Storm's Pov
I clench the wheels tightly, my knuckles turning white when I look through the rear view mirror, Sunny's head bent with a light blush coating her cheeks as Ollie continues to stare at her with a smirk on his face.
I release an annoyed sigh, running my fingers through my hair my jaw tightening when I think about the whole situation. My sister cannot be apart of this thing, absolutely not.
"Storm slow down a bit." Lyle says pulling me out of my thoughts. Gently easing my feet of the accelerator, I sigh staring at them one last time, I didn't even realize I was speeding.
I glance at Lyle to see him giving me a weird look. He nods his head raising his brow at me. "You okay there?"
No Lyle I'm not okay.
"Yeah I'm fine." I mutter. Sunny leans forward sticking her head between I and Lyle's seat, tapping me on the shoulder and I quickly glance in her direction.
"There's a club-
"No." I cut her off and she scowls narrowing her eyes at me.
"Like I was saying, there's a club just right at the corner. We should be there in about five minutes." She retorts her face blank as she stares at me waiting for me to tell her no.
I purse my lips brows furrowed before I sigh. There's no way she's gonna let this go. "Fine." I grit out and she grins ruffling my hair before sitting back down but accidentally makes contact with Ollie's hand and she gasps freezing in her seat and Ollie's eyes becomes electric blue again.
I clear my throat loudly, glaring at him and he snaps his gaze to me. I subtly point to my eyes making sure he knows what is happening.
"Oh." He murmurs in realisation closing his eyes and taking a deep breath before opening them again. I nod at him and he sends me a grateful nod, eyes shifting back to Sunny.
He turns in his seat, a smirk on his face. "Hi I'm Ollie." He introduces stretching out his hand toward her and she blushes.
Disgusting.
"I'm Sunny." She says softly grasping his hand. I narrow my eyes at him when he deliberately pulls her forward leaning close so their nose brushes. She parts her lips staring into his eyes and I have to hold in the gag.
"Can you do this somewhere else." Jay grumbles and Lyle turns in his seat raising his brow at him.
"You shouldn't be complaining considering what you did." He smirks wiggling his brow at him and Jay leans forward pushing his face away.
"Shut up." He huffs staring out the window. I clench my jaw when Ollie tucks a strand of her hair behind her ear, lightly brushing his fingers across her cheeks and smirks when she shivers sucking in her breath.
"Wanna know something?" He whispers but I can definitely hear it.
She nods staring at him in awe and he smiles.
"I was gonna use pickup lines on you but you're so beautiful you made me forget them."
Awful.
I run my tongue along the inside of my cheek glaring at the road in front of me before looking back into the mirror again. Sunny lowers her eyes, a blush on her cheek and he tilts her chin up, bringing her face closer to his.
Oh they better not fucking do this here.
She glances at his lips, raising her eyes to stare at him and Ollie sucks in a breath rubbing the pads of his thumb against her cheeks, their nose brushing together.
I think the fucking think not.
I immediately hit the breaks, the sound of something hitting the back of my seat followed by a groan, Lyle nearly flying from his seat and Ollie and Sunny bumping their heads together. "We're here!" I say excitedly.
"What the fuck!" Jay snaps rubbing his nose. I smile in satisfaction when Ollie scowls at me and Sunny gives me an annoyed look, eyes blazing with fire.
I grin turning in my seat only to freeze when Lyle gives me a disapproving stare. I raise my brow at him. "What?"
He clicks his tongue shaking his head at me before getting out of the car. I roll my eyes also getting out. The name of the club in bright neon colours.
"A.S.S?" I question staring at the weird name and Jay snickers under his breath. Sunny stands beside me a smirk on her face as she nods.
"Yup A.S.S." She takes a step forward and I grasp her wrist stopping her. She raises her brow at me, giving me a questioning look.
"Don't drink too much."
She rolls her eyes squeezing my arm. "I'm the older one here." And with that walks away with a loud whoop, Lyle and Jay cheering her on as they enter the club.
I narrow my eyes at them, a tired sigh escaping me and pushing my hair from my face. I frown when I realise Ollie is staring at the spot she was in, a glare on his face, fist clenched to the side.
"Ollie." I drawl out slowly stepping in front of him
"Who hurt her?" He grits out body shaking in anger and I furrow my brows in confusion before my eyes widen in realisation. How could I have forgotten that Ollie is basically a male wolf, possessive and definitely going to be over protective now that he has her.
Well this should be good.
"Her ex." I mumble. His chest vibrates with a growl before it deathly silent, a smirk overtaking his face. I frown staring at him weirdly when he smiles.
"Uh Ollie." I mutter hesitantly wondering why he looks so creepy right now. He laughs running his fingers through his hair, nodding to himself as if he finally made a discovery.
"Let's go inside." He replies walking past me with an air of calmness around him. I frown staring at his back, I don't think he was meant to react that way knowing that his mate was hurt.
His mate? My sister is his mate.
I sigh one last time following him inside temporarily blinded by the flickering lights, the smell of smoke, sweat and drunk people hit my nose and I have to shift my body in order to pass the dancing bodies. Well the place looks packed, guess it's a popular one. I find Lyle, Jay, Sunny and Ollie all at the bar and judging by the way Lyle and Sunny keep on giggling I can tell they are drunk.
It hasn't even been an hour, how did they get this drunk. I grab the drink before she can bring it to her lips, glaring at her when she pouts.
"Storm." She whines reaching for it and I pull back shoving it into the hand of some random guy passing who stares at it weirdly before shrugging and taking a huge gulp. She turns to glare at me pointing a shaky finger in my direction.
"Don't ruin the fun." Her words come out slured and I press my lips together. She looks at Ollie a sly smirk on her face, raising her hand and rubbing it across the span of his chest.
She leans closer, staring at him from under her brows, lips tilted up in a smile. "Do you want to know what your shirt is made of?" She questions, lightly tracing his jaw and Ollie wraps an arm around her waist pulling her flush against his body as he leans closer to whisper in her ear.
"What?"
I stare at them flatly, is this how she flirts? Because if it is then she sucks. This wouldn't be torturous if I wasn't standing close to them.
She pulls back gripping his chin firmly. "Boyfriend material." and giggles. He steps back arm still wrapped around her and raises his brow, eyes shinning with amusement.
"That's was cheesy." He grins shaking his head and Sunny laughs slapping his chest lightly.
"Not as cheesy as the one in the car." She teases and Ollie gasp placing his hand on his chest.
"How dare you! That was totally the perfect thing to say." Sunny giggles again rolling her eyes at him and he smirks, eyes searching her face before it lands on the scarf around her neck and the happy look falters a bit before smiling once again but this time I see it.
The crazed look in his eyes. I saw this in Artemis eyes when she practically ripped out the heart of the wolf.
Sunny grabs his hand pulling him to the dance floor and I lean against the stool watching them. Jay already took off with some girl on his arm and Lyle keeps on drinking. He leans his head on my shoulder a sigh escaping him.
"You wanna know something?" he mumbles a hiccup escaping him.
"No not really." I mutter but he continues despite my words and playing with the ends of my hair, a thoughtful look on his face.
"I think there's something weird about Ollie and Artemis."
I freeze, slowly turning my head to face him and he pouts grabbing my head but I shake his hand off placing my drink on the counter, raising my brow at him. "How so?"
He sighs, placing his arm on the table and resting his head against it lips forming into a slight pout. "First." He starts showing me two fingers and I drop one, he blinks, shaking his head before nodding. "Right, first they are so damn fit and freaking tan!"
"That doesn't make them weird." I deadpan and he scowls at me.
"I wasn't done." I press my lips together gesturing for him to go on and he taps his finger against his chin squinting his eyes and begins to hit my arm excitedly. "Oh, oh! I remember another one!" He exclaims still hitting me and I stare at him irritatingly, grabbing his wrist before he can hit me again.
"Talk." I hiss through clenched teeth.
"The growling in the apartment and like before we got here, I don't know maybe it was the trick of light but I swear I saw Ollie's eyes change colour."
I purse my lips when he says that, well you aren't wrong Lyle. "You're drunk."
He scoffs, pushing his hair from his face. "I wasn't back then." I shrug raising my drink to my lips, deep in thought about what he said. Lyle is smart and I know he won't let this go, fuck I have to be careful and warn Artemis about this. I can't have my bestfriend involved with this.
I sigh staring at a passed out Lyle, turning to raise my brow at the girl trying to feel me up. She smiles seductively at me and I give her blank look. She's hot that I can say but she's not Artemis hot.
"Hi." She whispers a smirk on her face.
"Yes." I respond flatly bringing the drink to my lips. Her composure falters but she regains it back lightly tracing her finger on my chest.
"What's your name?" She says stepping close to me practically destroying my bubble.
"NYB." I mutter slapping her finger from my chest.
She furrows her brows in confusion. "What's that?"
"None of your business." I reply looking away from her to find Lyle fast asleep. See what I meant by sleeping at random places. Well I'm definitely not carrying him back. A hand grabs my drink and I purse my lips watching as the same girl brings it to her lips winking at me.
"I'm Sophia."
"I didn't ask." I state bluntly glaring at the empty glass.
She laughs slapping my arm. "Oh you're so funny." and twirls her hair around her finger, a coy smile on her face.
What I said wasn't funny. Gosh is this what Jay does. Wait Jay won't even bother having a conversation with you, he'll just go straight for it.
"So how about-
"Look her ma'am." I start knowing its definitely going to irk her when I use that.
"Ma'am?" She questions staring at me in disbelief and I nod my head, a blank look on my face.
"Yes ma'am. Want me to spell it out for you?" She opens her mouth to speak up but I interrupt her. "I didn't want to say this but could you stop touching me and back the hell away." I smile politely watching as a scowl appears on her face.
"You're a jerk!" She exclaims, giving me a disgusted look. "If this is how you think you're going to- what are you doing?" She stops abruptly staring at me weirdly and I continue my search looking around.
I sigh a disappointed look on my face as I purse my lips. "I was looking for when I asked for your opinion but it seems I can't find it." I mutter dejectedly and she gapes at me in horror, huffing and throwing her hair behind her shoulder, walking away from me.
Finally! Her perfume was giving me a massive headache. I sigh taking out my phone to check the time. It's almost midnight. We've been here for almost five hours.
Ollie appears with a totally wasted Sunny on his arm. My face softens as I stare at her, you only get to see Sunny vulnerable when she's drunk.
I tap Lyle, shaking him when he doesn't wake up and he swats my hand away. "Go away mom." He slurs climbing the table and curling himself into a ball. The bar tender looks at him weirdly and I close my eyes tightly running my fingers through my hair before I grab his arm bringing him down from there.
He leans forward placing a slobbering kiss on my cheek and I scowl wiping it away. I hate my life. I look up to see a smirk on Ollie's face and the scowl deepens.
"Not a word from you." I hiss through clenched teeth and he makes a move of zipping his lips but I can definitely tell he is trying not to laugh considering how his shoulders keep moving up and down.
We head out and I find Jay already leaning against the car, mouth opened and a bit of drool on the window. I narrow my eyes at it unlocking the door and kicking him in the shin to wake him up.
"W-what.." he mumbles looking around in confusion.
"Get in." I snap and he nods his head. He opens the door basically banging his head against the top of the car, muttering curses under his breath before he ducks sluggishly entering it.
I open the front door, dumping Lyle's body and Ollie gently helps Sunny into it. The ride back to the apartment is silent except for the occasional hiccups coming from them.
Ollie helps me drag them back to their rooms before he helps Sunny in my bed. I lean against the door watching him as he takes her shoes off and unwrapping the scarf around her neck.
Fist clenching tightly when he stares at the bruise around her neck. He raises his hand lightly tracing his finger across it and sucks in a deep breath. He shuts his eyes tightly, looking away before he opens them tucking her under the covers and placing a kiss against her forehead.
He stands up and turns to face me, the scarf clenched tightly in his fist. I jerk my head signalling him to follow me and he nods taking one last glance at her before following me out of the room.
I grab my keys again, taking my phone from my pocket. "Come on we have one last stop."Â He furrows his brow but doesn't question me following me out of the apartment, fingers moving fast across the screen calling a person I know for sure is definitely not asleep. He picks up on the first ring.
"What do you want asshole?" He grumbles and I scowl at my phone.
"No cussing at your brother dickhead." I snap and Snow chuckles.
"We both know that is not happening." He retorts calmly and I sigh rolling my eyes.
"Whatever. Anyway I need your help." I mutter starting the car and Ollie glances in my direction still staring weirdly at me.
I hear the sound of something moving around in the background and finally a crunching sound meets my ear. I press my lips together, is he seriously going to that.
"What do you need?" He questions the crunching sound even louder.
"Can you stop that it's fucking annoying." I snap.
There's a pause before the sound comes again. "Nope." I can hear the smugness in his voice knowing that what he is doing is clearly irritating me.
I narrow my eyes knowing that he is smirking right now. "I need the address of the asshole who hurt Sunny."
I glance at Ollie to see him staring at me in surprise and I shrug. "We're going to kick ass." I mouth to him and his eyes lit up, a giddy smile on his face and nods getting comfortable in his seat.
Snow growls and I know he is probably clenching and unclenching his fist right now.
"I'll text it to you." I hum in response. "Oh and Storm fuck him up." He says
"No problem." I mutter hanging up. A minute doesn't pass before I get the text from him and would you look at that it's not that far from here. Snow definitely has his ways.
"So your mate huh?" I question glancing in his direction for a minute.
"Yeah." He says and I can hear the smile in his voice. "How is she like?"
I frown tapping my finger against the wheel. "Annoying, loud, scary when she wants to be, crazy well she's like you but maybe a bit worse."
He chuckles a smirk on his face. "Perfect." I roll my eyes at him. Turning on the street of the asshole, I stop at his house the lights turned off and I frown.
"Is this the place?" Ollie questions staring at the house in front of us and I nod my head getting out of the car. He follows suit taking fast steps to the front door and I grab his arm quickly, stopping him before he can break down the door.
"Are you crazy?!" I whisper yell glaring at him and he shrugs. I sigh frustratingly running my fingers through my hair. "You can't break the door down, else it's gonna wake him up."
He lips form an 'oh' before he smirks bending down and my jaw drops as his nail becomes long and sharp, picking the lock with it. He smiles in satisfaction when we hear the click, a proud look on his face.
"I'd like to see Artemis do that." He mumbles to himself cockily and I raise my brow at him. He waves me off, grabbing the handle and opening it. He sniffs the air, eyes glowing electric blue as he snaps his gaze upstairs a slow smirk forming on his face.
I'm actually considering if it was a good idea to bring him here. His steps slow and deliberate as he climbs up. Not even the sound of his shoes can be heard and he stops in front of a door taking in deep breaths before a grin makes way to his face.
He opens the door, stepping inside and I follow him, a glare on my face as I watch the asshole asleep with another girl on his arm. My jaw tightens, looking around the room to find scattered clothes on the floor and my glare intensifies.
Ollie walks slowly to them, stopping right at the edge of the bed peering over them with a hint of curiosity in his eyes. He scoffs muttering something under his breath and points to the guy. "Look at him."
I raise my brow. "Yeah so?"
He scoffs again rolling his eyes. "He doesn't know how satisfy a girl." He mutters glaring at him and I bite the inside of my cheeks giving him a flat look.
"How is that even relevant?" I snap
He shakes his head, leaning forward and shaking the girl awake. My jaw drops and I step forward to stop him. "Ollie stop it! Your eyes!" I whisper yell but he ignores me still shaking her until she finally wakes up eyes widening and she opens her mouth to scream but Ollie slaps his hand against her mouth bringing his finger to his lip.
She nods her head staring into his eyes. "I'm going to take my hand off but you have to promise not to scream okay." He says and she nods again.
Ollie grins taking his hand off her mouth slowly and I wait for her to scream but she doesn't. She leans forward cupping his cheeks, the cover dropping from her body and I close my eyes turning around.
Of course she's naked.
"Your eyes.."She trails off
"Cool isn't it?" Ollie retorts and I turn back around in time to see her nod. He picks the blanket wrapping it around her, eyes never once straying away from her face as he sighs, a sad look on his face. "You've suffered great injustice." He mutters grabbing a strand of her hair and twirling it around his finger.
She frowns staring at him in confusion. "What?" Ollie nods pointing to the asshole who is still fucking asleep.
"Yes. I can tell the sex was bad." He mutters shaking his head.
The girl leans back in shock wrapping the the blanket tightly around her. "What the heck!"
Ollie clicks his tongue against the roof of his mouth. "I doubt you even finished."
I stare at him in shock. Is he really doing this right now?
She glares at him tucking her hair behind her. "Who do you think you are?" She snaps.
He grins wiggling his brow at her. "Your fairy godfather." With that he grabs her neck quickly snapping it and he catches her before she can fall.
"Ollie!" I yell forgetting about using my inside voice. I stare at him horror as he gently carries her placing her on the couch. I smack his head glaring at him. "Why the fuck did you have to kill her?"
He scowls at me rubbing his head. "You and Artemis are so abusive. You're lucky you're my alpha." He grumbles and I glare at him pointing to girl.
"You didn't have to do that!"
He rolls his eyes at me. "Relax would ya. She's not dead just unconscious." He mumbles and I bend down placing my finger under her nose and sighing in relief when I find her breathing.
"See totally fine."
I stand up my eyes narrowing into slits but he ignores me walking towards the bed and does the most dreadful thing. He bends down grabbing the edge of the bed and flipping it over along with the guy and the mattress.
Holy fuck!
The sound makes a loud bang and my jaw drops when Ollie doesn't even waste a second before he grips the destroyed bed raising it up and grabbing the legs of the guy, dragging him out. He drops his body like it's a rag doll and he groans lying on his back, blood oozing from his nose and a huge cut on his forehead.
Ollie stares at him for a minute a frown on his face. "I guess I didn't flip that hard if you're still alive." He mutters to himself before shrugging a toothy grin on his face. "Oh well more fun I guess."
I step forward grabbing his hand before he can do more damage. He snaps his gaze to me, eyes narrowing at my hand as electric blue eyes glare at me. "Let go." He states calmly.
"No." I reply glaring right back at him.
He clenches his jaw a hint of malice in his eyes. "I'm not going to repeat myself Storm so let go."
I narrow my eyes at him before Artemis' voice floats in my head. More like something she said after she introduced me to the pack, she said it doesn't matter that I'm human but since I'm alpha they are bound to listen when I speak.
"Oliver Stand down." I retort calmly crossing my arms in front of me and I watch as he freezes clenching his jaw and fist tightly before lowering his head.
"Yes Alpha." He mutters through clenched teeth. I sigh running my fingers through my hair. I walk towards him bending down so I can get a good look at the dick who hurt Sunny.
"Jace?" I call out and he groans coughing out blood.
"Who the fuck are you people?" He wheezes out trying to get up, eyes staring coldly at us.
I smile at him. "You hurt my sister."
"Your sister? Dude what the fuck- let fucking go!!!!!" He screams out in pain when I twist his broken nose hearing it crack even more.
"Surely you have to remember your recent breakup." I reply letting go and he scoots back grabbing his nose as more blood comes out from it. I turn to see Ollie standing in the corner silently watching the scene unfold. His jaw tightening and eyes glowing even more.
Jace looks up staring at me for a minute and his eye widen. "Sunny." he whispers and I smile at him.
"Oh you do remember." I muse getting up. "I'm honestly surprised though Jace never thought you had it in you to actually put a finger on her."
He scoffs wiping the blood from his face. "She deserved it." Ollie growls in the back ground taking a step forward and I glare at him halting him in his steps.
Jace looks at him weirdly. "What's with your eyes dude?" He questions but Ollie remains quiet a cold look in his eyes. Jace rolls his eyes pushing his hair from his face.
I snap my fingers in front of him getting his attention. He looks up scowling at me. "You think you scare me, that bitch of a sister deserved it. We've been together for awhile and she refused to sleep with me."
"Even my grandma would refuse to sleep with you." Ollie mutters a blank look on his face and Jace scowls at him. I press my lips together raising my brow at him and he shrugs narrowing his eyes at me. "If I can't do anything, I might as well speak the truth about his abilities."
I roll my eyes facing Jace again. Fuck why am I even talking to him.
Fuck this.
I grip his hair tightly quickly slamming his head against the wall. He yelps sliding down against the wall but I grab his throat straightening his body before he can drop,  I clench my fist tightly sending a hook to right his jaw, smiling in satisfaction when I hear it crack. He yells in pain and I let go, shaking out my hand, my knuckles bruised and stained with a bit of blood and he drops to the ground, alternating between cupping his jaw and head and also his nose.
My feet connect with his balls and he screams out shifting his hand there and cupping it. It will definitely leave a mark since he's naked.
"We should castrate him." Ollie says tapping his index finger against his chin and tilt my head to the side actually considering that. Artemis would probably get mad if she finds out.
"Please stop." He pleads gasping out for breath from the amount of pain he's in, and I glare at him gripping his broken jaw, his lower lip trembling as he tries to pull away from me but I grip it harsly watching him whimper in pain.
"I don't think you'd stopped when my sister asked for it."
I exhale out a heavy breath, my body still shaking in anger and looking at his face is not really helping my anger. I release an annoyed sigh letting him go before standing to my feet. "Come on let's go."
Ollie nods, shoulders tensed up before he stops turning back to Jace. He brings his shoes on his fingers stepping hard on it.
"Ahhhh!!!!" Jace screams out, tears streaming from his eyes, clutching his hand to his chest.
"You'd probably take a year to heal but I guess it's a little price to pay." He murmurs staring at him for a minute before snapping his neck just like he did to the girl.
He smiles in satisfaction, freezing on the spot to see the unimpressed look on my face. "I had to do something." I raise my brow at him and he huffs dragging Jace by the leg out of the room, his head hitting against the stairs with every step we take.
He throws his body not so gently in the back of my car and we head to the hospital. Ollie grabs him again by the leg dragging him out of the car when we get to the hospital, his head hitting against the concrete floor.
"Sorry not sorry." He mutters dropping his body at the entrance of the hospital.
I give him a flat look and he huffs opening the door and kicking him into the hospital, his body slamming against the receptionist desk . He turns to face giving me a look that says 'happy now'.
I roll my eyes entering the car. He gets in smiling and whistling. "Sticks and Stones may break my bones." He sings out and I glance in his direction giving him a weird look.
It's almost 4 in the morning when I finally reach my apartment. I stay in my seat clenching the wheel tightly.
"You look tense." Ollie mutters after sometime and I groan sighing.
"Just thinking." I murmur pushing my hair from my face.
He throws his feet on my dashboard leaning back in his seat and I glare at them. "About what?"
Leaning my head against the window, a tired sigh escapes me. "Whether or not I should let Artemis mark me."
"Mmm."
I raise my brow, staring at the peaceful look on his face with his eyes closed. "You aren't going to say anything?"
He opens one eye looking at me. "You wanted me to say something?" he questions confusingly.
"Yes!" I retort.
He sighs putting his feet back down. "Honestly Storm there's nothing I can say to you. You should ask yourself whether you are prepared to fully commit yourself to her because after she marks you well there's no going back."
I frown staring at my hand deep in thought. Am I really ready to this, to lead a werewolf community, to finally be apart of this whole supernatural stuff?
"Anyway I have to go." Ollie says snapping me from my thoughts and I get out of the car. I nod my head before something hits me.
"How are you going to get back?"
"Shifting duh." He states in an obvious tone and I press my lips into a thin line.
"Isn't it dangerous to be doing it out in the open?" I question and he shrugs smirking at me.
"Maybe but who cares anyway." He says walking away from me but stops turning to face me again. "Text me Sunny's number!" He yells not waiting for a response before shifting into his wolf and disappearing into the night.
******
"Remember tomorrow is the deadline for the assignment."Â My professor speaks up, clearing up his table as we all pack our stuff to leave the class.
I mentally groan to myself knowing that I just have today to complete it, thanks to a group of people who decided to fuck it up for me. I stand up raising my brow at Jay slumped in his seat, sunglass on his face with lips parted slightly as he breaths through it.
Narrowing my eyes at him, I shake my head kicking his seat to wake up him. He jumps up with a start looking around the room for a minute brows drawn together before he turns to see me.
"Happy nap." I state flatly and he groans slumping back in his seat, rubbing his temples.
"My head is killing me, should have stayed back like Lyle did." He grumbles a tired sigh escaping him. I roll my eyes at him grabbing his arm to pull him up.
"Not my problem." I mutter leaving him to catch up with me. I grab my own sunglasses perching it on my face to hide the tired bags under my eye. I did not sleep at all, Sunny likes to hog the bed and on top of that she freaking snores too.
Though that might be a good reason that wasn't the only thing that kept me up. I thought about what Ollie said. I really like Artemis but am I willing to let everything go just to be with her?
I sigh walking across the lawn, people rushing past me to get to their class.
"You have any class?" Jay mutters from side and I shake my head at him. "Good for you." he mumbles under his breath running his fingers through his dark hair.
"You do?" I question glancing at him and he nods.
"Yeah but I'm ditching. I need to sleep of this hangover." I purse my lips at him, well he does look like he is having a hard time even walking considering he is using me as a support beam.
He grabs my shoulder stopping me and I raise my brow at him. "Why have we stopped?"
He shakes his head and points ahead. "Isn't that Artemis by your car?"
My heart skips a beat when I hear her name quickly snapping my gaze to where he's pointing, my breath hitching in my throat as I stare at the woman standing in front of my car dressed in light blue denim jeans and a grey crew neck. Her dark hair in lose curls around her, arms crossed in front of her as she runs her fingers through her hair, a small pout on her lips as she looks around.
God she's beautiful and it seems everyone knows that considering how much people keep on staring at her.
"You did good Storm." Jay mumbles patting my back.
I continue to stare at her, lips tilting up in a smile. "Yeah I did." He sighs pulling the sunglass down to rub his eye before pulling it back up again.
"Well I'm going to the library to sleep. See ya later." And walks away leaving me rooted to my spot. I continue to watch her making different expressions on her face when people walk past her whispering, no doubt hearing them.
My smile drops when I group of guys pass by stopping to whistle. She gives them a blank look raising her brow when one winks at her. They approach her, smirks on their faces and I frown at them.
Yeah not fucking happening.
I quickly make my way to her, watching her sniff the air before she looks up, her lips tilting up in a smile when she sees me approaching her.
I stop behind them glaring daggers at the blonde guy who has the audacity to lean on my car and fucking touch her hair.
"Hi beautiful." He smirks winking at her raising his hand to touch her chin but I push through the rest grabbing his wrist before it can even make contact with her face.
"Bye ugly." I grit out glaring at him and his eyes widen in shock taking a step back. I drop his wrist, pushing Artemis behind me a cold look on my face.
He huffs rubbing his wrist, looking up to glare at me when he notices the marks left on it. "What's your problem?!" He snaps clearly irritated and I press my lips together raising my brow at him.
He sighs looking behind me a smirk on his face and I snap my fingers in front of him taking his attention from her. He scowls at me. "Can't you see I'm trying to talk to her, who the fuck are you?"
"The boyfriend." I state bluntly hearing Artemis sigh and she grabs my hand intertwining our fingers together. I look down smiling at her and she smiles back giving my hand a squeeze.
Blonde guy scoffs and my smile drops annoyance on my face as I look at him. "She can do better." And takes out a paper from his bag scribbling something on it. "Here my number."
I grab it quickly stuffing it in my pocket a fake smile on my face. "I'll call and let you know when charity needs your help."
His friends snicker under their breath and Artemis giggles pressing her lips together to hide the smile. I pull my sunglass down winking at her and she rolls her eyes at me.
I suck in a breath through my teeth, flicking her forehead. "No rolling your eyes at me." And she scowls rubbing the place. I grin kissing her forehead and she smiles up at me.
"We're still here."
I ignore them opening the door for Artemis. She sends me a grateful nod and I shut it, turning to face them with a smile. "Hope you fall on your face." Without waiting for his response I walk to my side throwing my bag in the back seat before starting the car.
Artemis turns to watch them going and she tilts her head to the side smiling in satisfaction when the blonde guy trips face planting to the ground. I burst out laughing staring as he gets up, nose bleeding and wait what is that brown thing on his face?
Oh my is that poop?
His friends snicker at him and I laugh turning to face her, a smirk on my face. "You sly little wolf."
She shrugs eyes changing back to violet. "He deserved it."
I shake my head grinning at her and placing my hand on her thigh. She sucks in a breath staring at it and smiles placing hers on top of mine.
Glancing at her, it becomes clear on what I should do and I hope it's the best.
"Hungry?" I question amusingly when I hear her stomach growling and she blushes in embarrassment nodding her head. I grin changing directions to Betty's place.
Stepping inside, she picks the table where we sat together for the first time and I smile at memory. The place looks packed and Nadia walks to us, a smile on her face and I watch in amusement as it slowly drops with every step she takes once her eyes land on Artemis.
"Hey Storm." She says smiling at me.
I offer a tight lipped smile to her. "Hey Nadia how are you?"
She bats her lashes at me, throwing her hair behind her shoulder leaning forward slightly. "I'm great."
I glance at Artemis to see her lips pursed, irritation on her face. "Do you mind?" She says softly glaring at her.
Nadia snaps her gaze to her eyes narrowing into slits. "Who are you?"
"Your boobs are in my face so back off a bit." Artemis deadpans and I press my lips together hiding the smile on my face. Nadia scowls standing up straight.
"Can you get us the usual?" I murmur intervening before anything happens and she looks at me nodding before glaring at Artemis and walking away.
I sigh pushing my hair from my face and a throat clears. I look at Artemis blinking at the blank look on her face.
"Who is she?"
I frown jerking my thumb in the direction of where Nadia went. "Her?"
She glances at me sideways a flat look on her face as she responds."No the table that grew legs and walked away." She mutters sarcastically and I purse my lips narrowing my eyes at her.
"That's Nadia."
"Was she your girlfriend?" She asks still giving me a blank look and my lips tilt up in a slow smirk.
I shift to face her, twirling her hair around my finger. "Maybe."
She bits her lips looking down for a minute before looking up. "Did you sleep with her?"
I look at her innocently shrugging. "Who knows." Oh my gosh this is fun, payback is definitely a bitch. She freezes staring wide eyed at me and I smile leaning back in my seat.
Our food comes and I take a bite groaning in satisfaction, glancing in Artemis direction to see her staring at her food blankly.
"You seem out if it. Are you okay?" I ask innocently sipping the coke and she looks at me green eyes narrowing into slits.
"You son of a goat!" She snaps hitting my arm and I burst out laughing catching her wrist and pulling her close to me so our nose brushes.
"Not so fun is it?" I murmur glancing at her lips before looking into her eyes a playful smirk on my face. She huffs pulling away from me, stuffing her mouth with the fries and grumbling under her breath as she takes my drink sipping it.
I smile watching her pout and I cup her face squishing her cheeks together placing a quick peck to her pouted lips. She pulls back staring at me in shock, blush coating her cheeks.
"You're adorable when you get jealous." I murmur winking at her and she hiccups staring at me. I raise my brow at that, a grin on my face before pulling her into my arms.
The sun is almost setting when we get back to the apartment. We find Lyle slumped against the couch snoring, I shake my head at him pulling Artemis to my room.
I sigh in relief when I find it empty, dropping my bag to the floor and finding a note on my desk.
Hey little brother,
Thanks for letting me crash here. I'm going back home so I'll see ya during Christmas break.
Love you.
P. S. Give my number to your hot friend
p.p.s. I love the shampoo you're using very feminine of you.
I groan under my breath placing the note down, of course she used Artemis' shampoo.
"Your sister was here?" Artemis questions reading the note and I nod my head. Does she know she's Ollie's mate?
She sighs putting it down. "It would have been nice to meet her." She murmurs making herself comfortable on my bed.
I snort. "She'd talk your ear off."
Artemis chuckles patting the spot beside her and I lay down staring up at the ceiling. "I guess she and Ollie will be the perfect mates."
I tense up slowly turning my head to face her jaw dropped. "How.." I trail off and she opens her eyes amusement swirling within them.
"I smelt the same scent on Ollie yesterday, that and he seemed to be quite in a happy mood and kept on singing Electric love, so I figured he must have gotten laid or he found his mate but since I didn't smell any sex on him it was the latter."
"Unbelievable." I mutter staring at her in disbelief and she smiles shaking her head.
"I'm a werewolf, a mated one to be exact so I know when other people find their mates." She mumbles playing with my hair covering my forehead. "You need a hair cut."
I turn on my side pulling her into my arms and tangling our legs together. "Do I?" I whisper stroking her hair.
"Mmm." She hums looking into my eyes. "I miss you."
Biting my lip, I kiss her forehead. "I miss you more."
She breaths out a sigh of relief burying her face in my chest and wrapping her arms tightly around my torso.
Artemis woke up later to join Lyle and Jay in the living room and I stayed back finishing all my procrastinated assignments.  It was a bit late when Artemis came back to the room, a sleepy smile on her face as she stared at me.
"Would you like something to sleep in?" I ask staring at her and she nods her head.
"Yes please."
Getting up, I open my dresser grabbing a shirt and handing it to her. I show her where the bathroom is and she smiles standing on her tip toe to kiss my cheek before shutting the door behind.
I sigh running my fingers through my hair and taking of my clothes leaving me in just my underwear, getting under the covers and waiting for her to come.
She steps out rubbing her eye and yawning and I stare at her in awe. My shirt is practically a dress for her and she crawls into the bed resting her head on my chest.
"Good night Storm." She murmurs placing a kiss on my chest and I shiver in delight wrapping my arms around her.
"Mark me Artemis." I whisper and for a second I thought she was asleep until she sits up abruptly staring at me in shock.
"What did you just say?" She whispers lips parted as she breaths harshly.
I sit up cupping her cheeks my grey eyes looking in a pair of glowing violet eyes. "Mark me."
