Chapter 14:
"Rise and shine Cocopops!" A familiar voice sang as they came and slapped me with a pillow! I opened one eye to see who it was. I closed them after I saw who it was and sighed. I threw the pillow at him and he just laughed.
"Seriously Patrick?" I checked the time and it was 3am. I only got like four hours of sleep last night. "It's 3am which means it's too early for your shit!" I screamed.
Patrick just gasped. "Well good morning to you to princess!" he said fake hurt.
"Patrick get out of here, that's my job!" Adam I presumed screamed.
"Again all you had to say was Patrick please leave." Patrick said putting his hands up in surrender. I laughed at him from underneath my blanket which received me a slap from the pillow. Before I even managed to get up Patrick was out of the room screaming "You snooze you lose buttercup!"
"Buttercup?" I said laughing at Patrick's weirdness. "His blowout(hairstyle) must be blocking oxygen from entering his brain." I said and Adam laughed.
He walked over to my bed and sat on the edge. "Are you ready for this?" he asked me. I just nodded. "You can always drop out of the plan you know, if you don't want to do it." He told me.
I crawled over to his side and sat next to him. "Adam, I want to do this. I need to do this, to prove Xavier wrong, and I'm glad that I'm doing this with you."
"Why me, you could've chosen Patrick even though I asked Scott, I know you like him because he always makes you laugh, you would've had a fun time with him while getting back at Xavier." He told me sadly.
I turned his face towards me and I looked him in his eyes. "Adam I want you and only you to do this with me. Yes I like Patrick." I said and he looked at his lap to hide his disappointment. "But I like him as a friend and that's all." His face immediately shot up and he sighed with relief. "I like you Adam, it's always been you who I liked." I told him truthfully looking him in his eyes and he smiled like the Grinch.
"Then why wouldn't you go out with me?" he asked.
"Because Adam, you're a great friend and what we have means the world to me. I don't want to lose this Adam, I can't lose this, if I do I don't know what I would do.
Adam you have a mate out there waiting for you and she is probably everything you need and want, I can't keep you from her, everyone deserves their mate.
Mates are the best thing in the world; they complete you just by being next to them or looking at them, unfortunately in some cases like mine I can't say that because mine was selfish and rejected me.
But the moment I found him, even under the circumstances, I felt complete and happy. Even though he rejected me over and over again and he's the reason why I cried myself to sleep for two years, just waking up and seeing him made me feel alive." I told him sadly.
"Just know that if I could choose my mate, you'd be my first choice." I said as I stroked his cheek.
He took my hand from his cheek and kissed it. "You are the best thing in this whole wide world-" before I could correct him saying his mate would be the best thing ever, he continued. "apart from my mate." I smiled at him and kissed his cheek.
"Sorry to interrupt this lovey dovey moment but I got to get my girl ready." Patrick yelled in a girly voice.
Adam growled at him. "Ok, that's my cue to go." Patrick said as he ran away for the second time. He ran back to door and peaked his head. "Oh and cocopops?" he said, I just rolled my eyes at him but nodded.
"You know you like me more than a friend, and my blowout is sexy." Adam growled even louder and Patrick just sprinted off.
"Oh Patrick, Patrick, Patrick, I don't know what I would do without him." I said out loud while laughing and Adam laughed with me too but you could tell he was uncertain so I decided to kiss him on the cheek again.
"Hey sorry to interrupt this cute moment but I have to get Chloe to look extremely sexy." Adam thought it was Patrick and growled a scary growl. I smacked him on the arm when I realised it was Kelly.
Kelly growled back at Adam and Adam immediately blushed and said sorry. "Well, I'm going to leave you two girls alone to get ready. Sorry again Kelly, I thought you were Patrick." And with that he walked out of the room.
Kelly looked at me with a knowing smile. "What?" I asked scared. She just made her knowing smile even bigger and ran and jumped on the bed next to me.
"Soooooooo? What's going on with you and Adam huh?" she said nudging me while raising her eyebrows up and down.
"What! Nothing." I said trying to sound convincing but obviously Kelly realised.
"Chloe Salvatore Maka, don't even try to lie to me girl. I know everything about everyone. Now what's going on between you two?" she asked.
"Well, I kind of told him my feeling for him." Kelly smiled and gave me a 'I knew it!' look. "Before you jump to conclusions, no we are not officially going out." And with that being said she frowned and slumped back down.
"Well you're no fun!" Kelly said as lay down on the bed.
"Ghee aren't you just a great friend." I said sarcastically. This made Kelly bolt back up.
"Excuse you, I am the best, and because I'm the best I bought you a hot outfit!" she squealed and she held up a bag.
I took the bag and opened it. Inside were just a plain white singlet with a v neck and blue tight skinny jeans and black ankle boots.
"Kelly, no offence but there's nothing sexy about this outfit. I already have something similar to this packed in my bags." I told her.
She just shook her head and pushed me towards the bathroom and told me to change into it. "You stupid girl, you wouldn't know fashion if it slapped you in the face." ugh this girl is so insulting sometimes, but I still love her.
I put the clothes on and looked in the mirror and wow, the v neck singlet made my chest stand out and the skinny jeans really brought out my curves. I guess Kelly does know what she's talking about.
I walked out and Kelly's jaws dropped. "Dayum girl, you got curves and you're looking mighty fine." She said walking around me in circles. "Oh and I forgot to tell you, you're riding on a motorcycle to the moonstone pack." She said like it was a normal thing.
"WHAT! I can't drive a motorcycle! Are you crazy! Wait why am I asking?, of course you're crazy. You want me to fricken drive a motorbike and fall off and break my neck." I screamed thinking of ways I could die if I drive a motorbike.
"Oh please, stop being such a drama queen." Kelly said admiring her green painted nails.
"Drama queen!? Kelly I don't know how to ride a motorbike!" Kelly just gave me a blank look. I sighed and gave up. Looks like I'm travelling by motorbike.
"Why am I even riding on a motorbike? Can't I just carpool with one of you?" I asked.
Kelly just looked at me like I offended her. "No because the motorbike matches your clothes!" she said in a Duhh tone.
"Of course, cause that makes so much sense!" I said sarcastically and Kelly just nodded her head. I rolled my eyes and went and curled my hair. I applied mascara only since I didn't feel like poking my eye out on the first day back at my ex pack.
I checked the time and it was 4am. Kelly and I walked downstairs with all our suitcases and realised everyone was waiting for us.
When they saw us they all gasped and stared at me with wide eyes and mouths open. Patrick was the first to speak up, "dayum girl, your legs are so fine that they will be running through my head all day!" he said which earned him a smack from both Scott and Adam.
He sat back down and mumbled swear words under his breath.
"Ok, since everyone is ready let's get going. The rest of the pack are already on two separate buses. Chase you're taking your Ferrari with Corona Kelly and Patrick. Peter you're taking your Porsche with Rose since you insisted on doing so and I will be with Adam since-"
Before he finished Patrick interjected. "Since no one else wanted to go with you?" he said and immediately held his hands up in surrender as Scott glared at him.
"No, since Chloe is taking her motorbike and leading the way." Scott said defending himself. Before anyone else could make a silly remark on Scott, he spoke up. "Let's just go!" he said and we all obeyed and headed out to our ride.
I leaded the way and I was extremely happy and surprised how quick I learnt to drive a motorbike. I borrowed one of Adam's leather jackets to stay warm since the clothes Kelly gave me were a little too revealing.
The trip was a four hour drive and I was glad when I reached the end of the border to cross over to the moonstone's territory. I inhaled deeply before I drove through the border line.
When I crossed over I felt my connection to my family strengthen and I felt my connection to Xavier reboot. I felt pain and regret, serves him right. I mind linked Scott and told him were in their territory now and he told the others.
By the time we got to the moonstone pack house it was 8am.
I parked my motorbike at the front and Scott, Chase and Peter parked next to me while the buses parked behind us.
I looked over at the pack house and saw Corey. I nearly started crying, I haven't seen my twin in 6 months. Next to him was Xavier.
My wolf stayed normal, over the past 6 months she's got use to the fact that Xavier didn't want us. Right next to Xavier was none other than Maya. My wolf howled a little but quickly maintained herself.
Behind the two stupid love birds was Elena and behind her was Luke.
Great, just great looks like my letter to him actually encouraged him to be with Elena rather than making him feel guilty.
Scott and Chase got out first and walked over towards Xavier and Corey.
Corey looked at Scott weirdly, most probably because Scott looks a little like Paea.
They started talking for a while and then Scott turned towards us and motioned for us to go to him.
Peter and Rose went first and shook hands with Corey and Xavier. Patrick and Kelly went next.
I looked over at Chase's Ferrari and sure enough Corona was fast asleep. Scott mind linked me to hurry up and go to him.
I walked over to Corona and slapped her face. She got up straight away and punched me. luckily I was wearing a helmet or I would've been bruised.
I took my helmet off and she gave me a sheepish smile. I rolled my eyes at her and told her to hurry up and come.
We both walked to where Scott was. Corona went before me and shook hands with Xavier, she most probably had a tight grip since I could hear Xavier groan.
Scott just cleared his throat and she immediately let go and went and stood next to him. "Chloe, come on, we don't have all day!" Corona said and Chase immediately elbowed her. I looked up and Xavier was staring at me.
I walked up the stairs and ignored Xavier and ran up to my brother and hugged the life out of him. He hugged me back and I could hear him sigh with relief. Xavier growled and I turned to look at him.
I walked up to him and offered my hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you Alpha Xavier! I'm Chloe, Chloe Maka." I said and he was shocked.
He stared at me in bewilderment. He gulped and shook my hands. When he touched the sparks ignited and he looked at me with relief, regret and love. It's a little too late for that buddy.
"Oh Chloe, I've missed you so much! I'm sorry for everything; please I'll do anything, just forgive me." Luke said running forward and hugging me.
Before I could push him off of me Xavier yanked him away and growled at him and came and hugged me. "Let go of my girlfriend!" Adam screamed pushing Xavier away from me and standing in front of me.
Xavier looked at Adam with such hatred. "SHE'S MINE!" he shouted stalking towards Adam.
