                    "Wake up, Aashi", my wake up call. "Two minutes more, mumma", went my sleepy voice."Okay. Say the same to your professor as well, honey", came dad.I pushed my sleepy sight towards the clock, it read 7:30 AM. I forcefully dragged my feet towards the bathroom and jumped into the shower zone. I wore denim blue jegging with white cold shoulder top. My skin is allergic to accessories other than gold. I don't like make-up much. Just a BB cream, Maybelline's kajal and lip-balm is all I use. I tied my waist length hair in a high ponytail. Tada! All set! I was busy taking a selfie, Ayan, my cousin interrupted me. "Can you come out for the day or should I leave?", he shouted. "Wait Ayu", I replied.It's fun to irritate him. We stay in a joint family as dad and his dad (my paternal uncle) have carried a legacy of family business. It's just because of our studies, me and Ayu shifted to this place. We both wanted to become engineers since childhood and surprisingly we share the same birth dates and year as well.My choice was always Computers and he went for Mechanical engineering. This was our dream college to be studied in."Good Morning Akhil chachu and Naina chachi", I greeted."Morning beta", reply came from them.They are Ayu's parents.I wanted to have parathas prepared by mumma, but the loud car horn coming from Ayu poured water on my hunger. I ran and was not at all surprised to see Yash sitting in the front seat next to Ayu.Yash is my best friend. "Hey! Today it's my turn to be in the front seat", I frowned."Shut up and grab your all time late latif back seat", Yash winked.Arrgghhh!This is what they always do. Hate them! "So, again because of you I am going to be late for the CAD class", yelled Yash."Aww! Poor you!", I gave back. "Don't you get tired of being late everyday? I mean look at Ayu, he will always be on time. Who can say that you both are born and brought up together? You have so many different traits being cousins.", he ranted. "I can't hear you", I and Ayu unisoned and next there was laughter. Though Yash has a Mechanical stream as Ayu, but shuffling in the first year made Yash join my class."We are already late Miss. late latif, can you make it fast a bit?", he yelled again."Oh, really?", I pout and he chuckled.The next moment we were in class. Before I could take a seat, Tanvi held my bag and said "Late again?""Nope", I winked.It was a half-day due to the fresher's party preparation for us by our seniors. We all planned to meet at the parking lot. This time I grabbed the front seat before Yash could do this.Suddenly, Tanvi came jumping and dragged me out of the car."Hey..what?", I wasn't prepared."Vicky was calling you, but you didn't listen. Now he is coming towards you with his friends", said Tanvi.I was scared to the core because he was the same guy, who bullied me initially once. We both stood still. I was searching for Ayu and Yash, but both ceased to be visible.Before they could say anything, a 5'7 feet guy came from nowhere and stood before us. "What is going on boys? The same day I warned, you bullied them for the first time. This time I am going to complain to Dean directly", said the unknown guy.Listening to this, they left the place eyeing me. I was so scared, I didn't even realize when Tanvi left.Shit! "Thank you", I said in a shivering voice."Mention not. By the way, I am Mohak", he smiled.Meanwhile, Yash and Ayu came. Noting me in this state, Ayu wrapped his arms around me. "What's wrong?", he went worried. I didn't reply. Instead, my mouth left a sob due to the aftereffect. "What happened, Aashi?", Yash was also worried."Relax guys, I will explain", Mohak chimed in.I was surprised to know that Mohak knew them already.Mohak explained everything. Ayu's clutch tightened around me. "I am sorry, Aashi. I should have been there for you", he was guilty. "Hey! No! It's not your fault. I hid it from you. I should have told you when it happened for the very first time", I reciprocated and broke the hug. Mohak threw a smile and left saying "Take care".Something was there in Mohak's blue eyes, which was attracting me like no one before. "I am sorry too", Yash bear-hugged me. "That's Okay. Well, how do you both know Mohak?", I asked."He is our senior and the captain of our college's Basketball team", Yash replied parting away. "Can we leave for home? We are getting late. You are always the reason", Yash jested lightening the situation. "I already grabbed the front seat", I replied back.There was a relief on both of their utterances on noting a smile on my face.
