Chapter 570 Agnes and Ryder both paused when they heard that.

Agnes quickly clarified, “I’m not Mr. Ryder’s girlfriend.”

Seeing Agnes‘ displeasure, the maid was a bit flustered.

She’d intended to butter up Ms. Agnes, but it seemed like Ms. Agnes didn’t like that.

The maid nervously glanced at Mr. Ryder.

Mr. Ryder looked indifferent, just saying to Agnes, “Let’s go.”

Beatrice was sarcastic on the side, “With Ryder taking care of you, I bet you’ll recover faster than anyone else. Look at his dark circles, you two must’ve had a rough night, huh?”

Beatrice deliberately made their relationship sound ambiguous.

Raleign laughed and said, “Ryder, you should’ve told us if you got a girlfriend. Your dad would be thrilled.”

Ryder responded, “It’s nothing like that.”

Ryder’s voice was cold, but his tone casual, but people weren’t easily convinced.

Everyone in the household knew Ryder’s character well.

Taking a girl to his room? How could that be a misunderstanding?

Everyone gave them suggestive looks.

Hammer explained, “Mr. Thomas learned that we have an esteemed guest at home, so he’s made a special trip back. He hopes Ms. Agnes could stay a bit longer.”

Kevin patted Ryder’s shoulder and said, “Our dad surely wants to make you join the company. Our family’s company is almost completely under Valeria Thomas’s control, I don’t know why dad treats her like his own daughter.”

Hammer interjected, “Ms. Thomas will be back tonight.”
