   "Wear this Aashi, it suits you", Tanvi was helping me get ready for my first date ever with my first ever crush.Sound's strange, but true!She was so excited to find me going on a date, so she came along to lend me a helping hand."Nah", I exclaimed. "This one?", she showed another one.I refused.This happened more than ten times, till Priya came in, who was here to complete one of their assignments with Ayu."How about this?", she took out a pretty one, which even I didn't knew was existed.Not my fault! We girls but heaps of clothes and side line them in our vast closest for the meantime. Suddenly one day, it pops out from no where! Bamn! *rolling eyes*"Wow! When did I buy this? That's amazing, Priya", I hopped in excitement. It was a red braso knee length dress, with full hand sleeves, ending with a frill.I matched it up with black stilettos, tied my long, like really long hair in a messy ponytail and with my basic make-up on.Tada! Good to go!"Who is this?", said Ayu as I descended the stairs."Aree! Our duffer in a split personality look!", Yash teased. "You addlehead", I frowned. "You should be the award winner for the "Compliment spoiler category", I added shooting daggers at him. "Whatever! Duffer will always be a duffer, no matter how you dress up.", Yash replied and within a second everybody present there, bursted out in group laugh."Is it? Fine then, I am not going to share anything about this evening with you.", I said with a proud smile."Oh, please. The world knows, no matter what, you can't even eat without sharing everything with me duffer", Yash added with a confident smile.Damn! That was bang on! I can't end my day without speaking out every single thing before them. "That's true", came in Ayu."Fine", I blurted out."On a serious note, Even if you go slightly uneasy, we are a call away. No thinking twice. Okay?", Ayu embraced me in his all time protective brother mode. "Exactly", added Yash giving me a bear hug."Sure", I hugged them back."Hey! I am here too.", Tanvi felt left out. "Come here", I pulled her into a hug. "Sweetheart, it's 6 already.", Priya said looking at the clock.Meanwhile, we heard a car horn. "It's Mohak", said Tanvi."Hi", I said while getting inside the car."Take care of her", Yash and Ayu unisoned. He nodded. He wore a royal blue denim with white crew neck t-shirt. His masculine body was on full display. His blue eyes had some different tint. "You look pretty", he initiated."Thank you", I acknowledged. He took me to the cafe booked by Ayu. He showed all the gentleman gestures like opening the car door for me on reaching and dragging the chair out for me to sit. "So, we have thirty minutes?", he chuckled. "Well, guess so", I joined him. We had a small talk, then went on with casual discussion about hobbies, likes and dislikes. Though it was just fifteen minutes, but something was not right. The atmosphere was good, but the vibe wasn't. Don't think more, Aashi! *subconscious voiced*I brushed off the thought by assuming me being nervous as it is my first ever date. We were having coffee, out of no where, I heard a girly voice calling "Mohak".I shifted my sight towards the voice and was surprised to see a girl coming towards Mohak in fast pace.I turned towards Mohak, he gave a surprised look on noting her. She came and hugged him. And, she turned to me. "So, SHE IS THE ONE?", she whispered to him. Still, I was able to hear her. Where in return, Mohak gestured for her to keep shut. I was confused to see such a conversation between them. "Oh, I should go I guess", she said looking at me and left without waiting for my reply."What was that?", I couldn't keep calm. "Nothing, she is my batchmate. Ignore her", he replied with an awkward smile."What was with that confab?", I interrogated."It's just that I don't go on dates. So, she was just surprised, please don't mind", his eyes were not matching his words. "I am sorry", he added realising my distracted mood."Don't be, I understand", I replied to cut this as I knew it would go nowhere. The next moment I saw him sitting down on his knees in front of me holding a rose pointing towards me."I started liking you from the very first moment I saw you in college. Your innocence and cuteness attracted me from day one. I wanted to ask you out since long and finally I gathered my courage today and see we are here. I am happy that you are here with me". he stretched jis hand holding rose towards me. I was surprised with his gesture. I was pleased. What all just happened a minute before vanished from my memory in seconds flattering my ego quite a bit. My heart skipped a beat. My cheeks turned pink or red or whatever the colour it is.His words made me mute. I couldn't say anything but I accepted the rose from his hand and gave a satisfied smile. We sat there for few moments without speaking a single word.Then, the next moment we were heading towards the parking lot as it was time. The entire drive went hushed. He dropped me home. He spoke to Ayu and Yash for a while and he left waving at me.I was still stuck in the same moment. The butterflies inside my stomach were on their own mood.As soon as I entered the drawing room, Yash threw a cushion at me, which made me come back to reality from dreamy land."How did it go?", there they go. "As a date, you unison admirers", I gave back with a sarcastic smile."Really? That's a surprise", he blinked his eyes dramatically. "Shut up", I pronounced."Stop you two. Can't you both speak normally without the heedless fights", Ayu put a halt to our argument. "Nope.", Yash and me came in unison this time."Aashi! Speak up", Ayu asked.Dare they leave me! "Alright", I explained everything. Mind you, when I say everything, it means every single thing. We didn't even realise, when the clock struck at 9 PM. We had dinner together, Yash left waving a 'good night' at 11 PM. I dozed off stepping in my dream land. ************************************Hi, there! What do you think where will this go?
