Angie and Leo were sitting on the edge of the rooftops, gazing at the stars.
"Beautiful night, huh?" Angie asked, leaning on Leo's shoulder as he wrapped his arm around her.
"Yeah. Not as beautiful as you," he replied in a flirtatious way.
"Aww, Leo," she blushed and moved a tendril of her blonde hair behind her ear then wondered. "So is it true?"
"Is what true?" Leo asked.
"Is it true that you've stopped being the Ghost of the Jungle?" Angie clarified.
"Oh, that. Yeah, it is. Why do you ask?" he wondered curiously.
"No reason; just wondering," she answered.
There was a slight pause as they sat on the ledge until Leo said. "Do you want me to keep being the Ghost? I mean, you liked him first after all."
"What? No. I may have had a crush on the Ghost, but Leonardo, the teenage mutant ninja turtle, is the one I fell in love with. The reason I asked was because if it weren't for him, we wouldn't have met," Angie explained.
Leo smiled, took her hands and responded. "You make a good point. I fell in love with you from the moment I saw you for the first time when I first arrived in Central America."
She placed her hand on his cheek, then said. "What would I do without you? You're the best thing that has ever happened to me and I wouldn't change a thing."
"Same," Leo smirked.
They leaned in and kissed. It started off gentle and sweet, then escalated to rough and passionate.
They embraced each other and parted for a minute.
"Oh by the way. I got you something really special," he reached his hand into his belt and pulled out a little blue box.
Angie took it and opened the lid. She let out a small gasp in amazement. Inside was a beautiful gold necklace with a sapphire gem.
"I saw this after I saved you from those muggers and I decided to give it to you. It reminded me of your hair and eyes," he told her smiling.
"Oh Leo, thank you. It's beautiful," she teared up with happiness.
"Just like you," he said and took the necklace out of the box.
Angie moved her hair back, allowing Leo to wrap it around her neck. He clipped it in place and she gazed at it smiling. Then she looked up at him.
"I love you, Leonardo," she told him.
"I love you too, Angelina," he responded.
They kissed again and held each other while looking up at the stars.
