Splinter offered to train Angie and Skyla and they both said yes.
He taught them how to fight with their fists and how to sense when something is coming without looking. Finally he gave them each a weapon for fighting.
Angie had a beautiful Japanese Sword and Skyla had a Chain Half.
When they were done, Skyla went to her room while Angie went to the kitchen and sat at the table, lost in thought. She couldn't quit thinking about Leo, basically ever since they officially and figuratively met.
"Angelina, is something troubling you?" Splinter asked, making her jump.
"Sensei. Um no. I'm fine," Angie tried to remain calm.
But Splinter gave her a look that told her he knew something was bothering her.
She sighed and confessed. "For a while, I've felt something for Leo. I just don't know how he feels about me. I wish I did."
"Well, I know you make him happy, even when he and Raphael aren't on good terms yet. Be there for him when his brothers may not be able to," Splinter requested.
"I promise, Sensei," Angie assured.
Splinter left and that's when the guys came home. Leo stormed off to his and Angie's room.
Raph did the same.
Donnie and Mikey sighed and they patched up their wounds.
Angie followed Leo. She looked up at the door and approached it. She breathed deeply and knocked on the door.
"Leo, it's me Angie," she called.
"Come in," he replied hoarsely.
Angie walked in. "Leo, what happened?"
"My brothers and I were going to train topside, but then we heard a roar at this construction site. Hothead went after it then the others followed, even though I told them not to. We ran into the Foot and fought this yeti. Some debris fell on us and then the yeti disappeared. Raph wanted to go after them, but I called him back," Leo explained.
He sat on the bed as Angie got the extra first aid kit that he had in his room, sat beside him and helped him patch up his wounds.
"Leo, was Raph mad at you because you were away longer than you said you would be?" she asked.
"I don't know, but we normally butt heads from time to time. I'm sure he'll get over it," Leo answered.
"Understandable. I've had ups and downs with my sister sometimes. But I still love her," Angie replied.
He smiled and held her hand as she used her free arm to hug his free arm. They looked at each other and slowly started to lean in. They were milliseconds from kissing until they heard banging, which made them jump.
"Hey, guys! We're going to bed. See ya in the morning," Mikey said from the other side.
He walked off and Angie and Leo just stared at each other for a minute until they decided to go to bed. He wrapped his arms around her as they laid down and got comfortable. They both hoped that eventually, they would kiss.

A/N OMG! They almost kissed! But the brothers still need to fix what's going on between them.
