A/n: Hiii! Quick disclaimer before you continue,
What you're about to read is loads of crap that came to my head when I was sleeping around 2am so I had to wake up and write it so I don't forget it. First of I'm not really into Greek mythology but I love their names a lot so I kinda of used them. So know that whatever history you're about to read is a lie well apart from Leto being the mother to Artemis and Apollo well according to Google anyway but the rest is pretty much made up.

Storm's Pov
"Ugh, I had the weirdest dreams ever that Artemis was violet eyes and she told me she was a werewolf." muttering to myself as I blink away the haze in my eyes. I honestly don't get why I faint so much.
"Ahem." A throat clears. I look up and groan.
Flopping back on the bed I sigh,"Guess it wasn't a dream."
"No it wasn't but I can explain everything that is if you promise not to faint again." Artemis replies amusingly.
"Hardy ha, just talk." I murmur. She sits beside me deep in thought.
"I want you to keep an open mind okay and let me say everything and after I'm done you can ask questions so no interruptions okay." I nod my head and she scoots closer to me making my body heat up.
"I don't know much about how we became what we are or like how you humans refer to as werewolves but from what I know we are descendants of Leto a Greek goddess who became the first she-wolf. She and her sister Luna also known as the moon goddess had deep connections with nature but since they were goddesses they couldn't just roam the earth so Leto decided to turn into one of her favorite animals the wolf. Luna not wanting to be left out also transformed and together they roamed the earth but one day when Leto was out in the fields she saw something strange, she saw a human. She felt drawn to him so she decided to find out what made her so drawn to this human. Luna cautioned her that it was dangerous to associate with humans but Leto was curious but promised her sister that she will be careful.
One day, she saw the human in the same fields and decided to reveal herself to him. The connection they shared was instant, unbreakable, a mate bond with a human. So they fell in love and had children, Artemis and Apollo was the name of her children."
"Wait so,-
"No I'm not her child." I nod telling her to continue. "They were all happy, living on earth and by that time Luna had also found her mate. But unfortunately their happiness was short lived when the god of chaos saw what had happened. Before that he was in love with Leto and was promised her hand but well she fell in love with someone else so he got angry. Leto defended her family, changed into the very thing she loved, a wolf and fought with her sister by her side. Noah never knew what she was, so when she changed into a wolf you could imagine his surprise but he still stayed, protecting the children but the god of chaos was too strong so in order for Leto to save her family, she sacrificed herself unleashing a power that was so strong that it wiped the army of the god of chaos. Her mate, Noah was devastated by the loss of Leto and took his life but not before handing his children to Luna to take care of and thus this generation we have." She ends tears filling her eyes but quickly wipes them away before it can drop.
Frowning I ask her,"So you're saying that there's a whole generation of people like you scattered all over the world?" She nods her head. "Wow, that's a lot."
Shrugging she smiles slightly at me, "Yeah that's what it means but we believe in the moon goddess and besides not everyone knows about this version. All they know is that they are descendants of the moon goddess but Luna never had children anyway."
"Can I ask my questions now?" Getting comfortable on the bed she nods her head at me. "First of all how the fuck is your eyes violet like are you wearing contacts or something and how come it turned green?" She burst out laughing at the confused look on my face but sobering up once she realizes how serious I am.
"I was born with these eyes and I kind of have the ability to change my eyes when I want to. It's meant to conceal my identity from other werewolves and humans." She says twirling her hair around her finger. She looks everywhere but my face and I furrow my brows.
"Why do you need to conceal your identity?"
"Pass."
I stare at her incredulously, "What do you mean by pass, I need to know."
"Just ask your other questions and I'll explain that later it's a long story." Artemis replies.
"Okay fine, if what you're saying is true about wolves and from what I know wolves like to live in packs right?" She nods her head in reply. "So does that apply to you as well?"
Getting up from the bed, she walks towards the window staring at the curtains before replying, "Yes we do have packs and before you ask how we are able to keep order within those packs it's simple, every pack has an alpha, a Luna, a beta and a gamma. Alphas are like leaders of the pack, they protect and defend the pack. Everything that deals with the pack rest on the alpha. Then we have the beta who is the second in command, meaning that if the alpha is not there the beta has to take over. Betas also perform their duties alongside with the alpha. Then we have the gamma, who takes charge when the alpha and beta aren't there, the gamma has to take up the role of the pack. It differs with every pack actually, some prefer having Delta's as well but with this pack it's just the Alpha, beta and gamma." She concludes.
"Wait a minute, what about this Luna?" I question. Artemis glances in my direction for a minute before staring at the curtain again.
"Remember how I said that Leto had a connection with Noah that was unbreakable?" I nod my head but remember she can't see me before muttering a yes to her. "Well that connection is called a mate bond. Leto was the first to establish a mate bond, one that balances you with another. Every wolf has a mate somewhere in the world and its through this connection that you meet your mate. Your mate is your other half and without him or her you wouldn't feel complete and this bond ties you to the person forever."
Raising my hand I stop her from continuing, "Hold up, so you're saying there's someone out there in this world that is your other half and it could literally be anyone." scrunching her nose she nods at me. "What the fuck! So you're saying you'll be tied to someone you might not even like just because of this bond thingy."
"It sounds absurd but it's what balances every wolf out there. Without our mates our wolves could-
"Wolves? What the hell do you mean by wolves?" This just keeps getting weird and weird.
Groaning in frustration she starts pacing about muttering something under her breath, stopping to watch the confused look on my face before pacing once again, " Okay I'm gonna explain this as best as I can because honestly I've never had to explain my existence to anyone especially humans. Now listen, I have a wolf within me-
"I- I-
"Don't interrupt." I close my mouth quickly. "Like I was saying I have a wolf within me, I'm able to transform into my wolf anytime I want and no not when it's the full moon only that's just a silly notion humans made up for our kind but we are more hyper during the full moon. My wolf has a mate right and we need our mate to keep her balanced so she doesn't go feral and attack people. Mates are important to us, they are sacred and it is our duty to protect them, love them, care for them. Just as you humans have someone you spend you life with, we also do just that ours is more based on a bond but it's up to the two mates to decide if they want to keep that bond or destroy it but that is frowned upon. A Luna is the mate to the alpha, an alpha who doesn't have a mate to lead by the side is considered weak and an easy target. A Luna is like a mother figure to the pack." She explains. Everything starts making sense a bit but I find it hard to believe that these things exist. Wait a minute what if this is one of Lyle's tricks?
Watching her skeptically I take a step back watching my surroundings waiting for Lyle to jump and say 'Ha sucker, you fell for it.' Artemis stares at me in curiosity matching my steps as well.
"What are you doing?"
"Okay Lyle you've had your fun now get out so I can punch you in the face." I yell into the room and Artemis freezes on the spot.
"Lyle- why what do you mean- wait a second you don't believe me?" She mutters in disbelief.
"Do you even hear yourself? Of course I don't believe you this ain't twilight okay so just let me go and I won't tell anyone about this." I say trying to reason with her.
Her eyes flash to a vibrant violet as she releases a growl, "You've got to be kidding me, after everything I've said and explained you have the audacity to think I would lie to you!" She snaps in anger glaring fiercely at me.
Fuck she's hot.
Focus Storm, I glare at her. "Well excuse me if what you just said makes no sense at all so what, I'm just supposed to take your word for it and besides why the fuck are you so bent on keeping me here huh!?" I yell back.
"Because you're my mate!" She snaps, turns and jumps out of the window. I quickly run to the window checking down but find nothing just shredded clothes on the grass. I slid on the ground trying to process everything that happened.
There are werewolves in the world, freaking werewolves and somehow I'm the supposed mate, her other half as she claims. This is not possible, how can I be mated to a wolf and a hot one as well. The door bangs open as Selena and Ollie rush inside but stop when they find me sitting on the floor by the broken window.
"Find her." Selena sighs and I'm guessing she's talking to Ollie. "What happened here Storm?"
"She flipped the switch and went Angelina Jolie all up in my ass." I mutter not even bothering to raise my head. Tugging on the ends of my hair I groan in frustration, this is all too much and what the fuck even is the time because it still looks dark.
"So she explained the werewolf thing." Selena states and I raise my head to stare at her.
"Wait so you believe her?" I exclaim and she only laughs at me.
"Honey I am a werewolf." I stare at her in shock as she grins at me.
"H-how-
"I'm sure she explained how we came about but that's not important, she needs you Storm and I know you're a human so it's gonna take awhile for you to understand but keep an open mind." She explains briefly.
"She said something about mates, about me being her mate, is that true?"
"Yes it's true, you're her mate. Let me ask you this, when you touch her don't you feel like there some form of sparks around you? Don't you feel the slight burning sensation on your skin or when you get tingles anytime she mentions your name or how about how when your heart beats fast when you stare into her eyes as everything disappears ,you feel all those things don't you?" I nod my head agreeing to everything she is saying. "Well that my friend is the mate bond." She says smiling at me and just then Ollie rushes back in.
"I couldn't find her, well actually I did but she told me to fuck off not so gently." He informs rubbing his ribs as Selena rolls her eyes at him.
"For a beta you sure are an idiot." Rolling her eyes once more she turns to look at me.
"Wait you're the beta?" I point out and Ollie grins at me.
"Yup and Selena here is the gamma." He says pointing to Selena who winks at me.
"So what about Artemis?" I watch them in curiosity as they ponder over whether to answer me or not until Ollie throws his hands in the air in defeat glaring at Selena who gives him a smug grin.
"She's gonna kill me for saying this but Artemis is the Alpha of this pack, the Midnight fall pack."
A/n:
Haha so when I was done with this chapter I realized that basically this is my imagination so the a/n above literally has no use because I can do whatever I want but then I didn't also want to delete it so umm...yeah okay.
