Neil ? My eyes widened in shock. What on earth is he doing here?I looked at Yash and Ayu. They stayed unbothered. How come? I was sure that they never saw him as there is no picture of Neil Oberoi available on social media at all."HEY LOVE!", Neil turned to me.What? What? What?His gesture gave me stomach twists.My heart skipped a beat making my eyes bulge-out even more.I looked at Ayu and Yash in reflex just to see their reactions to this bombshell.They acted bog-standard. How could they be so casual?I gave Ayu "where is my possessive brother?" look.He didn't respond. My bewilderedness was just rising. "Take it easy, daddy's little girl. Why do you widen your eyes again?", he chuckled. "What are you doing here?", my serenity gave up."Come on dumbo. Is this the way you behave with the guest?", Ayu broke his silence at last. What guest? Whose guest? "Chill bro! My girl is unusually interesting", Neil winked at me.Haan?"A way too", Yash tittered. This turmoil of my life is calling me "My girl" in front of those two humans who are way more overprotective for me.And they are behaving as if nothing new? The next moment they three greeted each other as if they had known one another for ages.These gesticulations of them made my hands fly to my chest and my nervous system went numb. My perplexion reached beyond peak. "What's happening?", I was dumbfounded.They exchanged a look and burst out laughing.Yash came to me and gave me a comforting hug."Relax duffer! Let me explain", he ruffled my hair."Actually, we have known him for a long time now", he initiated taking his seat back. Long time? "How come that's possible?", I raised my brow. "Why not?", Neil shrugged."That's what", both unisoned making me irked additionally.They know Neil days beyond recall?Unbelievable!!I know each and every creature from their lives. In fact, more than they do. How can I miss-out on him? "I am cocksure, you both don't even know him. Stop playing dumb with me", I was suspicious. "How can a fool be fooled again?", Yash smirked.I smacked his leg as it was the only part reachable by me for rewarding."Oweeeee", he shrieked."Speak out the truth", I raged."Okay.. okay! Calm down", Yash raised his hands in defense. "After landing in London, I was walking towards the cab stand from the exit. Meanwhile, I collided with Neil accidentally. He was there to receive his parents", Yash smiled looking at Neil."There we realised that we are connected because of the common person, who is very important for us", Neil added."Common person? Who?", I asked."You", both said at once.Ayu smiled looking at them."Meaning?", I was confused. "When we bumped into one another, Neil's phone slumped on the floor. Intrinsically, I saw your picture as Neil's wallpaper and I turned confused", Yash spoke."I must mention, they are way too possessive for you", Neil sighed. "He explained everything to me from the scratch. But, how could I believe just from the words as I never wanted you to go through the same again", Yash took my hands in his. I just kept taking their words without reacting. I was not sure how to act."After receiving mom and dad, somehow I convinced Yash to visit my place as mom and dad could give him more clarity", Neil responded. "Yes! I wanted to know the truth as it was beyond belief for me that how could a person just love someone unconditionally irrespective of the circumstances", Yash squeezed my hand. "Even I didn't believe anything initially. I mean, how could I? I just can't trust a random person for my sister", Ayu came in. "You too?", I questioned him in aghast. "Yes, I know it all. I met him yesterday post landing", Ayu said meekly."Enough", I mumbled as I couldn't take it any more.I huffed dismayed as it wasn't so easy to capture at once."You both mean to say, you met Neil, he confessed his feelings, then you met his parents and you agreed?", I lost my composure."We didn't", Ayu and Yash unisoned. "Do you really think it was that easy to convince them?", Neil let out a huff. "There is much more..", Ayu was about to finish."I don't care. I don't want to listen to this crap further", I cut him off. I twitched my sights and saw a girl passing across the lobby, who seemed to be familiar.Princy?No! It might be my delusion. I noted Neil looking in the same direction at the same time and his face utterance changed into a bit of anger."Um..guys! I need to leave, will catch you later", he waved at Yash and Ayu and strolled towards the exit. Where would he be going?Nonetheless, his stride seized and he leaned towards me."I didn't put much effort to convince them because efforts are made to prove what's difficult to see or believe. My love for you is bona fide, which never needs any effort to be evinced. Love you", Neil said with the purest authenticity in his eyes.I couldn't help but listen to each of his words without retaliating.How could I?Kill me! "Sorry to leave this way, it's important for you. See you soon, love", he whispered and walked away. I didn't respond.Important for me?What does he mean?Was that girl Princy for real?Ugh! Nevermind!"Where did he go in such a hurry?", Ayu asked."Ask your so-called friend from ages", I gave sarcasm."Listen, duffer! Don't you trust us?", Yash asked."I do! But, how can you just agree with a person whom you know for a couple of days?", I retorted."Not just one thing. You didn't see what all I encountered. I was stunned to discern Neil and his parent's sureity about you. They are eagerly waiting to make you a part of their life", Yash added. "What?", I gave out."I saw your paintings all over Neil's room. When I asked him about them, his answer forced me to believe him", genuinity was dancing on his face. "Paintings? Answer?", I was shocked."Hmm! He said it would be inappropriate to click your picture for him without your consent. So, he captured all your memories in the form of those paintings", Yash divulged. I went speechless. "Your consent is his top-most priority. Now, you tell me! How could such a noble person betray you? And still there are so many things which we noticed, but we won't be able to put them in words. You are the one to realise them", Ayu kept his point. Something tugged my heart. No! No! No! "He is not like Mohak. Although, it's your decision, we won't force you. However, we can aid you with what is right", Yash concluded. Mohak?*thought clicked*Wait!"Were you people the one to disclose about Mohak to Neil?", I asked in suspicion.They both kept quiet for a while and then nodded a YES!Shit!"Have you lost your mind?", I was annoyed."Sorry. Nevertheless, that wasn't wrong we guess", they felt guilty. "You guess? Do hell with your sorry and do hell with you", I got up to leave.Meanwhile, my phone beeped. *Buzz*It was from the same unknown number. I opened the messages and was astonished.What I perceived on my phone screen made my head spin and my vision blacked out. ********************************What is going on in her life?
