Storm's Pov

Rays of sunlight trickles softly between the curtains announcing the beginning of the day. My eyes flutter open and an euphoria spreads across my body. My grip around her waist tightens and a grin spreads across my face when I think about the events that happened all through the night and morning. She felt so damn sweet in my arms. I look down placing a kiss on top of her head as I pull her closer to me. She shifts closer tightening her arm around me and my breath hitches in my throat when she wiggles her hips a bit.

Damn it, I forgot that I'm still in her. My grin widens, thinking of how shy she was when I said I wanted us to sleep naked with me in her. She wouldn't mind if I rock my hips a bit right?

I mentally smack myself in the head. She might be sore and you're here thinking of taking her again. Damn it Storm keep it togeth-

Holy fucking----My eyes widen in shock when she continues moving her hips slowly riding me in her sleep and I feel myself swell within her.

I need to go!

I start panicking and the little control I have nearly fly out the window when she moans.

Is she trying to kill me? I clench my jaw, tightening my grip around her as I close my eyes tightly. "Artemis." I whisper hoarsely, a groan escaping me when she does it again. Does she know what she's doing.

I tilt her chin up only to see her eyes closed but her faced in scrunched up in pleasure as she bites her lips.

"Storm." She whispers breathlessly riding me a bit faster. Is she dreaming? My toes curl in pleasure and I grunt slowly bringing my hands down and guiding her hips.

Her brows furrow deep in concentration until a soft moan escapes her lips when we both come together. She suddenly opens her eyes and everything around me just stops. Her usually dull violet eyes are bright and alive with a certain flame sparking within it. Her lips tug up in a slow smile enhancing her already enchanting look.

"Hi." She whispers staring at me lovingly and I raise my hand, pushing her face into my chest before slowly running my fingers through her hair. Her grip around my waist tightens as she snuggles closer to me.

"Can you hear that?" I whisper after sometime and she nods her head, placing her hand on my chest and feeling my racing heart.

"I love you." She whispers placing a kiss on my chest before looking up to stare at me. My face softens and I cup her cheeks bringing her face upwards and placing a chaste kiss on her lips.

She smiles through the kiss and pulls back looking around the room for a minute. Her eyes widen in shock and heat spreads across her cheeks when she notices that we are still naked.

I smirk, ruffling her hair. "Now don't go all shy on me Artemis. You have been naughty this morning."

Her jaw drops open, ready to defend her self and I place my finger on her lips, staring at her intensely. "Don't even try to deny it. You took advantage of me and I want to pay you back."

Artemis eyes widen in surprise and she yelps when I suddenly pick her up in my arms, heading straight for the bathroom.

"What are you doing Storm? Let me down!" She rushes out and I look down at her, a taunting smirk on my face.

"Nuh-uh babe. We are gonna have so much fun in the shower." I say and lean a bit to whisper in her ear. "And everyone is gonna hear their Alpha scream my name."

She hiccups, staring wide eyed at me and I chuckle, stepping into the shower to continue where we left off.

By the time we get back down, it's almost noon. I step into the kitchen whistling a tune happily to myself and Artemis slowly drags herself behind me, grumbling under her breath. I pause mid-step when I find Ollie, Selena and Esme all sitting by the counter with matching smirks on their faces.

"Well you look exceptionally happy." Selena says with a grin and Ollie wiggles his eyebrow, a smirk on his lips. I purse my lips, narrowing my eyes at them and shrug.

"I am." I reply and resume whistling. Artemis finally enters the kitchen and she gasps staring at her friends.

"So..."Ollie trails off with a suggestive look and Artemis glares at him.

"If you say a word, I'm gonna rip your tongue out." She snaps and Ollie pretends to zip his lip, nodding his head but you can see the mischief written in his eyes.

"You're limping. Is everything okay?" Esme casually comments, staring at the way Artemis leans against the counter.

"Esme!" Artemis yells, a horrified look on her face and Esme shrugs staring at her innocently.

"What? It's just a question. Why are you getting so worked up?" She grumbles and I press my lips together to keep myself from bursting out in laughter.

Artemis narrows her eyes at all of us, her gaze lingering on me for a second and I smirk, raising my hand and wiggling my fingers in her direction.

She huffs, crossing her arms and looking away from me. "You're all mean."

We all burst out laughing and she pouts, stomping her feet before walking over to the fridge. I chuckle, stepping behind her and wrapping my arms around her waist as I place my chin on her shoulder. "Don't be mad Artemis."

She doesn't respond just staring inside the fridge and I place a kiss on her neck. She shivers, leaning into my embrace and I smile against her skin, trailing my lips upwards until I reach her ear and gentle bite on in.

A shaky breath escapes her lips and I tighten my arms around her. "I really want to take you again Artemis." I whisper in her ear and she moans. I clench my jaw, closing my eyes trying to shut off the images of her naked body withering  in pleasure beneath me.

"Are you guys gonna hump in front of us?"

Like a splash of cold water, I remember the people around us and I groan burying my face in her neck and she giggles patting my arm.

I sigh, letting go but not before whispering a 'later' in her ear with a promising look on my face.

Artemis makes lunch for all of us and once we are done, we all head into the living room. The playful atmosphere we had suddenly disappears and a serious look crosses over their features.

"We need to start making arrangements Artemis." Ollie says with a frown and Artemis sighs nodding her head. I stare at them confusingly for a minute and as if sensing my confusion Artemis takes my hand in hers giving me a small smile.

"Remember what I showed you?" She questions and my face becomes blank before I nod my head. We still haven't spoken about it.

She sighs pursing her lips. "When you were in a coma, we found the mole who was responsible for helping with the attacks and it was Ace."

My jaw drops as I openly stare at her in shock. "Ace? The Ace who you made watch over me? The Ace who cried and complained about his mate leaving him? That Ace?"

Artemis nods her head and I scoff in disbelief running my fingers through my hair. "But how?"

"I believe Arson got to him and somehow was able to bring his father's soul into his body."

"What?!" My outburst startles Artemis and she wraps her arms around me.

"It's okay Storm." She says softly and I feel myself relaxing for a minute before something dawns on me.

"Was that who nearly killed you?"

She stiffly nods her head and I clench my hands into a fist, glaring at the wall in front of me. "He and that bloody one eyed ass are gonna pay for it."

Artemis looks up to stare at me and smiles, patting my cheeks. "They will, trust me." She turns to face Ollie. "I need you to start making preparations for a war.  Tell Damien that he should prepare the warriors, increase the number of training hours and make sure they are well prepared because the next time I come there, they will be fighting me."

He nods his head and I frown to myself. I need to also train as well.

"Artemis." Esme speaks up, a troubled look on her face and since I've known her, this is the first time I'm seeing such a look in her eyes. "I think I have an idea on who was able to bring his soul back."

Artemis frowns, gesturing her to go on and Esme purses her lips. "Emrie."

At the mention of her name everyone stiffens and Artemis growls clenching her fist by her side, her eyes shifting between red and violet.

"Who is she?" I ask confusedly and Ollie sighs, running his fingers through his hair.

"Esme's twin sister also the first black witch." He mutters and I whip my head to stare in shock. She raises her brow questionly at me and I furrow my brows.

"You have sister?"

She nods and the rolls her eyes. "Damn it, I should have known she was the one. I mean all the signs where there." She sighs and stands up, staring into space before she sighs again. "I guess I need to pay her a visit."

Selena opens her mouth to say something but it's too late because she suddenly disappears. Artemis stares at the spot with an unreadable expression and looks up before she sighs shaking her head.

"Will she be okay?" Ollie says, staring at the spot in concern and I frown.

"Why wouldn't she be okay?"

Ollie looks up, shaking his head dejectedly. "Because Emrie killed their family and wiped an entire clan of werewolves from existence."

My jaw drops in shock. You have got to be kidding me. I stare at all of them in shock, glancing at Artemis with questioning eyes and she nods her head.

I puff my cheeks, a frown on my face as I try to let everything sink in. Esme has a twin, her twin killed her family and wiped an entire generation of wolves. Just how powerful is she?

"Artemis." I call out hesitantly and she looks up raising one brow in question. I press my lips wondering how to say it and as if knowing my train of thoughts, a small smile graces her lips.

"You wanna know if I have ever fought with her knowing what she did to my people?" I bite my lip nodding my head and she chuckles, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"I haven't but I know someone who did." She answers staring into space as if remembering something before she shakes her head. "A lot happened Storm long before you were born and honestly that story isn't mine to tell."

I nod my head, agreeing to what she's saying before something clicks and I stare at Ollie and Selena with narrowed eyes. "How old are you guys?"

Ollie scoffs, standing up with a bewildered look on his face. "After all these months, you're now asking for my age." He looks away grumbling under his breath before turning to face me. "Just know when I was born, your parents hadn't met. Same goes for Selena."

"You're kidding right?" I question in shock and he rolls his eyes at me. I glance at Selena and she smiles sheepishly at me.

"It's true Storm. It's kinda of the perks of belonging to this pack. We basically stop aging at twenty and from that time our aging just slows down and when I mean slows down, like drastically slows down that one might think we look twenty but we're more than that." She explains and I slump in my seat pouting.

Guess I will die and leave them.

A hand rest on my shoulder, squeezing it gently and I look up to stare into gentle eyes.

"Don't pout Storm, you're my mate and our souls are intertwined so no matter what we're gonna stay together forever and if you haven't noticed, ever since I marked you, you've stopped aging as well." Artemis says and my eyes widen in disbelief.

"Really?"

"Yup."

"Enough talk about ages. I have a date with my mate and I need to go." Ollie suddenly announces and begins to look nervous for some reason. I stare at his expression for a bit and Artemis smiles, leaning forward to kiss my cheeks before she gets up, walking over to Selena and grabs her hand.

"I'm heading to the pack house. Come there once you're done." Artemis says waving at me and I smile watching us she drags Selena out of the house. My gaze lands back on Ollie and he looks away rubbing the back of his neck.

I tilt my head to the side, staring at him without a word and he fidgets looking around the room. He clenches his jaw, tugging on the ends of his hair before blue eyes finally look in my direction, narrowing slightly.

"Would you stop that!" He snaps and I raise my brow at him. What have I done?

He groans, slumping back in his seat and stares at the ceiling. "You're being intimidating right now." He mumbles.

"How so?" I question calmly, still staring at him and he sighs finally deciding to look at me.

"I have decided to tell Sunny about me." He blurts out, ignoring my question and my brows shoot up in surprise. I wasn't expecting that. I frown, staring at my fingers thoughtfully. With everything that is happening, it might be the best if she knows. No matter how much I want her away from this world, I just can't do that and besides she's mated to one. Might as well just get it over and done with.

"Okay." I finally say and Ollie jerks upright, staring at my face in shock.

"Okay?"

I shrug nonchalantly. "Yeah. Anyway, have fun on your date." With that I leave the house, not even waiting for a reply and head straight to the pack house. Once inside, I'm suddenly pulled into a bear hug.

The air gets knocked out of me from how tight the person is squeezing and I look up to see Edward standing there with an unhappy look on his face.

"I thought I told you not to scare us and you do just that." A soft voice scolds and I sigh wrapping my arms around Elizabeth.

"I'm sorry, I really am."

She sighs pulling back and cups my cheek, a sad smile on her face. "I'm glad you're okay but please try not to get in harms way."

I smile, nodding my head and Edward steps forward, pulling her slightly into his arms and wrapping an arm around her shoulders. I mentally roll my eyes, such a possessive werewolf.

"Hi Ed." I chirp up excitedly and he narrows his eyes slightly before he sighs shaking his head at me.

"You're one lucky kid." He mumbles, his eyes softening a bit as he stares at me and I shrug, grinning at him.

"I know." He shakes his head before rolling his eyes and my expression turns serious once I remember something. " I need you to teach me how to fight."

If he is surprised, he doesn't show it but nods his head. Elizabeth gapes at me and I smile.

"I have to take care of myself and mate, so it's only right if I let him teach me." I say and she purses her lips before nodding her head.

"Fine but you'll need to eat more." She trails her eyes over my body, shaking her head in disappointment as she toots. "You look so thin but don't worry I'll shape you perfectly."

And with that, she suddenly drags her mate to only God knows where and I smile, shaking my head at her before heading straight to Artemis office.

When I enter, I see her buried in her work, a concentrated look on her face with a pen perched between her lips and black hair making a curtain on both sides of her face. She grumbles something, clicking the pen and crosses something out, grunting at it before she crumbles the paper and throws it away.

"You look so beautiful." I casually comment and without looking up, a blush coats her cheeks.

"I'm frustrated Storm, how can it be equivalent to beauty?" She questions raising her head to stare at me and I smile shrugging before walking towards her. I step behind her chair, resting my hand on her tensed shoulders and she relaxes instantly. I rub them in circles, making sure to get the knots and she moans leaning back in her chair with a content look on her face.

"You should relax." I whisper and gently place a kiss behind her ear. She shivers, shaking her head.

"I can't, not when I know there's gonna be a war knocking on my door very soon."

I hum, leaning forward and placing butterfly kisses on her neck. She sighs, tilting her head to the side to give me more access and and I smirk against her skin. She hisses when I suddenly bite her skin only to moan when I soothe the pain with my tongue.

"Storm." She breathes out, closing her eyes when I continue to assault her neck. "We still need to talk."

I stiffen a bit but continue my actions. "Talk about what?" I feign ignorance. I really don't want to.

She gulps, bring her arms behind her to wrap them around my neck as she plays with my hair. "What happened."

"And what is that?" I whisper hoarsely, trailing my lips to kiss her jaw and she shudders.

"T-the-umm..." She stutters and I smile turning her around and capture her lips with my own. I can never get tired of kissing her. It always leaves me wanting for me. Her lips and kisses are like drugs that I honestly don't care getting addicted to it.

Artemis pulls back, resting her forehead against my own as she tries to control her breathing. I lean forward, ready to capture those sweet lips of her but her hand covers my mouth, opening her eyes to stare at me and my breath hitches in my throat at the clearness within those violet eyes.

"I know what you're doing Storm and as much as I want to ignore this, I just can't."

I sigh, knowing that she is right and I step back, creating enough distance between us. I keep my expression blank as I stare at her. "What should we talk about?"

Her face falls at my actions and I look away, clenching my jaw before taking deep breaths.

"What happened when Arson took you?" She questions also giving me a blank look and I shrug nonchalantly, looking at the things around her office.

"Just the usual."

She frowns crossing her arms in front of her. "What is the usual?"

I narrow my eyes at her. "Artemis I know what you're thinking and what you really want to know."

Her eyes betray her for a minute before she composes herself staring at me blankly. "I want to know what Arson did to you."

I chuckle, running my fingers through my hair as I stare at her in amusement. "You know what Arson did, you know what happened between us but what you want to know is if after everything you showed me last night, am I going to leave or not?"

She steps back, looking away from me. "Isn't that what is going to happen? After all I am-

"A monster." I finish for her and she lowers her eyes, staring at the floor.

"Yeah." She mumbles and I scoff at her.

"You're right. You are a monster."

She suddenly looks up, staring at me with wide pained filled eyes and I chuckle mockingly at her and she flinches at the sound.

"What? Isn't that what you are? A monster? A killer? A cold blooded murderer?"

Her lips tremble and tears fill up her eyes. "You're right! I am monster. I killed innocents lives, people who didn't deserve to die but I still did it with a smile!" She snaps, glaring at me and I raise my brow, walking towards her slowly.

"Indeed you are." I mutter calmly and that seems to infuriate her so she growls, glaring at me hatefully.

"So what are you doing here huh. Why don't you run away from this monster because who knows when she will suddenly lose control and kill you!"

I smile, stopping right in front of her as a grab a strand of her hair, twirling it around my fingers before I look into her eyes. "Because I love this monster."

"What?"

I grin at the blank look on her face, cupping her cheeks and rest my forehead on hers. "I love you Artemis."

She suddenly pushes me away abruptly, shaking her head as she steps away from me. "You can't love me."

I raise my brow at her. "Why not?"

She looks at me like I've lost my mind. "Because I am not a good person Storm. I lied to you and put you in danger so many times."

"So what?" I frown wondering where she's going with this.

She shakes her head in denial, looking utterly lost and confused. I walk closer to her and she makes herself small, staring at the ground.

"Artemis look at me."

She shakes her head, light sniffles coming from her and my face softens as I cup her cheeks, staring into tear filled eyes.

"Why?" She mumbles brokenly and my heart breaks. I kiss her eyes, kissing her tears before kissing her forehead.

"There is no why as to why I love you." I chuckle at my own words before pulling back a bit to stare into her eyes. "But I do love you Artemis. All of you, whether it's your past or your present, I love you. Don't doubt my love for you and most importantly don't ever blame yourself." I whisper sadly.

She stares at me for a minute before suddenly wrapping her arms around me, letting out a soft cry. "I'm so sorry Storm for what happened to you but I don't regret meeting you."

My arms tighten around her waist as and I bury my face in her neck, squeezing her closer to me. "I don't either."

We stand there for awhile until her stomach suddenly growls and I chuckle pulling away to stare at the embarrassed blush on her face.

"Not a word." She says and I zip my lips nodding my head before pecking her lips. She smiles, letting out a sigh of relief and I grab my phone ready to order something for us.

"Storm." She says softly and I look up to stare at the soft smile in her eyes. "I love you."

I grin, walking over to her and kissing her passionately. "I love you more."

She giggles, nodding her head and I smile making the order before taking her hand and walking over to her chair. I plant myself on it and pull her to sit on my lap.

"Storm!" She yelps in surprise and I smile tightening my arms around her waist as I bury my face in her neck. "I have work to do."

"Do it then."

"But you--"

I tilt her face towards me, silencing her with my lips. "Let's just stay like this."

Her face softens and she pecks my lips, nodding her head before turning her attention back to her work. I smile and somehow ended up taking a nap only for Artemis to wake me up, telling me that the food was here. We ate in silence, with me feeding Artemis and her blushing all the time.

It was late when she decided to stop for us to go home and that's when I got the call, Looking at my phone, I frown before something clicks and I answer the call.

"Storm." A shaky voice calls my name and my frown deepens as I stop in my tracks. Artemis turns around with a questioning look in eyes and I smile reassuringly at her.

"What's wrong?"

"Please come back to your apartment, I-I don't know what to do."

I sigh nodding my head. "On my way Sunny." With that she hangs up and Artemis stares at me with a soft smile.

"She needs me."

"I know and I'll take you there." She says and I nod my head. We quickly take her car and that's when we hear a lonely howl in a distance. We stare at each other knowing clearly who it belongs to.

Ollie.
