AASHI'S P.O.VWe all headed towards the cab after calling it the end of the day."I can't believe I spoke to Neil Sir today", Emma chirped. "You say what? I mean really? Wow!", Sheeba (our team mate) hopped to Emma's declaration in joy."Yeah! I am knocked out with his deep and spunky voice", Ella puffed."You are lucky, babes", Sheeba carried with the flow.They were floating in their own la-la land. Ugh! He and his vocables are such an intrusion! Nevertheless, I can't deny the certainty that I have no other option left rather than facing him every now and then, being his firm's employee. Because, surely I am not going to self-renounce my aspiration because of his not-so adulated castle in the air. Anyhow, my dreams are bigger than distractions. I was about to board the cab and there came the infuriation of all time."Hey", Vicky gestured for me to come a bit far from the cab, where he was standing. Why on earth does he want me to come there? Wasn't that enough that we will be going in the same cab?Sheesh!Creating a scene was not acceptable here. I smiled in no mood to blurt a single word.Under protest, I marched towards him gathering the twinny sights towards me as Ronny was yet to arrive.Ella frowned.In return, I blinked in order to convey a "calm down" gesticulation.Twins boarded the cab waving at Sheeba, who was to take another cab due to differentiated routes."We didn't get much time to prattle, I guess you were busy", Vicky tried to strike a conversation.Prattle?Only he can use such words. I nodded leaving him confounded. That's not my fault at all. If I am not comfortable around him, then I am not. Crystal clear! "Are you tensed?", he snapped.The hell! Why don't he understand that I am least interested in entertaining him?Or is he doing this intentionally?Whatever!This facet of playing "Blind Man's Buff" with him was disquieting me now. I already have a drown out of tensity regarding superfluity poppycocks. Somehow, it was to be scrapped one or the other day. So, why not right now?Let's do this!"Look Vicky! I need to talk to you", I initiated."Yes, please", his smile broadened. Why is he so excited?Nevermind!"Um.. it's impossible for me to pretend and act artificial in any form..", I tried to collect words.I don't generally say this to any random person, nonetheless, the vibes I get from him are way more ill at ease."I didn't get you", his arched his eyebrows. His expression changed to a bit chafed as he wasn't expecting this.However, I held my courage and spoke with determination."I am sure even you would agree that the comings and goings between us were not pleasant at all since day one. So, I just wanted to give a heads-up that nothing can be normal between us from my end ever", I gave him a reality check. "But..umm.. okay! BTW, I am sorry", his outcome was mystifying. Did he just agree to what I said? "No..No.. please! Apology doesn't make sense, when the entire series of instances doesn't matter to me", I spoke on point. "Alright! I get it", he replied.What?He conceded?Good for him!"Thanks for understanding! Good Luck and GOOD BYE", I concluded and walked away. Done and dusted! Wow!That was smooth! I never knew it was this easy to just give him what he deserves without being rude. Nevertheless, I don't know why I felt as if his words weren't matching his mind by the way he was glaring at me. Who cares? *rolling eyes*Anyways, he can't act that saint as far as I know him, because he is not. In case, if something would have been there, he would surely put it across. *sigh*Ronnie caught me on the way."All good?", Ronnie noted our conversation. "Yes. Now it is, I guess", I shrugged. "Sure? Or you want me to talk to him?", he threw a glance at Vicky. "Nah Nah! I had cut the cord once and for all", I declared. "Great! Do you think he will be okay with that?", he was dubious. "I don't know, but I am tired of acting unreal", I answered."I know! Get in", he opened the cab's door for me."Thanks", we exchanged a fist bump.Though Vicky was in the same cab, surprisingly, he didn't bother at all, which made me feel relieved."You will say or you want me to ask him directly, babydoll?", Emma whispered, pulling me towards her pointing at Vicky."Sshhh! At least wait to get out of here", I shushed her. I was entering the drawing room, meanwhile Emma blocked my way."Stop", she yelled. I was confused. Ronnie gave an "All the best look" and walked towards his room as he knew what was coming. "Let the cat out of the bag, babydoll", Ella entered this time.I had a question mark on my face. "What's with Vicky?", Emma wiggled her eyebrows. "Oh, that? Let me explain", I placed myself on the couch followed by them.I explained everything word by word to them and they seemed to be appeased as I was. I smiled and ascended stairs to reach my room.On reaching my room, I called home and had a normal conversation except the unpalatable instances because I don't want them to agonize unnecessarily.Later, I called Ayu to lighten my heart as today was very heavy for me. Ring.. Ring...Ayu- Dumbo! I need to share something. Me- Whoa! You sound happy. Ayu- Happy? On cloud nine. Me- What's happening?Ayu- I and Priya are together. Me- Together? Wait, what? Did you propose to her?Ayu- Yes. Tomorrow evening I had planned something. I need to arrange a lot of stuff. Me- Superb! So, happy for you Ayu. Finally, you both realised. Ayu- I know! But, what's with you? How was the day?Me- Um.. that? Good, it was good. Ayu- No, I don't buy that. What is it?Me- Nothing, Ayu. Tired like hell and today's presentation was super awesome. Ayu- I am proud of you my scholar. But..Me- Arey! Trust me. Ayu- Okay! And listen, Yash is busy with his admissions in New York. He will call you later. Me- Sure! You carry-on and don't forget to share the pictures. Ayu- Deal! Take care!Beep.. Beep...I could sense the happiness in his voice. How can I tell him all that when he is so happy?I can't ruin someone else's fortunate moments considering my not-so-important issues.Cut it! Next morning, I was up early or should I say, I didn't close my eyes at all the entire night because of my see-sawing restless vehemence.I kept on tossing and turning the whole night as sleep was not even close. I descended the cab and took a lift to my floor along with Ella and Emma."Didn't you sleep well, babydoll?", Emma scanned me. "You didn't even have breakfast properly today", Ella added."Not like that, I was just not feeling well a bit", I replied.Gosh!How can I tell what actually the circumstance was?"Wanna check with the doctor?", Ella was concerned. "Not required. Just a hot mug of coffee and will be fine for sure. I promise", I assured them."You want us to accompany you?", they unisoned."Thanks. You carry-on with your work, I will be okay", I didn't want to bother them. They smiled and paced towards their respective cubicles.My head triggered a mild migraine and without thinking of a twitch, I entered the cafeteria for coffee.I was fetching coffee and my ears heard a voice which, I surely wasn't willing to listen to at this moment. At this moment?No! I mean under no account. I cautiously shifted my sights towards the voice and damn, I was right!Shit!It's him Neil!I tiptoed with vigilance and hid myself in a place where I would be safe from his view. The hell! Who the hell did construct this cafeteria near his cabin?Within a minute, he made his way across my way to his cabin. Thank God! I placed myself on one of the tables and closed my eyes covering my face within my palms in order to calm myself down. *thud*A sound broke my placidity. "What?", I flinched and stood up pushing my chair back completely lost.It was someone who hit my table hard by hand just to pull my attention.
