Chapter 616 Jared couldn’t wrap his head around why he was so hooked on Summer.

Agnes knew she couldn’t keep the secret anymore.

She had been bending over backwards to keep Jared in the dark about Nocturne.

Agnes stopped beating around the bush and said, “Yes, I had a child. But Jared, to call yourself the child’s father is a bit of a stretch. You’re only the biological father, you just supplied a sperm, what else have you got to do with this child? I don’t buy the idea that just supplying a sperm makes you a father.”

“So what? The fact is we’re divorced, we’re now two strangers with no connection. Summer is my son, he’s been living with me since he was a baby, he has nothing to do with you!”

Jared yelled back furiously, “But my blood is running in his veins. I won’t let Summer wander abroad. I missed his growing up, but from now on, he has to be with me every single day!”

Agnes started to feel real fear, “Jared, what the hell are you trying to do? Don’t even think about taking him away from me!”
