After having a shower, kaya ascended down the stair carrying her ponderous lehenga with her. She somehow liked this place, the people, and the dresses. She admired how pretty and elegant the women looked carrying themselves so gracefully in these elegant outfits.

Kaya was dying to have her phone back, only she knew how many pictures she wanted to take of this era. Everything around her was beautiful, the sunsets, the animals, the mothers and arya, and the dr-

"arya-... Yes... She's a beauty" her lips arched in a smile.

She liked this young lady.

The way she easily gets embarrassed or how her mood changes out of a sudden, amuses kaya to the core. The image of arya she had the day she first met her has changed a lot and she only wishes to know more about her.

"...."

She failed to notice the strong gaze someone had on her. The other ladies didn't seem any interesting when compared to kaya.

Her unusually fair skin tone and her unseen colored eye piqued his interest.

When kaya walked past a room, she was quickly pulled in, the grip on her hand was quite tight, the door was locked after her.

"who-" kaya looked up to the person's face but she could not see clearly as it was too dark. She hissed as her back came in contact with the cold wall making her wound hurt.

A second later a small candle brighten the room and she could see a silhouette of a tall man. He was build like a warrior his broad shoulder were intimidating enough.

Kaya took in a long breath as she mustered up her courage to ask, "who-" before she could complete, the candle was raised to her face level as it was brought closer.

"Rudra..?" a whisper came out her lips filled with confusion. His handsome masculine face came in front of her and she couldn't help but take a step back.

"what are you trying to do?" she asked as she turned away to reach the door. "we are getting married. You know you shouldn't run away now, right?" he grabbed her hand as he inched closer twisting it behind her back.

"not yet. I still haven't yes. Not that I'm going to,so you can think about letting me go now."

He pressed his torso against her back, softly grazings his fingers over her wounds which was covered by white bandages while his other hand had a tight grab at her arm.

"don't you know that women usually don't have a say in these kinds of matter and even if you don't want to, it'll be your parents who will have a greater say in this matter. I'm rich, comes from a prestigious background and is quite a suitable bachelor. I don't understand why you are insisting on not marrying me?"  His eyes glistened with admiration.

"first leave me!" kaya squealed in pain and he let her go after ,a soft smile formed over his lips.

Kaya rubbed her wrists and closed her eyes as she took a breath of relief. She felt her hand was going to break, she wondered where he got this strength from.

She now faced him and looked at him.

"You ask me why I don't want to marry you, okay hear me out. First this attitude of yours, the way you behave is what is important to me. I don't give a damn about your riches or your background. And second I hate people who forces themselves on others. Also, Is this how you are supposed to behave with a woman elder to you?" she wouldn't dare comment about his looks, he was gorgeous. And not just him people of this era were exceptionally good looking.

"elder? Don't kid me" he said as he burst out laughing. Her young face and her small figure raised a suspicion about her age.

Rudra placed a hand on his abdomen as if stopping himself from laughing any further.

His act was getting on her nerves.

How dare he make fun of her!

She clenched her fingers into a fist as her face went red.

"I'm 21 years old! A lot older than you, a kid! So you better behave like one otherwise I'll tell bhuasa about what you just did."

He nodded in defense, still laughing as kaya stormed out the room with a loud huff. She was great at making lies, he thought.

Kaya looked through the group of ladies to find that woman. She's the only one who can help her.

In the huge crowd she was easily able to spot her because her quite good height ( A/N: point to be noted our missy is 5'7)

"Arya! I need your help" kaya leads Arya  out from the ladies group and takes her to the roof. She was shocked to realize how easily she was able to find the roof.

Up was an open roof and there were different kinds of clothes hanging in the east while towards the north were different kind of spices, but still it couldn't even cover even One fourth surface of the roof.

"why did you brought me here?" Arya asked resting herself on the slab built of marble as she leaned back putting weights on her hands.

Kaya turned to the sun while her back faced arya who waited patiently for her to talk.

Arya could see her side profile as the sun bathed her body, her waist and her back looked especially luscious at the moment.

"what is it, quickly say it. I have other things to do as well" she said in a bored tone while her gaze was fixed at her body.

She had a lot of time and not to mention that she felt tinge of interest in her heart when she brought her here.

"I think you have misunderstood me a lot from the very beginning. I admit that I have some stuff that I can't tell you, not because I'm planning something vicious or plan to let them stay hidden...but because I don't know how I'm supposed to explain it to you."

Upon hearing this arya's gaze went cold with irritation was evident in her eyes. What's is it that she can't tell her.

"Say it. I will believe you if I think you are saying the truth." she said as she she still admired her.

Kaya smiled and turned to face her. She fidgeted with her dupatta, playing with the metal beads stuck at the hem.

"thank you for saying that. My heart feels a lot lighter now."

Arya nodded as a sign for her to continue.

Kaya looked around to see if there was someone, once she made sure that they are alone, she looked into the other woman's eyes.

"I'm not from this time or era. I have come from the future, maybe from 400 years after.. I don't know how this happened or how I came here. It was the day of my birthday, I was out with my friends and we were having fun..The thing is i want you to help me out with this whole marriage thing, bhuasa wants to meet my parents, but that's impossible, because I don't belong from here. Can you talk with maasa aand bhuasa, please?" kaya  looked at arya who had an undescribable cold look on her face.

"from the future you say?" arya laughed in mockery. Though she couldn't ignore the seriousness on the other woman's face.

"I knew it! I knew it that you won't believe me!" kaya turned around as she faced the sun again.

"okay. Then tell me, what about the thing you said about your parents, was that a lie?" asked asked in a stern voice.

Kaya turned to her and gave her a sheepish nod. Arya seemed offended realizing the truth as kaya made a run for her life around the big roof, binding behind the colourful clothes.

"how dare you lie to me! You do realize that I was the one who gave you a place to sleep, eat and live and this is how you took advantage of that?!" kaya laughed dodging arya who was trying to get a hold of her. Arya talked luke one of those arrogant house owner who didn't got his rent from his fellow tenant.

"what could I have possibly said at that time. You had a fucking sword at my neck. A wrong word and I was gone" kaya ran for her life after whom arya followed. "So you only fear my sword and not not me huh!" she sprinted behind kaya who barely managed to get away .

Both the woman ran around the rooftop. Pulling their lehengas up till their shin as the anklet tickled all the way through. Massa, bhuasa and kriti shook their head and sighed, looking at the girls running around making a chaos of the spices.

While arjun, and ansh shook their head at the lovestruck Rudra watching kaya with a silly smile on his face.

The house felt more livelier than it already was.
