want to bear your mark. I want you to be yours, just like you are mine. I have marked youas mine, so it is only fair that I only you the same courtesy. I want your mark on my neck. I want to be yours” she took a deepbreath before continuing, “I am not going to lie and say that I am not scared. I am terrified, but I am not terrified of youmarking me. I am terrified of completing the mating process... know that once you mark me, it will only be a matter of timebefore I go into heat and...it will feel as if you have no choice but to mate me...”

“Kataleya, you know I would never do anything that you are not comfortable with. If you are not ready to have sex with me,then we won't. Simple as that. I can fight off my urges. She stared at me before crawling into my lap. She nuzzled her head in my neck. “I love you, justin. I am ready for you. I amready for this. If I waited for my fears to abate, then we would be waiting for ever to complete our bond. I want you now, ifyou will still have me." She whispered the last part.

I placed two fingers under her chin and forced her head up to look at me, “Kat, love, I will always want you. I will always loveyou until my dying breath. I was falling in love with you before I knew you were my mate and I love you now that I know youare my mate. I will spend the rest of my life with you. If you want me to make you mine in every way, then I will?"

She smiled at me before nodding her head. “I would love to be yours, Justin."

Ares was going crazy in my head. “Calm down, you heathen!

He calmed down only slightly. Fuck, what was I going to do with this wolf?

“Will you mark me?”

“Right now?"

She nodded her head and tilted her neck to the side for me. I bent down and kissed her marking spot and she let out a softmoan. I could feel my d**k hardening in my pants. I slowly let my fangs extend and pierced her neck. I felt the thrumming ofthe bond as it snapped into place and her emotions and thoughts flashed through my mind. I was shocked at the amount oflove and trust she has placed in me. She was happy. She trusted me. She loved me. I heard her soft moan and it made myd**k throbbed through my shorts. I retracted my teeth and she laid her head against my chest.

“I love you,” she mumbled.

“I love you, too” I whispered to her while rubbing her back.

With the link being in place, I could feel everything that she was feeling. Her emotions were heightened. After she markedme, I could only feel her emotions if I was linking her; now, I feel them at all times. I bet, if we were ever separated, I wouldbe able to find her. There is like this invisible string that is pulling me towards her. I could feel my need to full mate her, but Ipushed it back down. I meant every word that I said to her. I would not abandon her and I would never force her intoanything.

The biggest test of my resolve will be her heat. She will go into heat anytime within the next few days to a week..the onlytrue thing that will abate her heat is to fully mate her, but I will not break my promise to her.

I slowly stood up, keeping her in my arms, and readjust us, so we could lay on the bed together.

“Baby, did you still want to go out? Or would you rather stay in?" I asked her.

“I think I am okay with going out,” she mumbled. I could tell she was fighting sleep and to be fair it was probably from beingmarked. I have heard that when you are marked, you tend to pass out, but it usually depends on how strong your mate isthat marked you. With me, I didn't even notice because I was already in a coma like state, but with Kataleya she is prettyfucking strong and is otherwise healthy, so it is going to take a little of a toll on her.

She raised her head, “I need to get dressed.” She slowly got off the bed and made her way to the closet. She quickly throughon some clothes and then walked out. F**k. She was hot and I had to adjust the front of my pants. She was wearing a pair ofskin tight leggings, one of my band shirts, and a pair of flats. I don't know what it is about seeing her in one of my shirts thatturn me on, but fuck I want her. I want to fuck her senseless.

I walked to the closet and quickly find myself a shirt to wear and put on some pants before walking out of the closet myself.I held my hand out to her. She grasped it tightly in her hand. “Wherever you want to”

I decided that we would go walk the town square. Maybe look around at some of the shops and then do a quick dinner andthen maybe stop by my house. My sister has returned from her first semester of university and she has been eager toofficially meet my mate.

As we are walking out of the packhouse, Oliver called out her name. We both turned to face him.

“Hey, Kat. How are you feeling after yesterday?"

She glanced up at me before she responded to him, “I am feeling much better than I was yesterday. Justin helped me a lot Ilooked down at her and saw the soft smile on her face as she said my name. Good, that is the reaction I always want her tohave when she thinks of me. I want her to think of happy memories when she thinks of me.

I watch as Oliver examines Kataleya, paying special attention to her marking spot. He glanced at me quickly before lookingback at her. “You allowed him to mark you?”

She nodded her head towards him. “I did. I realized several things. Several important things over the past month. One of themost important things I have learned is that I cannot live without him so I will do everything in my power to make sure that Ican stay with him until the end of our days”

He smiled at her and reached out to hug her. “l am so incredibly happy for you, Kat. You deserve every happiness that thislife has to offer you and I am glad that justin makes you happy” He reached over to me and clapped me on the back.“Congratulations, man. I know you have been waiting since you found out she was your mate to mark her and now you have?After heading out of the town square, we were met with someone that I never wanted to see again in my life.
