Storm's Pov
The silence in the room is deafening and worry soon overtakes me when Artemis pulls away from me standing all the way to my door.
Okay I wasn't expecting this.
She chews on her lower lip, eyes looking everywhere but my face. "I don't think it's a good idea."
What?
I wet my lips brows pulled together, disbelief clear on my face. "Excuse me?"
She sighs pushing her hair from her face and looks up at me uncertainly. "You aren't-
I raise my hand cutting her off and she shuts up pursing her lips at me. I expected this to go much differently than what is happening right now.
"I thought this is what you wanted?" I respond my forehead scrunching up in confusion.
She huffs placing her hands on her hips, lips pressed into a thin line. "Of course I do!" She exclaims loudly. "But I don't want you to regret your decision."
I sigh, palm upward, crooking my index finger in a come here gesture beckoning her to me. She hesitates for a minute before sighing walking slowly towards the bed. I grasp her wrist pulling her down and she let's out a startled yelp straddling me and placing her palm on my shoulder to steady herself.
I scoot back, leaning against the headboard, one arm wrapped tightly around her waist and the other cups her cheek bringing her face closer to mine. "I thought about this."
She opens her mouth to speak but I interrupt her. "Let me finish." I murmur and she nods in the 'go on' gesture. I gulp taking deep breaths. "I thought about everything that happened and to be honest I wasn't really on board with the idea of you having to mark me but then it just hit me, I really want to be with you Artemis."
Placing a feather like kiss on her nose and it twitches a bit causing me to grin. "I like you a lot with or without your mark and I want to be with you. I had time to think about if I'm ready to lead a pack but then I realized I have you by my side so it will be fine. So please mark me so I can finally bind myself to you because there is no way I'm ever letting you go." I whisper.
She sucks in a breath, eye wide and she rests her forehead against mine, a large smile adorning her face. "I like you too." and pulls back placing a kiss on my jaw.
I suck in a breath, tightening my grip on her waist. She pulls back looking into my eyes, a little frown on her face. "Are you sure about this?"
Nodding my head firmly and she sighs searching my eyes one last time. "It's going to hurt a bit but it will be better after." She murmurs leaning forward and tilting my head to the side. I take in shaky breaths when her lips slowly brush against the skin of my neck, placing tiny kisses on it, she laps her tongue underneath my jawline and I shiver squeezing her waist tightly.
"Found it." She whispers against the skin and pulls back, tugging on the ends of my hair, eyes shifting between violet and red as she let's out a shaky breath. "Ready Storm?"
"Do it." She purses her lips at me nodding, her eyes finally resting on vibrant violet, as she opens her mouth, elongated canines flashing in the light and she brings her head back to my neck heading straight for the spot she found.
She hesitates and I open my mouth ready to tell her it's okay and that's when I feel it, her teeth sinking into my neck. I clench the sheets tightly in my fist, my jaw tightening as my face scrunches up in pain.
Hurt a bit my ass, this is worse than having a broken leg.
She grips my shoulders steadying me from thrashing in her hold, my arm around her waist tightens even more. It sure as hell going to leave a mark on her skin.
Beads of sweat gather at my forehead and I bite my lips drawing out blood from it to keep myself for screaming in pain. I don't know how long it lasted but she takes her teeth out, lapping her tongue against my sore neck and I sigh in relief, my body going slack in her hold.
She pulls back staring at me with worried eyes, raising her hand to push my hair from my forehead, wiping the sweat on it. "I'm so sorry Storm."
I take in shaky breaths, to be honest I feel like a noodle right now my whole body feels sore and tired. "It's okay. " I murmur drifting in and out of consciousness, her face a little blurry but I can still see the concern in her eyes.
She helps me lay down, placing my head on her chest or should I say boobs. They are kinda of soft.
Focus Storm.
She runs her fingers through my hair gently, humming the same tune she did back when we were in her office. "Sleep." She whispers into the silence and I find myself drifting away, allowing the darkness to take over with the sound of Artemis voice floating in my head and let's not forget throbbing as fuck pain on my neck.
"Wakey, Wakey." A soft voice whispers in my ear, fingers tracing every inch on my face and I smile pulling her closer to me. She giggles wrapping her arms around my torso and I open my eyes slowly blinking a bit to get used to the light streaming into my room before looking down at Artemis.
I grin, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Hi."
She smiles, violet eyes shining in the light. "Hi." and proceeds to lean forward placing a gentle kiss on my jaw. I suck in a breath from the amount of tingles passing through my body, fuck it wasn't like this at first.
I groan lifting my self up rubbing my neck only to freeze when the events of what happened last night rushes through my mind.
Artemis marked me.
My eyes widen and I quickly run to the bathroom, tilting my neck to the side to get a look at it and my breath hitches in my throat as I stare at the mark or more like the tattoo on my neck. I move closer to get a better view and my jaw drops staring at it, it's a picture of a black wolf with red eyes, a little crown sitting on it's head surrounded by little dots that I think look like stars.
"Beautiful isn't it?" A voice mutters beside me and I look sideways, her gaze focused on the mark on my skin, a proud glint in her eyes.
"It left a tattoo." I whisper still in shock about the whole thing and she raises her head to stare at me through the mirror, a cautious look on her face.
"Yes but are you okay? Do you feel different in anyway? Does it hurt?"
I frown raising my hand to prob my neck waiting for any kind of pain to hit me but nothing. I twist it from side to side but it feels fine, nothing hurts. I shake my head turning to face Artemis. "Nothing hurts and to be honest I don't feel different."
She sighs in relief, pushing her hair from her face. "That's good."
I raise my brow, crossing my arms over my chest. "Am I meant to feel different?"
"What?"
I narrow my eyes at her, uncrossing my arms and pointing to myself. "You asked if I feel any different and I want to know if I'm supposed to."
Pressing her lips together, she rubs her palm on her arm looking everywhere but my face. "I'm not sure."
Watching her with a frown, why do I get the feeling that she's hiding something from me. Deciding to drop it I smile at her, grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the room straight to the kitchen. Lifting her up on the counter, I stand between her legs and she wraps them around my waist, pulling me closer to her.
I bury my face in her neck, breathing in her scent and she wraps her arms around my neck tugging on my hair, her body shivering slightly against my frame.
"What do you want for breakfast?"
I make an 'mmm' sound, pulling flush against me, face still buried in her neck, brushing my lips across her skin bringing my tongue out to taste her skin. "You." I respond and her grip tightens as she sucks in her breath.
"We eat on that." Lyle's voice deadpans from behind us and I clench my fist, closing my eyes tightly in irritation before raising my head to glare at the smug grin on his face.
"Get out." I snap pointing to the door and he shrugs making himself comfortable on the kitchen stool. Artemis let's out a giggle and I frown pinching her waist. She scowls at me, rubbing the spot and I smile winking at her.
Jay walks in shirtless, rubbing his eyes sleepily and I glare at him raising my hand to cover Artemis eyes. "Where's your shirt?"
He freezes looking around in confusion before his gaze rests on me, squinting his eye a bit and shrugs walking to the cupboard to take a bowl out. "Probably somewhere in my room."
"Go put it on."
He looks up raising his brow at me, a flat look on his face. "No." and proceeds to pour the cereals he took. Lyle chuckles running his fingers through his hair as he stares at the annoyed look on my face with amusement.
"She's probably seen other shirtless guys anyway."
"Yeah I have." Artemis mumbles and I pull my hand away glaring at her. She rolls her eyes  patting my cheeks lifting her hands up. "Put me down."
I purse my lips at her, putting my hand underneath her armpits, lifting her up from the counter and she lets out a tiny giggles. I raise my brow in question at her and she shakes her head at me.
"It tickled."
I chuckle quietly snatching the cereal from Lyle before he can do anything and he glares at me. "Asshole."
I smirk taking a bowl out and pouring the rest for Artemis who smiles gratefully. I open the fridge taking the bottled water out, uncapping it and bringing it to my lips.
"What's that on your neck?" Jay asks suddenly and I freeze, eyes widening when he gets up to get a closer look at it. My eyes shift to Artemis who looks just as panicked as I am and Lyle staring at it with a frown on his face.
Think about something Storm, use your fucking head.
Clearing my throat I slowly lower the bottle taking steps away from Jay before he can look at it or worse touch it. "It's a tattoo."
He halts in his steps, forehead scrunching up. "Tattoo?"
I nod my head. "Yes tattoo."
"Since when?" Lyle questions.
"About a week ago." I respond.
He crosses his arms in front a him, eyes narrowing suspiciously at me. "How come we're now seeing it?"
"Because you're dumb." I deadpan and Jay smacks the back of my head an annoyed look on his face. I smirk at him before facing Lyle. "If you didn't notice I wore a lot of shirts with collars and I wanted to surprise you."
Artemis coughs suddenly and we all turn to watch her. Her eyes go wide and she smiles sheepishly at us, raising her right hand up. "Sorry but there was something stuck in my throat."
I narrow my eyes into slit at the amusement shinning within those green eyes of hers and she presses her lips together hiding the smile.
"It's kinda of sick though." Jay murmurs, his breath fanning against the skin on my neck and I pull back scowling at him.
"Six fucking feet." I snap and he raises his hand up in surrender taking his seat. I sigh in relief pushing my hair from my face, that was so close.
I have to say though that was a smart idea. How was I going to explain that Artemis basically imprinted a tattoo on my neck with her teeth.
Raising the bottle to my lips, I turn my head sideways to see Lyle still staring at me his lips tugged downward and eyes narrowed.
I raise my brow at him and he press his lips into a thin line shaking his head before looking away.
Narrowing my eyes at him when he dismisses me walking out of the kitchen. I have got be careful with Lyle. Shaking that thought of I look at the time, spitting the water out of my mouth when I realise I'm late. "Fuck me."
Artemis looks up, a worried look on her face. "Why, what's wrong?"
"I'm late." I rush out heading straight for my bedroom quickly packing my stuff into my bag, rushing to the bathroom to put on deodorant before coming back and taking out fresh clothes. My door opens and Artemis peeks her head inside observing me for a minute before walking in.
I sling my bag over my shoulder, placing a quick kiss on her cheeks. "I'll see you later."
She opens her mouth to speak up but I walk past her, grabbing my keys on my way and opening my door. I stand in front of the elevator, tapping my feet impatiently, reaching out to my pocket to take my phone.
Fuck this, I'm using the stairs.
Taking the stairs two at a time, I reach the parking lot unlocking my car and throwing my bag to the backseat. Running my fingers through my hair, I take deep breaths calming myself before I start the car.
"You forgot your shoes and assignment."
"Fucking shit!" A terrified yelp escapes me, my hand raised up as my back leans against the door, my heart beating hard against my chest as I stare at Artemis in shock.
When did she get in?
Her eyes shine with amusement, raising her brow at me and I gulp slowly lowering my hand and placing it on my chest, a shaky breath escaping me as I close my eyes, breathing hard through my nose before opening them and glaring at her. "Don't do that!"
She chuckles, dropping my shoes on my lap and placing a bunch of papers at the backseat. She smiles tying her hair in a ponytail before glancing at me. "Sorry but I tried calling you."
I sigh, wetting my lips. "How did you get in the car?"
"When you unlocked it, I sat in. You were too distracted to notice that was I following you." She explains and I push my hair from my face furrowing my brows before nodding.
I look at the shoes on my lap, mentally groaning before I put them on backing out of the parking lot.
Halfway to the campus, something hits me and I turn raising my brow at Artemis. "Are those my clothes?"
She looks down at the black sweatpants and hoodie basically swallowing her entire body and she turns smiling sheepishly at me. "I didn't bring my clothes."
I chuckle parking the car and turning in my seat to face her. "You can have it."
She nods smiling at me and I sigh bringing her face closer to mine and resting my forehead against hers. I bite on my lower lip, a million thoughts rushing through my mind about what happened yesterday. "I have a lot of questions to ask Artemis."
"I know." She whispers softly playing with the ends of my hair. I pull back staring into her eyes with a frown on my face.
"You promise to answer them?"
She hesitates for a brief second before responding. "I promise."
I smile. "Good." I get out of the car walking to Artemis side and opening the door for her. She smiles at me and I lean down pulling her into a tight hug before letting go.
Taking her hand, I place my car keys into her palm along with my credit card and she furrows her brow raising her head to look at me, face scrunching up in confusion. "What should I do with them?"
I shrug placing my hand in my pocket, rocking on the soles of my feet. "Whatever you want to do. Come pick me up when it's three okay and buy clothes for yourself."
She presses her lips together opening her mouth to protest and I place my finger on her lip silencing her. "Make sure to do it okay ."
She frowns crossing her arms in front of her and shaking her head at me.
I narrow my eyes at her, bring my thumb underneath her lower lip and my index finger on her upper lipping pulling it to form a duck mouth and her eyes widen as she stares at me. "That's an order Artemis."
She freezes, eyes going even wider and she quickly nods her head. I smile letting go, turning on my heels and walking away from her but then something strange happens.
Usually I hear Artemis voice in my head like the last time she called me George of the jungle but this time I don't know how but when I turn to wave her, I see her lips move as if mumbling something and from where I'm standing it should be impossible to hear it but I do.
"Who is he to give me orders. I'm the Alpha not him." And she sighs raising her hand to wave me back a solemn look on her face. "I miss him already."
She walks to the driver's side, unlocking the door and backing out of the school.
I stare at the spot, heart pounding in my chest. What just happened?
Safe to say I was late for class but I honestly don't care much about it than what happened this morning. It could be my mind playing tricks on me but I swear I could hear Artemis and no not in my head but I could actually hear her speak as if I was standing right beside her.
"Mr.Wyatt."
It shouldn't be possible right? I mean she didn't scream those words out, she mumbled them so I'm not meant to hear it.
"Mr. Wyatt." Fuck this is so frustrating, I don't even know what- could it be? I slowly raise my hand to the mark on my neck, fingers brushing across it lightly and my body shivers. Is this what Artemis meant by different?
A hand slams on my table startling me and I look up, eyes widening to see an unimpressive look on my professor's face. She raises her brow at me, pressing her lips together. "Is my lecture boring?"
Yes. "No ma'am." I mutter.
"If you think it's boring you're welcomed to leave." She says crossing her arms in front of her.
Gladly. I shake my head smiling sheepishly at her and she rolls her eyes at me pointing to the board. "Then focus."
I nod my head at her and she sighs looking at me one last time before continuing whatever she's talking about. I sigh in relief slumping against my seat, I need to be sure of what happened this morning.
Class ended quickly than expected with an hour to spare before Artemis can pick me up. Sitting on the grass in front of the library, I lay on my back closing my eyes and taking deep breaths.
Okay Storm, let's see if you can hear anything. I focus on my surroundings trying to see if I can hear anything but nothing except for the wind blowing against my face and the annoying couple on my left who keep making out. I'm not against PDA but fuck they are making me wish I could bury myself right now.
Can't they hump somewhere else.
I scowl, irritation slowly creeping in. I can't even hear anything if I wanted to so might as well take a nap.
"Gosh where is he?"
I frown when I hear Artemis voice, slowly opening my eyes I check my phone to see it's almost three-thirty. Sitting up quickly, I look around to find the place almost empty except for a figure looking around. My breath hitches in my throat when I see her lips moving again.
"You're so dumb Artemis, you're a werewolf just sniff him out."
How? My jaw drops, my whole entire body freezing when I hear her voice again. She sniffs the air, eyes snapping to my own quickly before a full blown smiles spreads across her face as she rushes to me.
She stops right in front of me smiling. "Hi."
I stare at her before responding. "Hi."
Should I tell her what is happening to me? I mean she promised answers so maybe she can explain. I grasp her wrist pulling her down to me and she stumbles a bit, forehead hitting my chest and I wrap my arms around her waist to balance her.
She suddenly looks up but frowns cupping my cheeks, her eyes searching my own. "What's wrong Storm?"
I purse my lips, brows drawn together as I try to think of ways to tell her what is happening to me.
"I can hear you when you speak." I blurt out and she scrunches up her face.
"Huh?"
I groan running my fingers through my hair. How do I even say this? I look up to see her watching me cautiously, a frown on her face.
"This morning when I waved you, I heard you speak." I mutter and the frown on her face deepens as she stares at me.
"What did I say?"
I scratch my forehead, thinking hard to what she said. "Oh----oh you said that 'who am I to order you and that you're the Alpha also that you miss me already."
She looks up, eyes widening before she lowers them chewing hard on her bottom lip.
I frown. "What is happening?"
She looks at me for a minute before nodding to herself and gets up dusting her jeans. "Come on."
I nod getting up, picking my bag from the grass and grasping her hand in mine as she pulls me towards the car. She starts the car and I lean my head against the seat glancing at her.
She stares straight ahead, a blank look on her face but looks sideways when she notices me watching her offering me a small smile in return. "I got us takeouts just in case you hadn't eaten."
I look back to see the food there and I smile in appreciation. She passes by my apartment and I furrow my brows at her. "Uh Artemis I think you missed the apartment block."
She taps her finger against the wheel. "Mmm, I know. We need to talk and I don't think your apartment is the best place."
"So where are we going?" I question and she shrugs turning to smile at me.
"A place I found today." She replies vaguely.
She finally stops the car, grabbing the food and getting out. I follow suit and she stands beside taking a hold of my hand and pulling me towards the cliff. I raise my brow at her when she sits at the edge patting the space beside her.
"You've been busy." I murmur overlooking the view of the whole city, the sunset creating this soft touch on it. She shrugs handing me one of the takeouts. It's silent between us except for the sound of us munching on the food as we both look ahead of us.
I stare at Artemis, a content look on her face as she breaths in the air deeply before smiling to herself. The wind rustles her hair and she huffs blowing it away from her face, narrowing her eyes when some of it gets into her mouth.
I chuckle to myself shifting closer to her and grabbing her wrist removing the hair tie. She watches my movement with keen eyes and I smile at her, moving to sit behind her, my legs placed on both sides of her thigh and I gently comb my fingers through her hair gathering them into my fist, making sure it's secure before I use the tie around it, placing her hair in a low ponytail.
She looks over her shoulder sending me a grateful smile and I grin resting my chin on her shoulder, wrapping my arms around her stomach pushing her flush against my chest. She sighs leaning her body towards me and placing her arms over my hand.
"This is nice." I murmur and she hums in response. The sun finally sets, the city coming alive with flickering lights as the stars shine brightly in the dark sky. Artemis sighs shifting in my hold to face me and I raise my head staring into her violet eyes.
She plays with her finger, brows drawn together and bites her lip finally looking at me. "I think that maybe marking you might have given you some kind of abilities."
I raise my brow at her, unwrapping my arms from around her and leaning back with my palm placed flatly on the ground. "Abilities? Like werewolf abilities?"
She nods her head gauging my expression with a cautious look and I blink staring at ahead of me.
"Will I become like you? You know like a werewolf?" I question and she shrugs.
"I'm not sure. You aren't blessed with that and I doubt it's in your family so it's likely you won't become one."
I nod my head still staring straight ahead, a blank look on my face but on the inside I'm freaking out.
Artemis cups my cheeks turning my head to face her, eyes softening as she stares at me. "I can feel your emotions Storm so no need to act like it isn't bothering you."
How could I forget about that?
"Did you know this was going to happen?"
She purses her lips, eyes searching my own before nodding. "Maybe but when you said you didn't feel different I thought maybe it will be okay, nothing was gonna happen."
I sigh, closing my eyes, my jaw tightening. "Is this the only thing that's going to happen to me?"
"I'm not sure but we'll see what happens along the way." She murmurs softly.
I'm so confused and lost right now. Aside from having this on my neck, I'm basically getting abilities that aren't known to human. I frown, opening my eyes to watch Artemis when I remember something. "I tried listening to other people but it didn't work. I only heard you speak, why is that?"
She chuckles. "You aren't trained and the fact that you heard me is because I'm your mate. We already have our connection formed so it's like a free pass."
I nod taking everything in, it makes sense though. She rises to her feet glancing down at me, yawning. "We should head back, it's getting late." I nod also standing to my feet, stretching my palm towards her.
"What?"
"Keys, I'm driving." I reply and she nods pulling it out from the front pocket of the the hoodie and placing it in my hand.
She falls asleep on the ride back and I glance in her direction, a small smile on my face as I stare at the pout on her lips.
*******
Artemis spent a week here before she had to leave when Selena called her saying it was urgent. Throughout her time here, she helped me with the hearing stuff and safe to say I'm actually good at it now. She explained that I needed to be in tune with my surroundings and even without having to read the lips of the person I can just focus on the sound of their voice.
Lyle and Jay have been on the receiving end of it especially Lyle when he talks smack behind my back. It's fun when he glares at me anytime I hear and hit him for those comments. Although sometimes the questioning look in his eyes unnerves me, I ignore them passing it of as nothing.
There's no way he's gonna figure it out because he wouldn't even dream of such a thing.
Currently we're all gathered at the living room watching a show Jay has been obsessed with. What's it called again? The bitches? Brigdes? Oh the bachelors right, I honestly don't get it but it's interesting though.
"We need groceries." Lyle states shoving a pizza in his mouth, eyes staring at the tv with concentration.
I narrow my eyes at him, crossing my arms in front of my chest. "Who's turn is it?"
"Your turn." Jay speaks up from the ground and I scoff pointing to myself.
"How is it my turn?"
He shrugs, turning to face me cheeks puffed up with the pizza he's eating as his voice comes out muffled. "Don't know man but it your turn."
I groan running my fingers through my hair before getting up, grabbing my keys.
"Where are you going?" Lyle questions looking away from the TV.
"The supermarket." I murmur tying the lace my shoes.
"To do what?"
I stare flatly at him. "To sell my kidneys."
He narrows his eyes at me, lips formed into a thin line. "That was dumb."
"Your question was dumb but you don't see me complaining." I retort and he scowls flipping me off.
"Can you bicker later, it's getting to the good part." Jay grumbles staring intensely at the show and I roll my eyes at him leaving the apartment.
Fifteen minutes later, I'm done with the shopping walking back to my apartment. Who does grocery shopping in the middle of the night?
Oh I know, this guy does. Honestly I wouldn't have done it but I know the other two wouldn't have also done it so I guess it's a sacrifice I'm willing to take.
The streets are quiet and I see my building coming to view. I wonder what Artemis is doing right now, maybe I should call her. I pat my pocket, groaning to myself when I realize I left my phone.
Snap.
I raise my head up immediately looking around me but find nothing out of the ordinary. I purse my lips, shoulders tensed up before walking again.
Snap.
I stop in my tracks, eyes narrowing into slits, my jaw tightening. "Whose there?" No one responds and I glare into the darkness, running my fingers through my hair.
Okay Storm, why don't you use your ears and listen. So that's what I do, I close my eyes listening to any sound and that's when I hear it, the fast footsteps approaching.
My eyes widen and I turn around immediately to see four guys approaching me. They stop in front of me, eyes glaring and I raise my hand in surrender.
"If you're thinking about robbing me, it's not gonna work because I'm broke." I murmur and they step out of the shadows, street light illuminating their features and my breath gets stuck in my throat as black eyes narrow into slits.
Oh fuck me. Werewolves? Really?
I groan throwing my hands up in the hair, the bags on my hand making noise with my actions. "You have got to be kidding me! The day I don't take my car, this is what happens!"
The middle guy who honestly looks to be the biggest among them snarls at me. "You need to come with us." He speaks out gruffly.
I scoff. "Yeah sure, how about in the month of never happening." I snap and his lips form a scowl, jaw tightening.
"Get him."
Oh shit. My eyes widen when the other three run towards me. I quickly move out of the way, landing a punch to one of them their ribs and he stumbles turning around to face me with a scowl, black eyes glaring at me.
An arm wraps around my neck putting me in a headlock and I struggle against him before raising my leg stepping hard on his feet and bringing my elbow behind me hitting his stomach.
He sucks in a breath, letting out an 'oof' sound before quickly letting go and I swing my arm using the grocery bag to hit him in the face. I breath heavily, pushing my hair from my face and looking inside the bags.
Fuck, now all the eggs are broken. I raise my head just in time to avoid getting a dislocated jaw, stretching  my leg in front of me, he stumbles over hit smacking his face hard against the ground.
I exhale a heavy breath smiling in satisfaction but the smile slowly drops from my face when I hear bones snapping.
Please don't tell me they are shifting.
I get my answer when one of them growls, canines flashing dangerously in the light.
Fuck I'm out. Quickly turning on my heels and making a run for the apartment. There is no fucking way they are going to follow me inside looking like that. Sighing in relief when I see the entrance of the building but my relief is short lived when I hear the snarls and growls behind me.
They freaking followed me!
I look around to see the lobby empty, well at least no one is here. Panting, I make a quick decision of whether to take the stairs or the elevator.
Stairs or elevator? Which one is fast?
My eyes widen when the growls gets closer and I click on the button of the elevator, watching as it opens before taking the stairs.
This is honestly a bad idea. I should have taken the elevator.
My breath hitches in my throat when, I see them using the stairs. Scuffling against each other to get to me, their jaws snapping and I let out a yelp quickly kicking the trashcan to slow them down.
Storm they are werewolves so they can smell you.
I smack my forehead running as fast as I can when I get to my hallway. How could I have forgotten this, and fuck I'm leading them to my apartment.
I rush inside the room quickly slamming the door and locking the hatch, my breath coming out heavy and short. I tug on the ends of my hair in frustration, turning to look at Lyle and Jay who are staring at me with raised eyes brows.
"What's up with you? Why do you look like you run a marathon?" Jay questions biting the pizza.
I open my mouth to speak and that's when we hear it, the growls behind the door, the paws scratching against it as they howl. Jay quickly rises to his feet dropping the pizza to the ground, panic in his eyes as I slowly back away from the door.
"What is that?" He whispers and I quickly bring my hand to my neck rubbing the mark Artemis left. This is a freaking SOS Artemis so please I hope you come right away.
I stand in front of Lyle and Jay stretching my arms in front of them as I slowly back away from the living room, forcing them to take a step back.
"What's happening Storm?" Lyle whispers eyes staring at the door in terror and I gulp looking over my shoulder to see a terrified look on his face.
"We're fucked."
A/N; They are honestly fucked. Anywho I hope you enjoy this chapter
