Storm's Pov
Malory Dames, my 2nd grade crush. She was so perfect and I was willing to share my cooties with her.
"Holy moon goddess are you guys seeing this."
"Shut up Ollie."
Life was so easy back then but back to Malory Dames, she was perfect to me that is if you take away the fact that two front teeth were missing, wearing pigtails and had an odd sense of fashion then you're good.
"What are you thinking about?" Kaden sneers at me. I hate Kaden, he was such a bully to me always stealing my juice box.
"Your mom's butt."
"Damn, does he always have dreams like this?"
"Shut up Selena."
"What did you just say?" Kaden snaps grabbing my shirt by the collar. Okay so I might had a big mouth even in 2nd grade but it's my dad's fault okay. The first thing he taught me how to say was fuck and butt so excuse me if I know certain things.
"My first word was bitch." Ollie grins
"Mine was mama."
"Will you guys quit it!"
"Sorry."
"Are you stupid or dumb, better yet are you deaf because I don't like to repeat myself." I snap back and the anger on Kaden's face made me piss my pants a little bit.
"You're gonna pay for this Storm." And with that he walks away with Jackson, dumb and Michael, dumber trailing behind him. Thinking about it, I should have kept my mouth shut but I was on roll and I wasn't going to allow Kaden to spit all over me because the boy spits when talking, literally spits a lot.
The next day I see Malory sitting with her group of friends and I muster courage to go and speak to her because my dad said I should make her my bitch whatever that means.
Bursting out laughing Ollie points at him,"What the fuck does his dad teach him?"
Wiping my sweaty palms, I tap her shoulder, "Hi Malory." All conversations stop and she turns to watch me.
"Storm, hey." She knows my name, okay just do it, make her your bitch.
"So I was wondering if you'd like to-
"Hey Storm!" Oh what now, what now can't you see I'm busy.
"Oh Hi Kaden!" Malory smiles at him. Why does he get a smile and I a blank look. He does what I think is meant to be a wink but I can't tell if his eye is twitching or he's trying to blink away his stupidity, must be the latter.
"What do you want Kaden?" I sneer at him.
"Payback." he says smiling wickedly at me, turning me around, quickly grabbing my boxers and giving me the most excruciating wedgie ever. Tears drop from my eyes as everyone laughs at me and the worst thing was I was wearing a Barbie polka dot boxer shorts.
Malory never spoke to me again until she moved away all thanks to Kaden.
"That has got to be the worst feelings ever and right in front of your crush." A voice says drifting into my conscience.
"You know when I said knock him out, I didn't tell you to make him bleed." A familiar voice snaps.
"Well how am I supposed to know he bleeds easily okay and why the fuck are you blaming me, you know you could have done your sleepy thing and poof he's out and besides you healed him." Another voices defends. What is with all the noise can't they tell my head is killing me.
"And risk them finding where I am, I think not and don't cuss at me."
"Can you guys bicker later, he's waking up."
Fluttering my eyes, I bring my hand to the back of my head groaning lightly at the dull pain throbbing there. What the hell happened?
"Do you think he's gonna be mad about what we did?"
"Shut up Ollie."
Wait a minute I know that voice, I know Ollie. Sitting up straight I look around, why does this place look familiar?
Maybe it's because you've woken up here before.
Crap! This is where violet eyes brought me, is she here? My eyes land on Ollie and he grins sheepishly at me.
"Sorry about your head buddy but it had to be done." Head? What the fuck is he-
Artemis.
Clenching the sheets with my fist I glare at him, "Where is Artemis?"
He stares at me in surprise when another voice speaks up, "How are you feeling Storm? "
"Selena." Scrunching my face in confusion I stare at her, I'm so confused right now.
"I know everything seems confusing for you," Giving her a face that screams 'ya think?' "But there's a logical explanation for it and it will all make sense of within minutes or hours depends on you." Shrugging she stands by Ollie and that's when I notice the figure standing there.
"Who are you?" I question. She raises her head and I gasp, it's violet eyes. It's really her it wasn't a dream or my imagination but how?
"Hi Storm." She mutters smiling at me. That face, that smile it's so familiar like Arte-
"Artemis." I whisper at her getting up from the bed. "B-but that's not possible."
"I know but like Selena said it will all make sense." She says in a voice that sounds soft yet commanding.
Rubbing my temples, I sigh and look at all three of them, "Explain."
"Wait you want to know why you've being kidnapped twice?" Ollie raises his brow at me and I glare at the bewildered look on his face.
"Don't remind me and if you don't start talking I'm gonna call the police and accuse you of kidnapping me." I point out and now it's his turn to glare at me.
"Why you little-
"Enough!" Artemis booms shocking me at the authority dripping from her voice. Ollie and Selena bow their heads and I look at Artemis to see her eyes glowing.
"Leave us." She instructs and they mutter a yes before walking out. I stare at her in shock wondering how she just did that, her eyes going back to the dull violet before she sighs and looks at me.
"Look here Missy, you better start explaining what just happened else I'm out." I grumble watching as she rolls her eyes when I call her missy.
"I can't let you leave." Artemis shrugs walking to the other side of the room.
"What do you mean you can't let me leave, it's quite simple actually. You open the door I walk out and then poof I'm gone." Saying that leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I don't want to leave her but I can't just stay here too.
"I know but I can't do that, I need to protect you." She reasons
Confusingly, "You," I point to her and she nods, "want to protect me?" pointing to myself she nods again. I suddenly burst out laughing, you've got to be kidding me.
"What's so funny?" Artemis frowns at me clearly taken offence to what I just did.
"I'm sorry but have you seen how tiny you are." I tell her in between laughs.
"Size doesn't matter if it gets the job done." She retorts calmly, arms clasped behind her.
"Maybe but why do I even need protection I haven't done anything wrong." I point out to her and she nods in agreement.
"That is true but just trust me okay." She pleads stepping closer to me, cupping my cheeks and looking at me tenderly. I return her gaze getting lost in those eyes , skin burning in a pleasant way as I bring my arms around her waist pulling her closer to me.
"Who are you Artemis?" I whisper too scared that if I speak any louder it will disturb whatever is going on. I rub the pads of my thumb on her cheek and she closes her eyes savoring whatever feeling she's getting.
"I'm a werewolf." She whispers, I freeze and for the third time meeting her I pass out again.
A/n:
Honestly I don't get why Storm keeps on fainting like can't he take the news like a man. Anywho two chapters in a week, I'm proud of myself and you guys for motivating me to write more.
P.s: In case anyone got confused with the beginning of the chapter it's basically Ollie, Selena and Artemis seeing what Storm is dreaming about.
