“There.” I sighed happily, backing away to where Greyson was standing on his side of the room.

“I think it looks good.” He complimented with a shrug, looking over at me while I stood with my arms crossed.

“It better,” I huffed, running a hand through my messy curls. “I spent all morning working on it.”

He laughed shaking his head and taking a seat on his bed. I tilted my head slightly as I examined my side of the room further. My belongings had arrived early this morning and I made Greyson help me set it up to perfection. It had been a bit odd when I had to walk all the way down to the dorm lobby to retrieve my items in just the pajamas Greyson leant me. I think I made quite an impression on my fellow classmates…

I now had a full wardrobe with all my clothes, a packed desk containing all my school supplies, a neatly made bed that I had smoothed to perfection, and a wall scattered tidily with my most adored posters. My side of the room turned out much to my expectation—perfect.

“Are you sure you don’t want to messy it a bit? It’s so…clean.” Greyson commented from behind me, changing his voice to a disgusted tone near the end.

“It’s just how I like it.” I nodded firmly, walking back over to my mattress and pulling the sheets more towards me when I saw a certain crease. “Everything’s in order to my account.”

“Alright…” He sighed unsure, but still shut his mouth to not criticize my style of living any further. “At least you have all your stuff now.”

I nodded carelessly, biting my lip in concentration as I continued to fix and rearrange a couple items on my wooden desk.

I jumped at the sound of knocking on the dorm room door, spinning around to look at Greyson with wide eyes.

“Just sit.” He commanded, pointing to my bed and walking up to the door. “And don’t make a sound.”

I nodded, pushing myself back all the way to the corner of my bed where my pillow meets the wall. Considering my bed is pressed tightly to the wall of the room, I was able to lean back on the cold surface.

Greyson exhaled, pressing the side of his face to smooth texture of the door, “Who is it?”

I heard a quiet, “It’s me!” come from the other side.

I watched Greyson’s lips twitch into a smile as he opened the door hurriedly. Without another word, he pulled the unknown person into a tight hug while shutting the door behind them. “What’re you doing here? You know how I feel about you coming up to the Alpha floor.”

“Oh stop worrying.” The person I now identified as a quite petite boy, chuckled. “I’m already bonded, what are they going to do?”

“Just cause you’re bonded doesn’t mean they won’t do other things.” Greyson huffed, his voice sounding a bit irritated.

I couldn’t see the other persons face, considering his back was to me while Greyson hugged him, but I could somehow guess that this boy is an Omega. I could tell from the way he stands, and the way his body is structured. He’s small, his head only coming up to Greyson’s shoulder. His body is more curled in, like he’s trying to feel the protection of the Alpha around him.

“Uh, Grey? Who’s this?”

My head snapped up, looking at the other Omega with wide eyes.

“Oh that’s—“

“An Omega. An unbounded Omega.” The shorted boy cut in. “What is an unbounded Omega doing in your room?” He now turned his attention to Greyson, his eyes showing a bit of hurt.

“Oh no no no!” Greyson chanted, shaking his head vigorously, “It’s not what you think! He’s my new roommate.”

“A new roommate? But he’s not an Alpha.” The boy looked confused, his eyes turning to examine me further.

“I know, but he somehow got put on this floor. We’re trying to get him off because of how dangerous it is with all the Alphas around.”

“And the Tops.” The Omegas added in, his face contorting into a toothy grin after a couple of seconds. “I’m Rhys by the way!” He walked over to me, sticking his hand in front of my frozen face.

I gulped, shaking the startled look off my face and taking his small hand, “I-I’m Harry.”

“Hi Harry, nice to meet you!” He smiled, sitting down on the edge of my bed.

I cringed once I saw the large crease he was creating with his backside. I kept my mouth shut though, not wanting to seem like a complete neat freak. “Sorry about acting a bit hesitant towards you before. It’s just, I get a little wary when I see Omega’s around my Alpha.”

I laughed, letting my eyes reconnect with his instead of my messy sheets, “I get it, don’t worry. He’s all yours.”

Rhys smiled widely, “I know.”

“Alright, alright.” Greyson’s voice cut in to our little conversation, “I still want to know why you’re here, babe?”

Rhys snorted, rolling his eyes in a playful manner, “How do you know I’m not just here to see my beloved boyfriend?”

Now it was Greyson’s turn to roll his eyes, slowly walking towards Rhys’ body on my bed, “C’mon, I of all people know that’s not why you came here.”

I heard the other Omega gasp quietly under his breath when Greyson climbed on top of him, pushing him down onto his back. A look of disgust crossed my features when I noticed Greyson started to nip at the skin of his Omega’s neck, erupting sinful noises from the younger lad.

“Oh,” I groaned in disgust, scrambling off my bed and going to the other side of the room. I cleared my throat to get their attention, keeping a look of discomfort painted across my features. When I noticed they both weren’t listening, and the Alpha started to grind his clothed crotch over the others, I swirled around to look the other way. “Would you mind humping each other back at Rhys’ dorm?! I don’t want to be scarred.”

I heard shuffling behind me, both of them probably getting off my already ruined mattress.

“Sorry H, we got a bit carried away…” Greyson chuckled awkwardly, making me take it as a sign that they were no longer on top of one another.

“Y-Yeah sorry…” Rhys joined in, his face flushed once I finally turned around.

I rolled my green irises, “I don’t mind you guys…you know…doing things,” I coughed, “b-but, uh, not on my newly made bed please.”

“Yeah, don’t worry. We won’t do it while you’re in the room.” Rhys reassured, straightening out his jacket that I just noticed he hadn’t even taken off. “I actually came here to ask you if you wanted to go for a coffee. You too, Harry.”

“Sure.” I smiled, really wanting to get to know this other Omega better.

“Sorry babe, I really have to get some sleep.” Greyson gave his boyfriend an apologetic look; “Harry woke me up at 3am to help get his things from downstairs.” He shot me a glare, to which I immediately flushed in embarrassment at the thought.

“O-Oh, yeah, um—sorry ‘bout that.” I mumbled, my eyes turning downward to examine my sock clad feet.

“It’s alright,” I heard Rhys’ small voice cut in, “You should get your sleep. Harry and I will just go and then maybe we could do something later.” He reassured his boyfriend, smiling wider as the Alpha placed a sweet kiss on his cheek.

My heart clenched as I watched the two lovebirds get all cuddly. I really wanted to have a mate like that. Someone who’d love me unconditionally and would show their admiration just like Greyson and Rhys.

Just be patient. I reminded myself, taking in a deep breath, be patient and you’ll find the one that’s meant for you.

“Harry?” A hand waved in front of my face, snapping me out of my inner thoughts. “Are you ready? The coffee shops just around the corner.”

“Oh yeah, of course. Let me just grab my coat.” I smiled nervously, my cheeks flushing a bright red.

Without another glance, I walked over to my wardrobe and retrieved my black trench coat, along with a dark green beanie that I had slipped over my wild curls. I debated if I should grab gloves or not, but then realized that the coffee should keep my hands warm enough.

Shutting the door to the wardrobe, I buttoned up the coat and turned back around to face the couple.

“Ready?” Rhys asked, giving me a small smile.

“Ready.” I grinned, walking over to the wooden door.

I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion when I noticed Greyson trailing down the deserted hallway right behind us.

“I thought you were going back to sleep?” I questioned him.

“I am.” He nodded, grabbing Rhys’ hand in his, “But I’m not letting the two of you walk down this Alpha covered hallway on your own.”

Rhys rolled his eyes, “You’re such a worry wart.”

“Only cause I love you.” Greyson replied cheekily, kissing the Omega’s temple.

I laughed along with them even if I was dying inside of how lonely my life is.

-----

“So there’s been no trouble with Alpha’s yet?” Rhys asked me as we took the final booth in the crowded coffee shop.

“N-No, none.” I answered nervously; popping the lid off my medium sized vanilla latte, “Should I be worried?”

“Um, depends on the Alpha.” He shrugged simply, ripping one of the packages of brown sugar and dumping it into his scolding hot chocolate.

“Isn’t it just the—uh, Tops I should be worrying about?” I muttered, as if saying their gang name any louder would summon them.

“The Tops? You shouldn’t be bothered by them.” Rhys assured, stirring his drink with one of the green sticks provided. “They won’t bother you if you don’t bother them. You should only be worried if you’re their Omega, and you obviously aren’t.”

“I-I’m not?” I raised an eyebrow, confused as to how he could be so sure. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I really am praying I’m not the Omega they’re searching for because something tells that that would immediately put me into a dangerous situation.

“You can’t be. If you were, they would have found you by now.”

“Huh?”

He rolled his eyes, giving me an are-you-stupid look; “They’re probably the most powerful Alphas you’ll meet in your lifetime. They could smell you from miles away, and as I have noticed, you are on the same floor as them. If they haven’t sniffed you up by now, there isn’t a chance it’s you.”

I nodded, bringing my beverage up to my lips and taking a tiny sip. The little liquid burnt my tongue a little, telling me that I need to give it more time to cool off.

“You should be happy though. I couldn’t ever imagine being the mate of those four boys. They’re so—“

I raised an eyebrow, lifting my head away from the latte to look at the other Omega across the table. Rhys looked frozen in place, his mouth stuck agape and his eyes wide with what seems to be terror.

“So?...” I continued on, trying to bring him back to his current conversation. “What’re you looking at?” I asked worriedly, waving a hand in front of his face as he still kept his gaze behind me. With complete ignorance, I shifted in my seat to glance at what was keeping Rhys so shocked.

My eyes widened largely at the two Alphas staring back at us. It was the same blonde and blue eyed one I saw yesterday, except instead of being with that tanned brown eyed one, he was with another blue eyed Alpha with feather swept hair.

Once I completely turned my attention to the two larger males, their gazes shifted from glaring at Rhys, to glaring at me.

I gulped under the intense stare, everything else around me suddenly feeling frozen. It felt as though I was stuck in a trance with just the two well-built Alphas, everyone else a complete blur.

“Harry! Harry!” A voice chanted behind me, the same person tugging at my arm desperately.

My moment of shock made me whip back around to the person touching me—Rhys.

“Harry, get up.” He gritted, already standing up.

“W-What? Why? W-What about our dri—“

“Shut up and stand. Quickly.” He persisted, shooting me a hurried glance while he kept an eye on the two remaining Alphas behind me.

I shakily rose to my feet, keeping my green hues locked on the Omega in front of me, waiting for his next command.

“Harry…” He began in a whispered tone, eying me from the corner of his eye, “Run.”

“What?” I whispered back in astonishment, leaning closer to him so he could repeat what I thought I mistakenly heard.

“Run!” He spoke louder, grabbing my arm tightly and tugging me harshly behind him as he made a mad dash to the back door.

I heard two loud growls behind me, feet immediately stomping after us.

“Move! Move!” I heard the two blue-eyed boys holler.

Rhys grasped the arms of another couple in front of the exit door with his free hand, shoving them backwards into the two Alphas behind us.

“Rhys! Rhys! W-What are—“ I huffed, now out of the coffee shop and being dragged hurriedly outside in the opposite direction of my dorm.

“Where are we going!?” I called, glancing backwards and seeing that the blue eyes were still stuck in the café which had now erupted in chaos after the scene Rhys and I has caused.

“My dorm!” He shouted, knowing the Alphas couldn’t hear us over the loud noise of the café.

-----

“What the hell was that!? I screamed in utter exhaustion, giving him a shocked stare. “Why were you pulling me so fast that I felt like my arm was going to get ripped out of its socket?”

“I know, I’m sorry Harry, but I really needed you away from those Alphas.” He sighed, shutting the door of his single dorm room.

“What good is taking me to your dorm going to do? They’ll just track us and then kill us for whatever reason they were chasing us.”

“They can’t get in here. This is an all Omega dorm house and Alphas wouldn’t be allowed in.” He shook his head firmly, taking a seat on his messily made bed.

“Alright…” I huffed, “But what did they want with us?”

“Not us.” Rhys chuckled breathlessly, “You.”
