Storm's Pov
"You stupid. hit. can't. hit. keep it. hit. in your motherfucking pants. hit. ugly son of a bitch. hit!!!!" Smacking Lyle with my pillow as he tries to block it with his arm.
"Storm stop it's okay, you'll hurt him!" Artemis yells tugging my arm trying to pull me away from Lyle.
"Good, death by pillow should do the trick! Next time he'll think twice before christening my bed with his juices!" I snap hitting Lyle who is laughing.
"Payback bitch!" He cackles.
I scoff at him."Payback for what?!
"For hogging the damn toilet and being a dick for the past few months!" He yells trying to dodge the pillow.
I pause my movement and he uses that opportunity to move from underneath me. "You self certified idiot! Why couldn't you I don't maybe put a spider on my bed because I'm freaking terrified of them!"
"And have you put a fucking snake in my shoe like the last time. Yeah I think the fuck not. "He says sarcastically and I growl at him. He cackles again and runs heading straight for the door. Oh no you don't.
Chasing after him, I hear Artemis calling me but I'm too annoyed to even pay attention to her. Lyle throws himself on an unsuspecting Jay.
"Ooof." Jay wheezes out cupping his crotch and rolling over with Lyle on top of him. Ha killing two birds with a freaking pillow. I grab Lyle and slam him against the wall. He groans but smirks at me.
"Storm let him go." Artemis says grabbing my arm.
"Yeah Storm let me go." He taunts and I glare at him. I turn my head to look at Jay who is recovering, muttering under his breath. He stands up and glares at Lyle.
"What the hell dude! That's my baby tool you nearly destroyed." He grumbles and Lyle shrugs at him
"You freaking knew what he was doing in my room and didn't say a thing!" I yell at Jay and he smiles sheepishly at me.
"It wasn't my place to tell." He shrugs sitting back down on the couch. I let go of Lyle and stare at Jay with disbelief.
"Are you kidding me? He was having sex in my room on my freaking bed and you're telling me it wasn't your place to tell!" I yell and walk towards him but freeze when arms wrap around my waist. Artemis lays her head on my back and squeezes me tightly.
"Relax Storm." She murmurs and I feel myself relaxing. I sigh and turn wrapping my arms around her shoulder hugging her close to me.
"I mean it's not the first time he's had sex in your room." Jay mutters and both I and Artemis freeze.
"Shoot." Artemis says.
"Oh for fuck sakes Jay you just had to open your damn mouth!" Lyle snaps at him.
"Artemis let me go." I say through clenched teeth and she shakes her head.
"It's not worth it." She whispers.
"Yes it is. I need to knock some-
"Artemis!" Lyle cuts me off getting up from the floor and walking towards her with his arms stretched wide. He pulls her in for a hug swinging her around as she giggles. "I've missed you!"
"You don't even know her." I deadpan. He looks over her shoulder and smirks at me as he lowers his hand closer to her butt.
"You wouldn't dare." I mouth to him glaring at his hand.
"Try me." He mouths back.
My eyes widen when realisation dawns on me. I pull Artemis back into my arms and glare at him. "Go take a shower." I say in disgust. He laughs at me but nods his head. I pull Artemis to the kitchen, lifting her and placing her on the counter as I rummage through the cupboards.
"Uh Storm what are you doing?" She asks but I ignore her.
"Where did Sunny place those damn things." I mutter to myself bending down to check the cupboards there.
"Sunny? Who is Sunny?" Artemis questions. I move towards the fridge checking to see if I'll find it on top.
"Ha! Found it." I grin to myself, taking it and walking towards her. I slam the wipes on the table and step between her legs as I pull one out ready to wipe her body clean but she grabs my wrist.
"Who is Sunny?" Artemis says glaring at me, her eyes glowing vibrant violet.
"Artemis your eyes! Someone will see it, change it back." I whisper yell but she ignores me.
"For the last time who is Sunny?" She says through clenched teeth.
Scrunching my face in confusion I look at her weirdly. "Sunny is my sister." She freezes and I watch as her eyes turn from vibrant violet to dull violet and finally green.
"Oh." She murmurs blushing.
"Yeah oh. Why who do you think she was?" I smile teasingly at her and she lowers her eyes.
"Ithoughtshewasyourgirlfriendandigotjealousthinkingabout it."She murmurs.
Cupping my ear I bring it closer to her. "I'm sorry could you repeat that I didn't quite catch it."
"I said I thought she was your girlfriend so I got jealous." She pouts and I chuckle at her.
"Definitely not." I reply. Wiping her cheeks she stares at me weirdly and I stop my actions. "What? "
"What are you doing?" She asks suspiciously and I frown.
"Wiping you clean why?"
"With wipes?"
Feeling confused as to where this is going I ask her. "You prefer I use my saliva or something?"
She gives me a flat look and I smile at her wiping her cheeks gently. "You know you never told me why we are here?" I point out and she nods her head at me.
"True. I thought you might wanna see your friends and maybe take some clothes along with you." She says tracing circles on my hand absentmindedly.
I stop wiping, furrowing my brows at her."Why would I take clothes with me?"
"Well I need you by my side and you said you understood about the whole werewolf mate thing." She explains and I step back.
"I can't just up and leave Artemis. I had a life before I met you still do, I have college, family and friends." I retort and she cross her arms in front of her.
"I know that but you're also my mate and I need you with me." She replies.
"Well you have been without me for-wait how old are you?"
"I'm 19."
"Exactly you've been without me for 19 years so I don't think this should be a problem." I shrug and her eyes change to violet.
"You don't get it Storm. I can't be without my mate now that I have found him. My wolf will go crazy, then I will go crazy and you do not want to see crazy me and I've already told you I need to protect you."
I roll my eyes at her throwing my hands in the air. "Here we go again with protecting me. I can handle myself Artemis, I don't need protection of any sort."
She frowns at me."Yes you do. I need to keep you safe else he-how about you stay with me for your break and when it ends I'll let you come back." She compromises and I stare at her suspiciously but deciding to drop what ever she was initially going to say.
"Fine." I agree and she squeals hugging me. Just then Lyle and Jay walk in.
"What are we celebrating?" Lyle says hopping onto the counter.
"Your future death." I state bluntly and Jay laughs. "Don't laugh you'll be buried next to him." I add and he flips me off.
"So where did you disappear to Artemis?" Jay casually ask and I glance at her wondering what she's going to say.
"I travelled." She replies shortly.
"Mmm." Jay hums.
"Anyway I came here to get my clothes, so if you'll excuse me." I mutter and leave the kitchen before they can ask questions. The urge to throw up when I enter my room increases. Fuck, I'll never forgive Lyle for that and what's worst it's not even the first time he's done and hold on a minute, I actually slept on that-
I gag. "I'll definitely get you back for this." Opening my closet, I grab the duffle bag and shove my clothes inside. Who can be bothered about folding, definitely not this guy. Making sure that I've grabbed everything, I head out only to stop when I find them watching a football game with boxes of pizza around them. I lean on the wall as I stare at Artemis screaming at the TV. Who would have thought that werewolves were real and I currently have one in my apartment screaming at the tv. I mean I know life is weird but seriously werewolves; couldn't life have given me a normal girl who doesn't like me just because of some bond thing.
I frown when the thought crosses my mind, what if I like her just because of this bond or whatever they call it. I sigh in frustration and run my fingers through my messy hair, I'll just have to ask her.
It seems one of the teams scores because Artemis suddenly screams bouncing on the couch and points to Jay. "Ha in your face pay up." Jay grumbles and hands her twenty dollars. Artemis smirks at him and turns to high-five Lyle.
Deciding to announce my presence I clear my throat and six pairs of eyes turn to look at me. Artemis smiles and jumps over the couch to stand beside me showing me the money she got.
"See we're rich." She says excitedly taking a bite of her pizza and I laugh at her.
"I can see that." I grin and she gives me a toothy grin. Fuck her smile is beautiful, we stare at each other just smiling.
"We're right here you know." Lyle says and the smile quickly drops from my face. I narrow my eyes at him and he smiles innocently.
"So where are you guys going?" Jay says.
"Road trip." I reply.
"For how long?"
"Until break is over."
"Ooh can I come?" Lyle cuts in excitedly.
"VIP only." I shut him down and he pouts. Artemis slaps my arm and gives me a disappointed look. "What? It's the truth and I highly doubt you want him to know about you being a werewolf and all." I whisper the last part and she presses her lips together before sighing.
"Anyway we got to go. I'll see you later, Lyle wash my sheets and I swear to God if I get back to find you having sex on my bed again I will kill you." He rolls his eyes but nods at me. Artemis walks over to them quickly pulling them in for a hug and whispering something into Lyle's ears. I narrow my eyes at the smug look he is gives me, what did she tell you? I grab her hand, waving at my friends and heading back to the parking lot.
Shoving my bag in the backseat I wait for Artemis to buckle up. She gets comfortable and turns to look at me, "Uh why haven't you started the car?" She questions.
"What did you say to Lyle?"
"Huh?"
I frown at her. "Back at the apartment you said so-
Realisation dawns on her and she shrugs."I told him that he, Jay and I will go on a roadtrip another time."
I raise my brow at her, "I didn't hear my name in it."
"VIP only." She says smugly and I flick her forehead. "Ouch! Storm that was painful." She pouts rubbing it gently.
"Suck it up." I start the car and we drive off. We get back before the sun sets and I park the car, taking my bag and helping Artemis out of the car. We hear the front door open and Selena rushes out of the house heading straight towards us. I push Artemis behind me and she mutters something under her breath that oddly sounds like 'I'm the werewolf here not you.' but oh well must be the wind.
"I suggest that you don't go there." She breaths out bending down to catch her breath. "Why the hell am I so out of breath?" She mutters to herself.
Artemis moves from behind me and frowns at Selena. "Why can't I go in-"
"BOOM!" We jump back when we hear something explode followed by a loud crash. Artemis growls and before I can even blink the wind gushes and the space beside me empty. My jaw drops as I stare at the spot Artemis is standing well was standing anyway
"What the fuck." I whisper to myself.
"Yeah I know still surprises me." Selena mutters and just then another crash is heard. I drop my bag on the ground about to take a step forward when Selena holds me back. "I don't think it's a good idea." She chastises and I frown at her.
"Artemis might be hurt."
"She can take care of herself." She murmurs and another crash is heard again. I don't even think before I'm running to the house and Selena yelling for me to come back. I open the door and my eyes widen when I see a plate heading straight for my face but someone tackles me to the ground before it hits me flying straight outside.
"I told you it was a bad idea." Selena mutters beside me and I send her grateful nod. I help her get up and the sight that greets me is horrible. The walls covered in burn marks, broken plates and vases lie on the floor and wait is that the TV?
"Holy crap what the hell happened here?" I whisper.
"My thoughts exactly." She mutters to herself. We hear screaming coming from the living room and glance at each other before running there. I stop in my tracks when I find Ollie and a strange looking woman dressed in a green cloak, her purple hair tied in messy bun, face looking furious as she yells at Ollie. I don't even know what is worse the fact that the inside of the house is destroyed or Ollie looking worse the than inside of the house or maybe it's Artemis sitting comfortably on a chair eating popcorn.
"I don't even know why Artemis still keeps you around!!" She yells throwing a pillow that Ollie dodges.
"Well maybe it's the fact that I'm awesome but wait you wouldn't know that because your friends are all inanimate objects!!" He yells and dodges the book shelf. Wait what the fuck!!!
"You're an asshole!"
"Yeah well you're a psycho bitch but you don't hear me complaining!" I crouch down and crawl towards Artemis. I tap her and she looks down at me her eyes widening.
"What the hell are you doing here Storm?! You could get hurt!" She whisper yells and I give her a pointed look.
"I could say the same for you and popcorn really, I thought you'd be breaking up the fight by now." I scold and she shrugs at me.
"It's best to leave them alone until they cool down." She mutters going back to eating her popcorn and I stare at her incredulously. Selena joins Artemis also stuffing her face with popcorn. I raise my brow at her and she stops mid chew.
"What? She's right getting in between that is suicidal and I'm hungry anyway." She says chewing again. All of a sudden the temperature in the room heats up and I look around in confusion, is there a fire or something. I raise my head to see what is going on and I freeze, is that fire coming from her palms? Ollie stares at her in shock and raises his hand in surrender.
"Hey now, don't do anything rush okay. I didn't mean to call you a powerless bitch because you definitely have powers." He pleads stepping back but the woman just continues to glare at him murderously.
Selena taps Artemis on her hand even looking a bit scared. "Artemis I think you should do something."
"Do what? He had it coming, you know how much she hates it when someone calls her powerless." She murmurs still eating her popcorn.
Selena stares at her in disbelief. "Artemis she's freaking pissed and if you don't do something well you won't have a beta anymore." Artemis shrugs.
"Not my problem." Now it's mine turn to stare at her in shock.
Selena slaps her forehead clearly getting frustrated with her. She grabs her shoulder quickly shaking her, "Think about your freaking mate!" She snaps and this time Artemis jumps to her feet growling at the both of them, her eyes glowing red as she glares at Ollie and the woman. She stands in between them seething with fury but the woman ignores her.
"Stand down." Artemis says calmly.
"Artemis I suggest you move out of the way if you don't want to end up as roast alpha." She spits outs but Artemis stands her ground.
"Save me Artemis."
"Shut up Ollie. This is your fault." She snaps at him and he scoffs at her.
"My fault? That crazy woman started all of this!" Artemis snarls at him and that shuts him up quickly. The house begins to shake and I hold onto the wall for support. Artemis turns to look at me and her eyes flash in concern because that fuels her rage and before James Charles can say hi sisters she grabs the woman by the neck slamming her against the wall and cracking it in the process.
"I said enough!" She booms and heck it takes everything in me not to drop on the floor like Selena and Ollie did. The woman bows her head and relaxes. The shaking stops and the temperature goes back to normal.
"I'm calm." I hear her mutter and Artemis slowly releases her. She rushes to my side bending down as she cups my cheeks staring at me worriedly.
"Are you okay Storm?" She whispers running her eyes frantically all over my face.
I lean my forehead on hers gently rubbing my thumb on her cheeks. "I'm fine Artemis, I'm okay."
Shaking her head at me she purses her lips."I should have done something sooner gosh I'm sorry for eating the popcorn. You could have gotten hurt." She whispers sadly and I pull back to stare into her violet eyes.
"You should have but it's okay I'm not hurt and besides I finally saw you in action and that was pretty hot." I whisper in her ear and she shivers.
"I'm sorry Alpha."Ollie says dejectedly and Artemis sighs getting up to face him.
"Well at least it's better than the last time." She replies and Ollie grins.
"Yeah it was, wasn't it?"
"I was kinda hopping to see Ollie burn but I didn't want to get burnt as well." Selena says eating the last bit of popcorn. Ollie flips her off and she chuckles at him.
"I'll fix your house for you Artemis." The woman says smiling sheepishly at her. I gasp when I look into her eyes.
"Your eyes?" I whisper and she smiles at me.
"Yeah I know." Her eyes don't stay at one colour but change every second from blue to green, to hazel to black and finally blue again. She observes me curiously and turns to Artemis raising her brow at her. "Your mate I presume."
Artemis nods her head smiling at her and she scoffs. "No wonder you slammed me against the wall and by the way I don't appreciate you doing that." She says seriously and Artemis shrugs.
"I'm so confused right now, who is she?" I say and the woman brings her gaze back to mine.
Offering me a smile she brings her hand forward. "Where are my manners, I'm Esmeralda Asmiel the first white witch but you can call me Esme for short."

I wonder what will happen next. You know I might be the one writing the story but heck I'm curious as to what will happen because a witch wow just wow.
