Storm's Pov

I sit up abruptly when I feel something crawl on my leg. Please don't be a spider, please don't be a spider, I chant in my head slowly taking the covers of me. I sigh in relief when I see it's only a leg.

"Whew, that was clo- wait a minute?" I check again and it's indeed a leg. How? I turn my head and nearly scream when I see Lyle's face. What the heck? I thought I put him in his bed. I'm about to to push him off when the worst headaches slaps me in the face. I nearly forgot about the effects of getting drunk, I groan and drop back on the bed wincing a bit when I drop too hard.

"Stop moaning baby, you're making hard." Lyle murmurs and cuddles my frame. I freeze when he trails his hand on my chest. I raise my hand to smack him when the door opens and Jay walks in. He freezes on the spot, eyes wide and stares at the the scene in front of him.

"It's not what it looks like." I tell him but he ignores and just takes his phone out. He better not be

Of course he did. I glare at him rubbing my temples to relief the pounding in my head. I have to finish my assignment if I want to submit it on time and this headache needs to go pronto.

"You know I never thought you swing that way." Jay grins at me when he sees the glare on my face. Meet my roommate Jay. He is honestly too cocky for his own good and apparently he calls himself a bad boy because according to him girls dig that kinda of things. He does pass as a bad boy to  others with his messy light black hair and brown eyes, tattoos with all the piercing on his ear and lower lip plus the whole outfit and the 'i don't give a fuck' attitude but I know who he really is. If half the girls he hooked up with knew that he secretly watches Spongebob and has a crush on the chick that acted tangled and don't forget his obsession with Ariana Grande they wouldn't even give him a glance.

"Don't you have somewhere to be." I mutter and try to push Lyle but he just comes closer. Damn it, this is why I never have sleepovers with him. He literally plasters himself to you. Someone should save me.

"I'm enjoying what is going on here." He says  wiggling his eyebrow suggestively. I narrow my eyes at how stupid he looks doing that but the pounding in my head just makes if difficult to actually say it.

"Make yourself useful and get this log of me." I snap and he chuckles before walking towards my bed. He stands at the foot of the bed and grabs Lyle's leg, dragging him from the bed and onto the floor. His body meets the ground with a loud thump and he stands abruptly into a fighting position. I roll my eyes and get up from the bed leaving Jay to explain whatever happened to him. I switch the light in my bathroom  covering my eyes when I'm temporarily blinded by the brightness. Blinking rapidly, I shake my head and open the cabinet to take Advil.

Now to think about how to finish the work. I stare in the mirror and grey eyes stare back at me. My heart beats a bit faster and I thump my chest lightly to reduce whatever it is that is going on with me. This has been going on for sometime now but as usual I ignore it. I leave the bathroom and take notice of how messy my room is. I chuckle when I picture the look on my mom's face if she sees this mess but well guess what, she's not here to pull my ears. I pick random clothes from wardrobe which consist of a grey sweater and black jeans. I leave the room to the kitchen where I hear Lyle talking loudly. How is he not hangover because I know he drunk more than me.

I smack the back of his head when I get closer and he glares at me before rubbing it softly.

"Don't hit me jerk, my head is killing me." He grumbles out, when he says that I give him a look of pure disbelief.

"You expect me to believe your hangover?" I point out and he just nods at me before shoving a mouth full of coco puffs in his mouth. Animal, that's what he is. I blank out from their conversation and think about what the she devil said yesterday. How does she even think that justifies what she did and the girl has the audacity to blame me for her cheating. I mentally scoff, she needs to have her brain checked.

"Are you in?" I tune back into the conversation and hear Lyle snicker at the confused look on my face.

"Am I what?" I reply sheepishly. Jay rolls his eyes at me when he realizes I did not hear anything he said.

"I said that a couple of the guys and maybe girls decided to have a camping trip and I wanted to know if you want to come?" He repeats and I rub my chin. I look at Lyle and just by the hopeful look in his eyes he wants to go.

I sigh and nod my head. Lyle jumps out of his seat with an excited grin before squeezing me hard. The air gets knocked out of me and I pat his back awkwardly. God he is such a touchy, touchy person.

"Thank you best friend!!!!! We are gonna have so much fun!" He screams in my ears and I push him away. I rub my ears and glare at him but he ignores the look and goes to his room banging the door loudly might I add.

"What time and place are we meeting?" I ask Jay and he picks up his phone when he gets a text. From the smirk that graces his face, I can tell what the text is about. He looks up to see an unimpressed look on my face and shrugs.

"Well according to Cole, he said we should all meet at the entrance of the school and that he asked his uncle to lend him his Van so he can take all of us and time I think is around 3pm. It's an hour and half drive from the campus to where we are camping at." He says absentmindedly as he reply's to the text on his phone.

"That's cool but wait how many are we and why can't I drive there myself?" I raise my brow and he sighs before pocketing his phone and grabbing his keys.

"Counting you and Lyle we are seven and as to why, don't you want a free ride?" He questions and I consider what he says and nod. I'm low on cash and I know getting gas is gonna be a pain in my butt. "Well I got to bounce, see ya later." He winks at me and walks out of the apartment. Just then Lyle walks out of his room and I'm guessing he took a shower because he doesn't smell like ass.

"I'm late to class, I'll see ya around 1 and oh please pack my bags for the camp. Thanks man later." He rushes out before a word can escape me. I'm not his maid and how the heck I'm I supposed to 'pack for him' even I don't know what to pack but that will come later. Lucky for me I don't have any class today so I can finish the work and sleep. I go to the kitchen and make a huge breakfast plus coffee because I know I'll be needing it for what I'm about to do.

"Honey I'm home!!" Lyle's voice echoes in the apartment and I roll my eyes at his dramatic entrance. I don't know whether the theatre class he is taking is affecting most of his brain cells but then yet again he has always being the dramatic one between us. I don't move from my position on the floor and he comes to meet me just like that.

"Have you packed for the trip?" He questions. Choosing to ignore him but rather focusing on the endless silent conversation with my ceiling. I'm sure it will click somewhere in his brain that I am not the person for this job and I guess I didn't have to wait long. "You seriously did not pack or try to do it." He exclaims at with an incredulous look and guess what he is met with; that's right my silence. I hear him mutter something like, 'you've got to be kidding me, now I got to pack for two people' and walks to his room.

Two hours later, everything is set and ready to go. We wait for Cole at the entrance like Jay said but right now it's me, Lyle and Jay.

"Where the hell is he?" I mutter and right after saying that a van packs right in front of us. The door opens and Cole along with some three girls meet us. Out of those three I recognize two and my glare doesn't lessen when I see who he brought along with him.

"Oh this is going to be good." Jay murmurs under his breath and Lyle smacks the back of his head which earns a 'hey that hurt' from Jay.

"Hey guys this is Lindsey my girlfriend and well you know these two already." I shake hand with the red hair and she hides behind Cole after muttering a small hey to the others, guess she is shy.

"Hey Storm."

"Bye Carla." I reply and walk away making sure to grab a snickering Lyle on the way. We put our things in the back and made sure that Jay and Lyle sat on both sides of me. There is no way I'm letting her sit beside me, like that will be a cold day in hell and that is neither happening too.

"I was made aware that it's gonna be guys." I tell Cole giving him an accusing look.

"Yeah well the other guys didn't want to come so err I invited Kendall and Carla." He mutters sheepishly and rubs the back of his neck. He gives me an awkward look through the drive mirror, "I hope it isn't an issue."

"Oh it's not at all." I reply sarcastically but I guess he is not fluent in speaking sarcasm because he sighs in relief and starts the car.

"Great! let's get this show on the road then." And with that we set of to the woods.

I'm quickly regretting my decision and just to be clear not the camping trip but the car trip. This is a nightmare I tell, Lyle, Lindsey and Cole keep singing to every song that comes on the radio, Jay keeps on showing me pictures of the girls he sleeps with and don't even get me started on those two girls in the back, talking about things I don't even want to repeat. If you search for annoyed and irritated in the dictionary, I'm sure you're gonna find my name with a picture there because that's exactly what I'm feeling. I'm seriously considering hitting someone in the car. I tighten my jaw when I hear my name come up in Carla and Kendall's conversation; they better leave me out of it.

"We're here guys." Cole suddenly announces from the front, the car slows down and it takes everything in me not to kiss the ground.

"Finally!" I sigh in relief, elbowing Lyle on my way out of the car.

"Watch it asshole!" Lyle says with a groan and I flip him off. They all get out, picking their stuff from the car and walking towards the campsite.

"Okay so we have a ten minute walk to do before we reach the camping grounds. So I suggest you stick close so you don't get missing okay." Cole mutters and grabs his girlfriend's hand after saying that.

"Are you kidding me? Why didn't you drive to the place and how do you even expect me to walk in these heels?" Kendall snaps with irritation, giving a pointed glare to Cole who only shrugs and starts walking.

"First of all Karen if you didn't notice, it's a path meant for feet not tyres and are you really dumb to wear heels, like who the fuck wears heels to camping even Carla was smart enough to wear hiking shoes." Lyle retorts and she just growls at him before stomping after Cole with Carla following close behind.

"This is going to be a nightmare." Jay replies from beside me and I nod. We follow them and true to what Cole said we walked for ten minutes.

"Alright ladies th-"

"Ahem." Lyle clears his throat which makes Cole roll his eyes.

"Shut up, like I was saying, the ladies should try and set up the tent and we the guys will collect firewood." He tells us which is met with a lot of protest.

"I don't know how to set a tent." Carla retorts and I roll my eyes.

"I can teach you." Lindsey replies softly.

"That's settled then, alright fellas let's go." We drop the bags on the ground leaving them to do whatever and we enter the forest.

"In the Jungle the lions jungle the-"

"Shut up Lyle!" Jay snaps.

Twenty minutes later we come back to see that so far only two of the tents have been set up leaving one left. Cole helps Lindsey finish everything and after some few minutes they are done.

"Guys if you haven't noticed there are three tents and seven people." I point out to them and guessing from the looks of their face they didn't realize.

"Well three people are gonna have to share one." Jay retorts and we all nod in agreement.

"Hey Storm wanna share a tent with me." Carla smiles at me with a hopeful look.

"Hey Carla wanna share scriptures with me." I repeat giving her the same look. Her smile drops and she huffs turning away from me and walking to Kendall. "Yeah that's what I thought." I murmur.

Later on that night, we gather around the camp fire having conversations and sharing jokes but I'm lost in thought as usual. I didn't want to think too much about how when we got here, I felt slightly different. I don't know why but I feel the need to explore the woods.

"Uh guys I'm just gonna take a walk."

"I'll come with you." Carla says suddenly.

"I prefer going alone." I mutter through clenched teeth but she ignores me and just links her arm through mine. What part of she's my ex-girlfriend doesn't she get. I sigh and give her a tight lipped smile.

What's the worse that could happen.

We walk for some few minutes and I'm just chanting in my head that she doesn't even talk but guess today is full of broken dreams.

"I want you back." She whispers into the silence and if I wasn't close enough I wouldn't have even heard it.

"Too late." I state bluntly not even bothering to explain. We pass by a certain weird looking tree and I feel the shift in the air immediately. My heart quickens and if I wasn't a guy I probably would have screamed. I feel eyes on me but I can't point exactly where it is.

"Storm please I know what I did was wrong and I'm sorry but please I love you okay just come back." She pleads holding on tightly to my arm. I hear a slight growl and my steps falter a bit.

"Do you hear that?" I whisper, searching my surroundings. Okay now I understand how those idiots in the horror movie feel.

"Hear what? I don't hear anything. Storm please just let's work this out."

Is she still going on about this, fuck we're about to die and this is all she can think of.  I'm about to scold when my eyes land on something glowing in the dark most importantly a pair of eyes watching me.

Are those eyes violet?

They hold me captive, just staring at me and I'm just there looking like Patrick star trying to solve a problem. I see fingers snap in front of me but I honestly don't care.

"Hello, Storm are you even listening to me." Carla snaps. She raises her hand to cup my cheek and a growl so loud is heard. She drops her hand immediately and terrified eyes look around until she follows where my gaze is. She freezes on the spot and those violet eyes narrow at her.

I want to see who those eyes belong to.

"Who the fuck are you?" Carla yells to the person and I feel myself getting angered by how rude she is being. Weird.

Violet eyes step out from the shadows and I inhale sharply. This person is a goddess, dressed in white, black midnight hair tumbles in soft waves around her, her face carrying a hint of innocence and her body. Fuck her body is amazing, the dress she wears does nothing but show her curvy body. Those pink lips form a small pout and my favorite are her eyes. Her eyes gleam in the moonlight and maybe a hint of curiosity swirls within them. I know I'm not the only enthralled by the beauty of her because Carla is quiet but all good things come to an end.

"I won't ask again freak, who the hell are you? " Can she shut up so I can continue admiring the girl. It seems violet eyes doesn't take well to being spoken like that so she tilts her head like a puppy and I hear a body drop on the floor. I look down to see Carla laying at me feet and I stare dumbfounded at what happened.

I look up to see her watching me, well more like checking me out. I make out a tiny blush forming on her cheeks and that makes me smirk. She looks into my eyes and says one word.

"Mate."

Now the events that happened after that are totally blur because after she said that, she transformed into a huge wolf right in front of my eyes and I could have reacted much differently than what I did but guess what,

I fainted.

A/n: just to be clear she is not really a goddess but that's how he sees her. If you didn't get confused by that part then congratulations you get an imaginary hug.
