Chapter 619 When Jared brought up the idea of remarrying, Agnes was totally gobsmacked.

Agnes laughed and lifted her head to ask, “Remarry? What about Valeria? Weren’t you just engaged to her today?”

I’ll call off the engagement. I’ll handle the rest.”

Agnes laughed sarcastically, “So engagements can be called off just like that, what about feelings, can they also change at whim?”

Agnes shook off Jared’s hand, “I don’t need chances from you, Jared. Don’t delude yourself.”

The two found themselves in a silent standoff, neither willing to back down.

Jared’s phone rang again, but this time, Jared didn’t answer it.

Not long after, Leo showed up at the door.
