Warren claimed that it was normal that a child couldn't talk even after he was a year old.He also stressed that Wendy was worrying too much for nothing.
The elders who were of the older generation, however, still held on to their conservative belief that children who werenât so bright were a sign of bad luck.

Stella also thought that it was unlikely.She teased Zachary's face and said, âMaybe it'll just take him a little time to say more.He seems quite smart.â

Wendy could not stand watching them.She complained," If Guinevere were here, she'd be so pissed at you two.â

Wendy snickered.
âDo you really believe her? She's just another sly fox! Her acting skills arenât that great anyway.â
